  The term Start-up gives it away. This is the brainchild of some liberal hoping to get the tax payers to subsidize the company through grants and contracts. This “development” is just the thing the big spenders in D.C. and Kalifornia will jump at because it fits seamlessly into their agenda.

  He isn’t. Too much of our spending benefits the lobbyists and PACs that help to elect people like Boehner. He isn’t about to turn around and bite the hands that feed him – just like Obama.

  They might as well do away with the debt limit. Republicans are too afraid for their political futures to do the right thing, and Obama will NEVER agree to cut anything except through accounting tricks that only appear to be cuts but are really nothing more than realignments. In fact, Republicans don’t really want to cut anything either, because it means angering constituencies and lobbyists. Until the ability of special interest groups on both sides to hold elections for ransom is eliminated, NOTHING will get changed and this problem will go on in perpetuity. The people who figured out how to vote themselves free money are not going to give up that privilege without a fight.

  He doesn’t have to turn Blacks against Whites – they were already against Whites. And Latinos would do well to not align themselves with Blacks, or they will be sucked down the drain of hopeless self annihilation too. Nearly every aspect of Black culture is mired with crime, corruption, violence, self deprecation, and the denial of any responsibility for the situation within their own communities. And if people want to label me a racist for merely telling the truth, then I’ll proudly wear the label. Look at the crime rates, the poverty rates, the unemployment rates, the decay of urban centers, the disintegration of the Black family, and the constant yammering over the last 50 years about how it’s all Whitey’s fault in spite of nearly every social program imaginable since 1964 being created by Whites to specifically give Blacks every opportunity and support they could ever need.

  I’m getting tired of reading about “the story that will bring down the Obama White House for good!” If there’s a dog behind all this barking, let it off the chain so it can hunt – otherwise this is all a distraction to keep our eyes on the right hand so we never see what the left hand is doing. If people really know damning things that will end Obama, they need to start singing, rather than putting out cryptic “teasers” about it and never following up. Every day since he was elected the first time I’ve heard so-called Conservative voices say that the final shoe is about to drop, and yet here we are, still waiting for something to finally stick to the POS Marxist Occupier in the White House. I’m just kind of sick of it all. Put up, or shut up. Credibility is on the line. Our future is on the line.

  Sounds like a by-the-book statutory rape case. Why is it being turned into a crusade about gay rights? Cases like this illustrate why so many sex laws are moronic, but still – the law is the law, one of the girls is a minor, and the parents have every right to do what they feel is best to “protect” their child. I don’t need to agree with it – until the law is changed, it is what it is. The 15 year old will hopefully grow out of the “I’m gay/bi, but only really to get more attention from boys” phase, and the other girl will hopefully get to attend college, get this out of her system, and by sophomore year she’ll be just another well-used frat mattress.

  Agreed. It sounds like what was done here was done well within the system of due process and was in line with legitimate prerogatives of the DOJ. This is the shiny object in the magician’s hand that distracts us from the woman climbing out of the box before the swords go in.

But I agree with you, and I don’t respect anyone who chooses to serve the interests of the State over the interests of the People, no matter how much of a “good, decent” image the traitor has.

  I’m not defending Beck, but knowing a little about ecommerce and IT, I would wager a guess that those “trackers” are getting information for internal use, such as measuring sight activity, presence trends, market penetration, et. al., in order to correctly price advertising space and tailor story feeds. It’s not an uncommon practice, and is used by MOST revenue-seeking web sites. If you choose to not visit sights that use those technologies, then you are walling yourself off from 99% of the Internet. Just use tools that effectively block the tracking software. Simple.
