This article is exactly what I needed right now. My wife and I have both had depression in the past and have both heard people, including those most close to us, try and downplay things and say the words ”You’re fine”. Recently my wife miscarried, and we’ve both had to deal with unbelievable pain. But unfortunately we live in a world where people, even those who are supposedly pro-life, view unborn babies as less of a big deal than babies who get to be born. The pain is very real, and to have people nonchalantly dismiss it by having the attitude of ”Oh well, better luck next time”. Only through the grace of God are me and my wife still functioning and living today. My wish is that people will come to be more understanding of the pain that comes with depression, how dangerous it is, and how foolish it is to callously dismiss those who suffer from it.

Me and my fiance will be making about 300 a week each when we start off, so yes it is possible. Not everyone needs to live like kings and queens at the start of their marriage to be happy, friend.

That’s quite a sweeping claim to make over all youth being deadbeats with no brains. You would be surprised my friend at how many solid and mature young people there are today, despite the ones you read about in the news.
As a 22 year old guy in college preparing to marry the love of my life next year, I have to say I absolutely agree with the sentiment of this article. I know too many people who throw away their youth either in wasting away in crazy parties or pursuing their career to an extreme. People don’t realize that there is such an opportunity for real joy and happiness in starting a family young!
Now my fiance are not fools, we’re planning and budgeting like crazy. That said, even though we’re going to start out with a little less in the beginning, we’ll be the ones far better off in 10 years!
again, as Matt says, its not for everyone, but I certainly would love to give a swift kick in the rear to some of my friends to get them to quite dragging their feet on this.
Great article, very well said. Thanks Matt!

Sounds like a really cheesy ratings stunt for that FOX show Sleepy Hollow… this shouldn’t be a news story.

Which ”Recent” President am I like? Umm, easy answer: None.
BLAZE, please do your research. I don’t watch the show but even I know better. The show time jumps into the future every once in a while, usually between seasons. This promotional photo is of the latest generation of residents living in Downton, not the 1920′s residents. Its not a mistake, its supposed to stand out on purpose as a representation of the new modern world creeping in on a family that still is holding on to the old.
Very good advertising I’d say, since practically every news outlet on the internet is talking about it.

Ahh, and once again Monk you provide us with a comment more memorable than the story ;D
Listen bitch, get your cracka' a$$ outta Uncle Phil's thread....
That's the name of one of your positions isn't it Janet?
The Uncle Feel
RIP dude. Back at the ranch...
I know. That was a pretty good show too.
James Avery was an insanely talented, Shakespearean actor, who pumped so much comedy into that show. Will had the charm, Geoffrey had the wit, and Uncle Phil kept it straight.
Rest in peace, Uncle Phil
She's going to need more than that if she's going to afford that face transplant she so badly needs.

I went to this performance a couple years back when Kirk Cameron did the hosting. It was perfectly fantastic, even more so by the fact that it was Cameron telling the story of Jesus’ birth. I can’t imagine what the show would be like without it, makes no sense cutting that part out :P

Hey Chuck, maybe instead of suggesting a possible President Christie, you should start considering the possibility of a President Paul, or maybe President Cruz.
Thank you Senator Ted Cruz, you are a true American, and don't let the likes of McCain
and others like him bother you, after all they just don't count the American people have
had enough of their kind and more than likely vote them out of office.

How exactly is he a hypocrite? The only reason he is talking about it at all is because the media wouldn’t let it go. He wanted to move on, b hey kept nagging, so he tried to get it all out of the way instead of making it an issue of contention for future campaigning.
