I homeschool using the K12 curriculum but it is a public school essentially with a lot of online and some offline. There are standards. I emailed my son’s teacher and told her some of my concerns regarding Commom Core and some other concerns I have about education without representation. She said I that I am bascially living in fear. HUH? I am researching other programs and contemplating setting up my own school where I have total control over the curriculum.
