  • This is an Overton Window ploy designed to fail. It is to get people to accept Common Core as not so bad. That is, move the window a little.

  • Hey, Bill,

Aren’t you supposed to be smarter than conservatives?

Here’s a suggestion. If you’re going to bash Ayn Rand on national TV, maybe you should learn how to pronounce her name–especially if you want to say it several times like you did?

After all, her name has only been in the mainstream since the 1940′s.

It’s Ayn as in mine, not Ann as in can, you doofus…

Any libertarian worth his salt knows that.

Disagree with her? OK. But you haven’t even read her.

    Idiot,,,

  • This will be waaaaaaaaay over Todd’s and Klein’s head, but we’re already doing it the progressive way (whether Republican or Democrat).

Maybe it’s not over their heads and they know what they are doing. Evil or stupid? I’m in doubt on this.

    Anyway, here’s how it works.

You keep the slavery, but change the name.

Start calling slavery “good citizenship” and you’re done.

    Nudge, nudge, nudge…

I wonder when exit visas are going to be proposed here for the USA…

  • Oh, come on. Don’t get your undergarments all in a tizzy.

    There’s a question of time.

Romney was bait and switch, but against Obama, there wasn’t much of a choice.

    Now we have time.

    That seems kinda obvious, no?

And don’t come with Ron Paul, etc. Rush, Levin, and all the other conservatives in name and deed will never go the Ron Paul route, except for fiscally and, maybe, in the social realm (kicking and screaming, but I believe they will go). They’ve got very loyal voters for small government.

And if they are anything like me, they are pretty fed up with the choice between bait and switch and Looney Toones.

  • Shoot.

I’m fine with a third party starting where conservatism stands for a concept and not just spin. And I’m fine if Rush and all those voters migrated to it. too.

Let the RINOS flounder with a gutted Republican Party or join the Democrats where they belong.

  • I like it when O’Reilly gets mad. Especially when he gets mad about something I’m mad about.

He’s got the biggest audience on cable news. Getting mad will probably have some righteous repercussions.

People like it when someone they admire goes off and they tend to imitate him.

Underneath he is helping to sink Obama’s reelection chances. Maybe not because he wants to, but that’s what he’s doing. Getting mad helped that along. And that’s such a good thing…

  • I can’t speak for others, but I do know my problem with pink slime. It has nothing to do with nutritional value. I have no problem eating it when I need to cut expenses. But I want to choose what I put in my body and when.

Beef Products Inc. had convinced everyone, from fast food companies to supermarkets, to put pink slime in normal ground beef without telling the consumer. They just let people think they were getting normal cuts of beef ground up while sneaking this stuff in.

It ticks me off when they do that. I think it ticked off a lot of other people, too.

Beef Products Inc. learned a hard lesson about what happens when you deceive customers and get found out.

Now it’s crying to the courts.

    Boo hoo.

  • Are dumb blonde jokes allowed?

    Well… I won’t go there. I’ll just stay with a groaner.

Suzanne was trying to break the ICE with her subordinates by raising the Barr.

  • I really hope Sarah one day becomes President or Vice.

The beast to conquer for this to happen is hoity-toity snobbism. Many intelligent people with this cancer in their hearts allow the mainstream press to say any old thing and they keep silent because it reinforces the story of their personal vanity. The tragedy is they damn well know better. This is precisely the crack in character where Progressive power-mongers enter and feed their sweet poison to intellectuals.

Sarah is highly intelligent. She is not a dingbat. She has character of the finest kind. And she loves America with all her heart.

This woman is well aware of the limits of power–which means she does not bring her church into her public policy affairs. Once, back in her Wasilla government days, while being a member of of a church that preached abstinence, she fought for the local bars to stay open at night–because it was THEIR right to live THEIR lives the way THEY wanted to live them, not hers. This is the mark of a person who knows and practices freedom fundamentals, not just gives lip service to them. And that was from the beginning.

There is a new story of Sarah that needs to be spread in the mainstream–the true story–to undo the revisionist story the MSM pumped and the cowards who knew the real story, but kept quiet, didn’t refute.

  • Shouting?

    Did anyone hear shouting?

I just watched the video and heard two guys talking at the same time over a disagreement. But no shouting. Or did I miss something?

I lean conservative and I do a full-tilt on the small government side, but I also know shouting when I hear it. I find it irritating to expect a shouting match from the spin in the article (say, like Bill O’Reilly did with Barney Frank), and then get some lightweight bickering in a normal tone of voice.

I expect this tabloid kind of bait-and-switch spin from Media Matters, but not The Blaze.

    Come on, people…
