  • What a ridiculous example!! Do they really think it’s families of 5 that make $120k/year that aren’t insured?!? If I had to guess it’s mostly unmarried people and or lower-middle class families making less than $60k/year that don’t have insurance either by election or inability to pay for it. Either way, Obamacare isn’t going to be desirable or affordable. They should have called it the Unaffordable Care Act. I’m still waiting for the dumb dumbs who don’t qualify for medicaid to realize this is going to cost them $$!!

  • My daughter has a chronic lung disease, cystic fibrosis, and our doctors highly recommend that she receive the flu vaccine each year and she has to take the shot (no nasal spray). She was vaccinated in October and one December night she started running fever. We can’t take any risk with her as lung infections put her in the hospital so I took her to the pediatrician first thing the next morning. As luck would have it she had the flu. They immediately started her on Tamiflu and she was back to her normal self within a couple days. We felt very blessed that she rebounded so well!!

  • I’m a University of South Carolina alumni and I <3 the Gamecocks!! Michigan had really contained JD Clowney the entire game. This was his only significant tackle. I've been watching him make big hit after big hit all season so this isn't really anything new for this guy. He's a beast!!! I especially liked the way he picked up the football like it was a little nerf ball.
There were many other big hits by big players in the game. I mean, how can you miss Devin Taylor at 6'-8". The Gamecock defense is explosive when they get by the block. You could do a great defensive highlight reel just off this game. DeVonte Holloman and DJ Swearinger also had great hits forcing fumbles but Michigan recovered the ball. Jimmy Legree snagged a interception on Michigan's first drive. Aldrick Fordham, Victor Hampton and Kelcy Quarles all got nice sacks. It was truly a team effort!!

  • How is there no “security breach” when the FBI removed several boxes of “classified” information from her home??????????

  • The Administration has already begun their campaign to completely discredit General Petraeus with this whole sex scandal crap!! This is all being carried out intentionally just the way the Administration wanted. The truth doesn’t matter when Obama is saving face and the media will protect him!! General Petraeus and Allen will undoubtedly be the fall guys for this Benghazi mess!! Obama had no idea (or so he will say)!!

  • It’s insane that 82% of the Counties within Ohio went red for Romney but Obama still wins the State!! Just shows how much power the City folks have over us who live in the suburban/rural areas. Our plight is so different from theirs that it makes sense that we can’t relate to one another. It’s not like they are spending as much on gas as they spend on their mortgage like I do!! I’m sure they would have a different perspective on energy independence if they were.

  • Just head over to the Labor of Bureau and Statistics website to review unemployment numbers (including U-6 Total unemployed, plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force, plus total employed part time for economic reasons, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force) and you’ll see why it makes no sense that the unemployment rate is suddenly 7.8%.

Search for Table A-15 Alternative measures of labor underutilization and see for yourself!!

  • My child has a special health condition that requires a high fat diet. Cutting whole milk out of her diet is a major problem and that combined with a low fat meal could absolutely result in her losing weight! Instead of trying to make a one size fits all plan, the government needs to back off and let parents guide their children’s nutritional choices. I guess we’ll be packing lunches instead of eating from the cafeteria!!

  • I guess they will have to add a mental evaluation to the application for purchasing a gun. Just what America needs is a government liaison assessing our mental capacity . I’m sure that won’t be subjective.

Felon’s are already restricted, by in large, from legally owning or possessing a firearm. I think it’s the “non legal” crowd that they are trying to control with new legislation. Unfortunately, those types don’t usually follow law so it all falls on deaf ears.

  • This is a really common practice although the shells are usually collected via donations. The shells help increase the oyster population as well as improve water quality.
