Guess How Baltimore City Schools Spent Some of Their Federal Stimulus Money (Hint: It Wasn’t for Education)

This is nothing new. Taxpayer money hasn’t been used solely to pay for “basic education” for a long time.
Boy Scouts of America Vote to Allow Gay Members
May 24, 2013 at 1:50pm
…do they mean “mis-conduct”? I’m curious to see how the BSA handles the situation when homosexuals make sexual advances towards heterosexual members. Will they throw them out of the club? If they do, they’ll be sued for discrimination
As we all know, this can’t possibly end well for the BSA. The organization, as we once knew it, is over.
Boy Scouts of America Vote to Allow Gay Members
May 24, 2013 at 12:33pm
From the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force:
“This vote marks a monumental step forward for the Boy Scouts of America. We are thrilled for the gay youth who will no longer be turned away from scouting simply because of who they are. This milestone has been years in the making, and we thank all those who have fought so hard to end this grave injustice against our young people. As we celebrate this moment, we know the work isn’t complete. The Boy Scouts of America still discriminates against qualified adults who are denied the opportunity to participate in leadership positions because they are gay.”
So, apparently the LGBT community will continue to fight for gay leadership.
From the BSA website:
“Today, following this review, the most comprehensive listening exercise in Scouting’s history the approximate 1,400 voting members of the Boy Scouts of America’s National Council approved a resolution to remove the restriction denying membership to youth on the basis of sexual orientation alone. The resolution also reinforces that Scouting is a youth program, and any sexual conduct, whether heterosexual or homosexual, by youth of Scouting age is contrary to the virtues of Scouting. A change to the current membership policy for adult leaders was not under consideration; thus, the policy for adults remains in place.”
So, according to the BSA, “…any sexual conduct, whether heterosexual or homosexual…is contrary to the virtues of Scouting.” Do they mean “m

So, now if you have a straight son in the BSA, you risk having him hit-on by a homosexual member during a campout. Isn’t that one of the reasons we have a distinctly separate club for the girls? There is a reason it is not co-ed.
Used to be that a couple of football players could slap each other on the backside and it was simple comaraderie; nowadays, you just don’t know the intention.
Texas May Have Its Own Gosnell: Houston Doc Accused of Gruesome Illegal Abortions
May 17, 2013 at 11:56pm
“This is exactly why we need to have Plan B and other birth control as available as possible, so women never get in this situation in the first place. ”
LOL Oh yeah, that has worked real well. (sarcasm)
I guess we needed a “plan B” because “plan A” (the birth control pill) didn’t work as well as everyone thought it would. But “plan C” (abortion) is still widely used today. There just isn’t a magic pill to erase sin, folks.

Sadly, we are no better than them. Our sins may look a little different, but we are all depraved.

How horribly tragic. I weep for what we humans have become. And I pray for the hearts of this father and son–that they will not grow up with bitterness and anger, but that Jesus will use their lives for His glory.

Rhode Island’s Tallest Building to Go Dark in the ‘Most Visible Symbol of the State’s Long Economic Decline’
April 8, 2013 at 10:20pm
Rhode Island had their big “Renaissance” around 1998 when they built up the main downtown area and added a Venice-like canal complete with gondola rides. Everyone thought it was going to bring people back to Providence and save the city. You just can’t make that happen when you still have corruption throughout every public service and liberal policies that deter businesses and families.
