Why does it have to be religious at all? You are missing the point. It’s an English lesson! Why the need to subliminally interject any beliefs.

This is Common Core – use education as a pretense to indoctrinate. There are examples of English lesson exposing the greatness of Obama and king like power of the Presidency. History lessons rewrite the Bill of Rights “The right to keep and bear certain arms providing they are registered”

But it’s OK since we don’t have Christmas anymore…at most it can be called Winter Break and Dec 25 is a holiday (much like Jan 1)

Wonder how Mom explains half nude billboards, billboards of gay couples, “transgender” bathroom usage at school,

Whenever you can clear a squib with a second shot and still keep 2.5 inch groups at 25 meters you know you’re driving a beast.

I believe the manually basically says if you can find it …shoot it..

Please don’t feed the trolls – it only encourages them and increases their dependency on the nanny state.

#8….but you can go to any bathroom you want if that’s the “gender” you feel you are….you live in a country run by idiots…

So let me get this right….a morbidly obese man (his actions, unless the police sneak into his house every night and ply him with twinkies and big gulps); illegally selling a tax controlled item; refuses to comply (400 lb man swing tree trunk sized arms and acting belligerent) with police and accidentally dies…

= innocent man strangled to death.

I am sorry I missed the part in our founding documents where they spelled out a “social contract.”

    - Contrary to popular opinion nobody owes you anything. Earn it!

p.s. Rich people like Bill Gates are terrible….all he did was create 80,000 jobs with an average salary of $90,000 each. Remember the left loves Bill.

OK you can’t even get that right. Our freedoms are the result of people who cared enough to put their lives in harm’s way 238 years ago.

May I suggest you read the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights – that who inalienable right thing…Government derives it power from the consent of the people. The Constitution enumerates specific powers we, the people, grant to the Government. The Bill of Rights places prohibitions on Government.

I dare say you belief the “our freedoms are the result of laws and policies made by civilians” is the fundamental flaw with a vast majority of America today. You’ve elevated the President to King Status, and expect Government to fix every problem and take care of everybody. You’ve created laws based on what you “feel” should be in the Constitution. When in fact almost every major FUBAR can be traced back to a Government out of control.

When you want the nanny state you get the whole nanny state….liberty and freedom are the price.

It’s hard to get a number on it. But the US now produces about 50% of it’s own oil. Most of what’s left comes from Canada, Mexico and Venezuela. Followed by Saudi, Iraq, and a few others.

    a. What is the landed cost of Saudi oil? Meaning, how much does it cost to put a barrel of oil in a refinery? Compare that with local production. Seems like if it was a $1 cheaper you’d still want to source as much local.

    b. For wells already in place the capital is sunk. What is the economics of hydraulic fracturing. If it cost say $1.5M to fracture a well and you increase production by 80+ barrels per day the project breaks even in a year.

    c. Eventually OPEC will become cash starved and cut production. Even if oil prices don’t return companies will still drill, the technology has to change to match the shifted economics.

  • [2] November 30, 2014 at 10:33pm

Gee…it’s almost as if OPEC didn’t want us to be energy independent. Of course this makes Barry happy too…since it slows domestic fossil fuel production

Let’s stop all the bad talk about pigs…do you know of any other animal that can turn broccoli into delicious bacon?
