I guess you could call “government replacing the father” a cultural shift.

The 72% out-of-wedlock birth rate that the black community has today is a huge improvement over the 28% rate in 1965.

Maybe if those Middle Eastern countries would institute a $15.00/hr minimum wage?

Don’t forget about Sharyl Attkisson.

Someone could certainly forget their child in the backseat, but not usually for 7 hours. Sometime during the morning you would suddenly remember the child, hopefully not too late.
It seems improbable to me to not have a realization sometime during the day that you left your child in the car.
I saw someone yesterday who said they take their shoes off and put them next to the baby seat whenever they drive with the child in the car. You may forget the child for a minute but you won’t forget to put your shoes back on when you’re leaving the car. Smart.
No, aware parents do not forget children are with them. Don't make this seem OK.
If you have to take your shoes off to remember you are responsible for a child, maybe you should not be responsible for a child.
..."not for 7 hours"... I agree. What stands out to me is he sent his wife a text that day asking about picking up their son........oh may God, our son....panic...run to the car.... To me that is what should have happened. If he really did forget.

Standpipe……..lets entertain the notion that “there’s no law against lying to the public for political advantage.” Is that why you and all your progressive friends want the government to grow bigger and bigger; so you can be lied to constantly and have no recourse?

The “source” is a proven liar.

This whole thing looks like a botched kidnapping to me. Why else would multiple requests for additional security be either denied or ignored? Why else would Obama disappear during the siege……was it because he already knew how this was going to play out? Only problem was, it didn’t play out like it was supposed to because we had our guys fighting back, which infuriated the attackers who were probably told there would be little to no resistance. Then the coverup about a stupid video that was on Youtube which wasn’t seen by anyone in Lybia unless they had highspeed internet…..not a hallmark of war-torn nations mind you. In my mind, this thing is going to get very ugly when the truth gets out.

Why would family members call Democrats? They would call Republicans to complain about investigations, wouldn’t they?

JRook….I am assuming you’re referring to the “WMDs in Iraq” when calling Bush, Cheney, Powell liars. In a court of law my first question to you would be, ” Has Saddam Hussein ever used WMDs in the past? Just curious, how would you respond to that question?

IF? You did hear about the emails, right?

Exactly what I tell everyone I speak to about this subject…..Benghazi was not terrorism…it was a military strike and an act of war…….period. And the United States has all but surrendered.

Verycobaltviolet ……your reply to RadicalforCapitalism is almost as incoherent as Mike Dickinson himself. Well done.

Next time they’ll have voting machines brought in from the Cleveland and Philadelphia areas. Those machines have a proven track record of getting the “correct” results.

And have never existed. Funny, they can dig up a radio call-in show from over 2years ago, but no one yet has produced even one teardrop from the victims’ families.
You got that right. And didn't you love Glenn's "debunking" of Sandy Hook. What a bunch of nonsense that was. Although I like Glenn and generally agree with him on most things, his treatment of 9/11 and Sandy Hook was atrocious. When he gets too close to the full truth, he gets scared.

Jermiad…..you are absolutely correct. The Milgram Obedience experiment confirms that the vast majority of people will simply follow instructions given by someone they perceive to be in authority.

Jen….I think softunderbelly is expressing frustration that we can’t seem to nail down any of the accusations with solid proof. I too would like to see unimpeachable evidence that would hold up in, say……..a Military Court Martial.

Would the certain word be “reason?” One of her favorite phrases was “rational self-interest.”
