  • Egyptian President Morsi calls for the release of the blind sheikh on June 29th, long before the youtube clip was released.

U.S. designated terrorist organization Al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya, an Egyptian Sunni Islamist movement dedicated to an Islamic state, said on August 30th that it would protest in front of the U.S. embassy on 9-11 to demand the release of the “blind sheikh”, Omar Abdel-Rahman, – Eric Trager- The Washington Institute

    Coincidence?

  • @BRKNHRT Take your vile comments somewhere else. I’ve met Callista several times and she has more class in her tiny fingernail than you will ever have.

  • Painting Newt Gingrich as a Progressive because of an FDR comment was Glenn Beck’s EPIC FAIL.

Newt and Callista spent four hours at our 912 meeting during the primaries in Council Bluffs, IA. He is an extremely intelligent and multi layered person that one cannot assess from mere sound bytes. His reference to FDR comes from a military perspective, not a political one. Newt Gingrich’s real passion is military history.

Newt serves as a Member of the Defense Policy Board, and is the longest-serving teacher of the Joint War Fighting course for Major Generals.

He teaches officers from all five services as a Distinguished Visiting Scholar and Professor at the National Defense University and has written several historical fiction books in the lessons of warfare based on accounts of historical battles.

Most superficial minds do not take the time to understand Gingrich. This presidential race would have a completely different energy if he were the nominee instead of the Rino Romney.

  • Razor thin issue… Argument are made that Ft. Hood shooting should have been intervened with this type of activity. Obviously, the feds are very selective as to who they deem a threat.

    And the other side…
First amendment is there ESPECIALLY to protect unpopular speech. This was a Marine posting song lyrics and venting his thoughts.

We should be thankful of one thing…. The federal government has tipped its hand as to which way their enforcement falls. Buckle up is right.

  • There Should Be No Exceptions To Abortions! – When you give “exceptions” you completely compromise your principles. You also surrender the argument. It’s like letting the nose of the camel under the tent. You are either pro life, or pro homicide, period.

Killing a baby in the womb is Homicide, no ifs ands or buts. Representative Akin struggled with, and blew this one.

In the case of rape or incest:
The wounds from rape last far longer than the incident itself, emotionally and physically. One of the possible results from rape is pregnancy. Killing a baby and adding another victim at the mother’s hands is not the solution. A broken hip from a car accident as a result of a drunken driver may take years to heal. Nine months to carry a child is unfortunately one of the possible results of that assault, and far less painful. Adoption is an option, raising the child is another. Killing that child is nothing less than homicide.

    Threatens the mother’s life?
Again, the term “abortion” is used to desensitize. You are not aborting a rocket launch or battle maneuver, you are killing a child, it is Homicide. In the case of saving a mother’s life, it is still Homicide, though justifiable. It is just as justifiable as a mother protecting her life from a teenager that is threatening her with a gun or a knife. The mother has the right to preserve her life if she chooses. It is still, none the less, homicide and should be treated as such.

  • There should be NO EXCEPTIONS to “abortions”. Killing a baby in the womb is HOMOCIDE- NO IF ANDS OR BUTS.

  • Been in HVAC for 18 years, many of these comments and the article are way off.
Cieling fans do help lower your AC bill, if they are drawing air upward atmedium speed. Cold air is denser, it wants to drop, bring the air up. Evaporative cooling from a fan blowing on you only works if you are not in a contained, mechanically cooled space, fans actually add heat to a room via the motor.

Putting the fan in the “on” position at your thermostat also blends air more, keeping it from striating, Blowers normally run about as much as a ceiling fan with a couple lights on, but your compressor starts less often. Do not close rooms off, that hot air you isolate still has to come back to the air handler/furnace to be cooled, whether you are ever in the room or not. Do not set back your thermostat more that 4 degrees, the main job of air conditioning is to remove humidity. If it goes all day without running, an air conditioner will struggle to remove that moisture and drop temps, most of the “coolness” goes down the drain as condensation.

  • Not sure which is more shameful, the ignorant/ so called ” coverage” of the past weekend by network “news” agencies, or the trolls that continue to pollute this site.
