  Real problem is this has gone all the way to the battlefield, our troops cannot fight back, even with evidence of enemy intentions..running with rocket launcher after rocket hits base for 165th time since May. Apaches are ordered not to fire… I pray everyday this craziness stops and my son comes home safely. After 20 yrs of service, this is how it is now and it is a disgrace for all our military members. What are they dying for?

  I read a comment that said people collecting welfare should not be able to VOTE… Are you kidding… take a look for your state and you will probably find that the three places you can register to vote are:
  1. Registrar of Voters Office
  2. DMV
  3. Welfare Office.

  Well if we hear about an attach on our troops don’t be surprised: The statement below should trouble everyone!

  well they found a car that was towing around a ZPU-4 anti aircraft gun….this is only about 5 miles if that outside the FOB. They recorded this video for 5 minutes. then they lost where it went. do you want me to tell you exactly what they did about it?
  exactly nothing….this thing has 4 23mm barrels on it that can shoot an ungodly amount of **** at us. it is now sitting in our backyard in one of these villages and they have no idea where now.

  As the mother of one currently serving in Afghan I am appauled and mad as hell that our gov’t has abandoned our troops. To hear the horror stories of what our troops are going though each day,the way they are not allowed to protect themselves, they are sitting ducks for the radicals and no one in our gov’t gives a damn. My son said tonight “I never signed a contrct that said I will go defend a country and become a target for them without being able to defend myself” and this man has been in the military foralmost 20 years. I ask everyone to please start calling you Senators and demand our troops get the support of our gov’t? They are there protecting us, now they need our help to protect them. Thank you to those that read this post and those who give a damn!

  I talk to my son everyday and am so saddened by what i hear. How their hands are tied ROE foggy, commanders not commanding. Locals working on the base being investigated for giving coordinates of the inside of base so rockets can have bigger impact. This is not the same military he joined 20 yrs ago. Since he got there in May they have had 140 rocket attacks, explosive vehicles parked outside the base and because they are short handed no one does anything, it detonates and takes out half the base. Since that time they have no water on base, but the rockets keep coming. Time to bring our heroes home, let these ppl fight to the death with their own. Their way of life is not our concern anymore. But our military should be all of our concern. I pray everyday i see that green online notice so i know he`s safe!

  American Airlines handles their complaints like our government does! Had horrible experience with AA, sent them letter, their response was to send me a free ticket. My response tore it in half, sent it back and asked what part of I would never do business with them again didn`t they understand. That was almost 9 years ago. Sorry folks i can`t be bought. You have one chance to make a lasting impression, don`t blow it!

  Listen the number of things that are going on over there with the way our military is being made to fight this war is disgraceful. The rocket attacks daily, they are not able to fight back. They are sitting ducks and they are told to stand down. Maybe we need to send these worthless politicans over there and let them fight the the enemy and bring our loved ones home. No one would give a damn if the politicans came home, but for sure I give a damn whether my son comes home and it is outragous what is going on. But does anyone care NO…. GEE can you say VIET NAM !!!!

  Would disgrace those who protect us everyday. God help us! Stand up and demand
  Action and dignity for our beloved military. If we don’t stand up for them, how can we ask
  Them to stand up for us.
