  Awwww, sniffle. Poor Ms Costello, sniffle sniffle. She met up with some disadvantaged urban yutes who were doing some ‘Apple Picking’.

  However, the REAL shame of it all is not that she lost her iPhoney. Nope. After all that’s ‘only property which can be replaced’, but that the urban yutes didn’t stick around so they could ‘talk it out first’. Or have time for a group hug and sing a chorus of Kumbaya.

  Then everything would have been hunky-dory. She would have calmly explained to them that what they were doing was wrong, really really wrong. And they would have understood that too and they would have given her phone back and ‘turned their lives around’ right there and then, by golly. Instead of running off with the goods they would have run to the nearest School and enrolled in some Honor Classes..

  But as it goes she still has her purse which they tried to steal too (uh.. why didn’t she ‘share’ it with them when they tried to snatch it?),.and she wasn’t raped and murdered — or, vise-versa. Which these disadvantaged urban yutes have been known to do for a WHOLE LOT LESS than the cost of a stinking iPhone!.

  Personally I don’t care what Rahm’s pets in Springfield do, His boys and girls can play all the games they want. That includes the game that dimwit IL AG, Lisa Madigan, is playing for ‘daddy’ – House speaker, Mike Madigan (demoncRAT – Hades). She now wants SCOTUS to extend the 7th Circuit’s June 9th deadline. Like 180 days wasn’t enough time, to get a Shall Issue CCW Law passed. And as far as in Crook County, Chi and State Atty Anita Alvarez saying the 7th Circuit’s ruling doesn’t apply in Cook or Chi, I say she better study up on some of that law thingy stuff. There’s a 1983 SCOTUS decision that says otherwise and will make anyone she prosecutes a very very rich person.

  So come June 10th I’m carrying in my loverly IL. I have my legal FOID Card and have passed more than one IL State Police background check, plus a couple by the FBI and ATF. Ergo, ‘I’m legal’ and that’s that – I’m cocked, locked and ready to rock, doc!

  Right now my biggest issue is deciding which gun to carry and in what position. I’m kinda leaning with my 1911 w/ OWB in Cross-draw position. It’s very comfortable when sitting and that holster makes it sit like a shoulder rig only with the **** canted to strong side. It’s very accessible and conceals nicely too. (I always carried my Colt Det Special cross-draw so maybe I’m just used to that?)

  I can only think of one reason why they would remove-alter pics of minorities from the original photo — so they weren’t accused of being racist: ‘See! These Racists have pictures of BLACKS that they’re implying are voting twice’.

  Now that’s not likely why it was altered. But it would make sense if the original photo was used. We know the ******** use any excuse to throw down the Race Card, no matter how absurd. Like when Chrissy Matthews said the word ‘Chicago’ was a racist code word (roflmao).

  It’s because of BS like this (cough) *law* that I have zero sympathy for NY, NYC, or any of the asshats that live there. As such, I will not give a single dime to any charity for those people when some disaster happens there — be it ‘man made’ or natural like ‘super storm’ Sandy.

  F them all and the nice little dictatorship they created.
  (I’d rather croak before I went there. Even if it was the only place on earth that had some magical cure I needed.)

  I) “THIS is what *your* using” and then again, “*your* complaining about”
  That should be you’re, the contraction for ‘you are’. Not your, the possessive case of you.

  II) “Maybe they *wont* notice you.”
  a) Adjective: (of a person) In the habit of doing something; accustomed.
  b) Noun: One’s customary behavior in a particular situation: “Constance, as was her wont, left early”
  c) Verb: Make or be or become accustomed.
  As such that ‘wont’ should be won’t, the contraction for ‘will not’.

  III) Why do you hate the punctuation mark, ‘period’? All of your sentences end with exclamation marks. That is, all except for the last one and that should have a question mark.

  IV) What’s up with the all ellipses? None are grammatically correct. Or do you just like typing dots?
  Wait! I’ve got it. You saw those used in the New York Times by Mo Dowd, now didn’t you!

  Anywho, speaking of “blithering idiots!” you should know bunky as you see one in the mirror each day. But you are correct one point, “there is NO hope for America” — because people like you keep breeding.

  @BannedByHuffpo: As to the ‘Assault Weapon’ definitions you list and your comment on the Grenade Launcher, fyi most SKS semiautomatic RIFLES made by old Soviet Bloc Countries come with one attached. They also come with a Bayonet Lug — and HORRORS!! — a Bayonet. The SKS RIFLE is used by hunters and makes an excellent Brush Gun for Deer Hunting. It’s also bought by ATF Licensed Collectors. The SKS also makes an excellent Self Defense Rifle in case of Zombie Attacks or an ‘over zealous’ government – some will argue that’s one in the same. Oh and the SKS is actually one of the rare RIFLES in common use that actually uses a ‘Clip’.

  On Bayonet Lugs, the majority if not all C&R BOLT ACTION rifles have one, like my 8mm Mauser – good for 99% of Game in the lower 48: From Deer to Elk & Black Bear, oh and Zombies (I may need my Bayonet too?!?). Anyway a Bolt Action Rifle is hardly an Assault Weapon..

  And that evil ‘pistol grip’. Well a good majority Shotguns used from Trap & Skeet to Upland Bird Hunting has one. Check any manufacturer for the stock’s spec’s and you’ll see ‘pistol grip’. But the thing is it ain’t what one thinks seeing those words. Yet by ‘definition’ these shotguns would be ‘Assault Weapons’. I don’t think so.

  The folding or collapsible stock — that’s already been addressed by posters why they’re needed. And a flash suppressor can be used for Hunting. Or, hiding from Zombies.

  But seriously, when did *it* happen that all of a sudden a sovereign nation needed some foreigner’s approval to defend itself when it’s being attacked? Also, if said ‘National Self-Defense Approval’ is required just who gets to write that ‘permission slip’ and where does said person (or person’s unknown) get the power and authority to do so in the first place?

  And for that matter what if this sovereign nation that’s under attack just goes ahead and defends itself anyway — without having this ‘all powerful’ permission slip? Do they get grounded, don’t get to have ice cream after dinner, and sent to bed early with no TV?
