  • Reply to SNOOOP1E. You said, “it’s only when we grasp one thread and pull it that the entire fabric becomes distorted.” Then the erroneous statement: “Not everyone who calls Jesus Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heave but ONLY those who DO the will of Jesus Father Who is in Heaven AND we are justified by what we DO and NOT by Faith Alone.”

The Apostle Paul says,”For there is no distinction, since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, they are now justified by his grace as a GIFT, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3: 23-24)

It is a simple, perfect thread, that is why he has given us the “GIFT” of grace, no work can ever attain a place in heaven. Honey, Jesus did all the work on the cross.

  • I sang the songs in my college choir from this musical over 20 years ago, and it still rings in my heart. This story is supurb and the songs are fantastic. If you have seen an off or on-Broadway show and enjoyed it, you know this will be a treat on the big screen. Bring a tissue box and get ready to applaud for such a great story!

  • Even though this is funny and cringe-worthy at the same time, this also could be the same answer given to most college graduates today!

  • Let’s give Mike Huckabee a big “AMEN!”

The Christian community has allowed the evil atheist poison to erode our society. We don’t blink an eye when we have trash on t.v. instead of good shows anymore. We say it isn’t our business when a U.S. President has sex in the Oval Office and we allow him to stay even though he took advantage of a young woman. We’re not demanding any morals when that leader decides to redefine what “is” is. Polticians get bribed, stuff money in their pockets by K Street, allow unions to dictate law and somehow all get re-elected!

And we allow our young to listen to filth by calling it music by rappers who degrade whites, hispanics and women. We continue to watch late night talk show hosts that insult conservative women polticians.

We don’t get upset when a Christmas manger scene or a Christmas play is overrided by a small group of atheists that really ruins it for everyone. We’re FAR more concerned with women having the “right” to get an abortion and calling it “woman’s rights”, yet cry foul when gov’t. who has to pay for it demands that she gets an ultrasound to remind her that she has another human being inside her.

And last, we re-elect a person who admits that he went to a church for 20 yrs that said 9/11 was our fault and we deserved it. A President that lies about gun smuggling to mexican cartels. A President who accuses his opponent of being responsible for someone’s death with no shred of evidence.

  • You are 100% right.

  • Then how does Andrea Mitchell explain the story in China where a person killed 22 students with a knife? Are we to have knife control or bans too?

Mitchell needs to look a little closer at our society where political correctness runs amok. We can’t have God in any of our public displays or writings. Praying before games or graduations are not to be tolerated because a handful of atheists don’t want to be offended and we wonder how this could happen.

When we are willing to blame a piece of metal and nothing else, then we have big problems.

  • Simple: a coward

  • Unfortunately, it has been outlawed in pretty much in our public society. This is what happens when we have turned our backs to God, we have let evil in.

    So sad.

  • Slammo – The student easily could have graciously turned it down. Why is that so hard to understand? The problem is that liberals have twisted the meaning of a statement that’s not even in the Constitution and act as though it’s gospel.

  • It is baffling that a school district is suspending a teacher for handing a student a Bible. Have we entered the ‘Twilight Zone’? I didn’t know that was equivelant to ‘congress shall make no law establishing a religion.’ The left has totally and deceitfully twisted the meaning of Jefferson’s letter to the Danburry Baptists on what exactly the ‘wall of separation’ is.
