  Apparently some Boy Scout leaders have blinded
  themselves to the fact that homosexuals who wish
  to recruit young men into homosexual behaviors
  are drawn to Scout Troops, YMCAs, and other
  organizations . . . and they there invite and
  encourage young men to participate in these
  obviously unnatural, demonstrably unwise, and
  individually destructive homosexual behaviors.

  Some of these leaders are now attempting to
  change the B.S.A. rules to allow homosexuals
  to assume Scout troop leadership positions,
  thus changing the very nature of Scouting.

  I hope that you will help educate these leaders,
  and also the parents of Scouts and upcoming
  Scouts . . . and thus preserve the powerful
  benefits of Scouting for generations to come.

  I learned a lot and had a lot of great camping and hiking
  and other kinds of learning experiences, plus a lot of just
  plain fun, in Boy Scout troops to which I belonged. My
  Dad was an Eagle Scout, I was a Life Scout, and my
  brothers and my sons were all Scouts, at various levels
  of advancement.

  I know there are many thousands of men who have
  benefitted greatly from their association with the Boy
  Scouts’ organizations. training, and values.

  So it tears at me deeply when I read that the B.S.A.
  is considering accepting homosexuals as Scout-
  Masters, and in other scout leadership positions.

  Please understand that I have friends and relatives
  who have actively chosen a homosexual orientation,
  and I love them dearly . . . but if they are practicing
  homosexuals, and they become deceitful or seductive,
  or predatory in any way, then I teach my children to
  actively avoid spending time with them alone . . .
  exactly as I teach them to actively avoid any other
  destructive, unwise, or unnatural human behavior.

  Patrick . . . refusing to obey an unconstitutional law does NOT make you a criminal . . . the problem, of course, is that government autocrats will CALL you a criminal, and may even have you arrested . . . one can only hope that enough law-abiding CITIZENS remain who will loudly and publicly defend you and remove the autocrats from office.
