And we care 0 about Bristol too. The feeling is mutual. Sarah must be so proud of her. You can take the trash out of the trailer park but you can’t take the trailer out of the trash.

Very strange concert venue. I’d hate to play that one! One second you’re playing a C aug 9th chord and then the next second you don’t know your name and you’re drooling. No thanks – I’ll skip that gig!
according to one report he had no idea about them dating

I agree. I do not know if the beast was going to die. Maybe, maybe not. I have no idea. But I do know if I was the person to kill a giraffe I would not pose beside it and smile. That’s a bad look on the lady and she’s playing CYA by doing a Ted Nugent – saying the animal is 100% being used for good just to take the heat off of her.
It may have been a mercy killing but that doesn’t give you an excuse to pose and smile by the beast. It’s dumb.
Ming, rest assured the beast was going to die – circle-of-life kinda thing.
She was offered a gift – of nature, and of service to others -and I am comfortable her explanation is likely true.
I’m also pretty sure the permit for that animal wasn’t inexpensive and there is typically no relief for older animals. The permit system there is a management tool just like a hunting license and harvest limits are here in the States. Every cent of the permit fee goes to support conservation where money is scarce.
So, despite the histrionics of some, I congratulate her for what she did and cheer her for celebrating her opportunity, she earned it.
Umm… yes it does.
The grin is not “i killed this dude” the grin is “I just fed an African village!" They were about to take this guy out because he was disbanded from his herd and old and not reproducing anyhow and he would have been torn apart by lions or hyenas or whatever else in a matter of days because they actually KNOW what happens to disbanded giraffes, SO they decided to preserve him and use the meat and bones and also get $20000 from a westerner just for letting her pull the trigger instead. They would have killed it anyway for these reasons but cmon there was a westerner here who paid $20000 to pull the trigger plus bought the tribe’s guide services and helped us with other things…
I could go on but if you have read this far and still don’t understand, then you’re lost.
The Africans do not tolerate poaching. They literally worship these animals. This animal “hunt” was sold for a reason, and the evidence says it is what they said – he was disbanded and about to die anyhow.
So, if you’re going to be illogically pissed off at someone, go be pissed off at the Africans who decided this giraffe be killed. I’m sure they will explain to you the circle of life and how much they respect these animals, etc, which INCLUDES harvesting their bodies for food, jewelery, tools, etc.

Can’t view the youtube link – says it’s blocked in my country (USA) on copyright grounds. WTF?!?
So $20 in 1955 is equivalent to $175 now!
A family of 4 in 1955 would pay the equivalent of $700 (in 2015 dollars)!
The prices have kept up with the economy and inflation. It’s just that alot of people’s pay has not increased with inflation like ticket prices have.

@bikerr – I’ll spell it correctly when you learn to spell ‘biker’ with one ‘r’ and shave that Taliban beard.

Displacedsoutherner – your post is really ignorant. I vote for principles not for who I think will win against a democrat. Those of us who vote for principles don’t’ have to hold our nose when we vote. It’s your kind of thinking that has got us where we are – by voting for the lesser of 2 evils.
I see you’re not satisfied with the condition we are in – so why do YOU keep voting the way YOU do? You have YOURSELF to blame. Look in the mirror and YOU grow up!

I won’t choose one dicktater over another dicktater just because there’s an ‘R’ after his name.

You can’t say he would’ve fixed the wars and killed the radicals. Too many unknowns there. The presidency isn’t a dictator job and so to assume Mitt would’ve done all that single-handedly is silly.
It could not be any worse with dictator Romney, than what we have now with dictator Obama. Most likely dictator Romney would oversee the country more business like.
I won't choose one dicktater over another dicktater just because there's an 'R' after his name.
The war in Iraq was over. Even job Biden admitted that in Feb 2010 when he said on the Larry King show that one of the greatest accomplishment of his administration was a stable Iraq with a representative government. All Mitt would have to do is make sure that this people handled the transition properly.
Only possibility of success would be if we had a constant, massive presence for 100 years or more. If you don’t understand that, then you just don’t understand the absurd mentality of people in that part of the world.
Handled the transition properly? Yeah right. No transition on this side of the twenty second century would have had any success.
But hey, you and Biden are on the same page… so congrats?
