  I HATED girl scouts. It was just a popularity club. We didn’t do anything fun. My brothers in the boy scouts did all kinds of fun things. I would have LOVED to be in the boy scouts, but why ruin it for them. Why ruin a perfectly good organization that kids love to suit my own agenda?

  My brother lives in Ok City and tells me the tornado formed right overtop of his apartment building while he watched. Fortunately, his building wasn’t touched. Not so fortunate for the other people though. What an awful thing.

  I’ve only ever spent a day in Canada but was taught the Canadian nat’l anthem in elementary school. I still remember most of the words.

  I still remember a marriage advice special on the 700 Club that I watched as a teenager. It was a panel made up of three men and Dr Robertson….not even one woman. One of the men said that women should stay with men who physically abuse them. I learned all I needed to know then about his views on marriage.

  I avoid them like the plague. A cop will ruin your life or kill you and go home and sleep like a baby that night. The good ones don’t last. They are destroyed for going against other cops.

  I’m still amazed that any Christian would hang around after this guy tried to predict the day of the second coming. I’d be headed for the door. But this happens over and over again. I still believe this will happen during my lifetime, but I’m not even going to begin to predict the actual day.
