McConnell is not a true member of the Republican party and therefore not a colleague beyond being a senator. He is to blame for creating the discord among Republicans.

She might have enable the youtube option to stablize the video. It only seems to drift when he is moving which could be throwing off the software..

I am tempted more and more everyday to hang a Confederate flag outside my home in protest instead of the US flag with all the BS that is being spread about it.

You are mistaking strength of conviction for bigotry and hard-heartedness.

I have seen something similar in Montana once. There was a semi-regular pulsing wave of energy that was traveling north to south in the field of auroras. It would make the aurora brighten temporarily when it passed. I tuned to an empty space on the AM band and could hear the energy wave as it passed. If had to guess the speed of the wave it would have been somewhere between 2-3,000 MPH.

How dare that serf step foot inside the castle of our betters! We must make an example of him to put him in his place and deter any other uppity subject who might think of doing the same!

This punishment clearly doesn’t fit the crime. There was no intent harm anyone.

The only thing this lawsuit should be netting her is an orange jumpsuit and time away from the general population for attempted fraud.

There is no hate crime here. At worst it was cultural elitism, but this is our country, our culture, our language, and if you want to live here instead of your country of origin, you had better respect that. If you want or cared about what America has to offer, you need to learn the common language period. I do agree this man overreacted, however, I also understand his anger and why he spoke out so strongly. I, like many Americans, are tired of immigrants refusing to assimilate and tell us we should instead learn their language of birth. The immigrants who founded this nation knew they must be united by a common language and culture to form a strong nation and to take part in the American dream. They did what it took to fit in and succeed. The current generation of immigrants don’t seem to understand this concept. It doesn’t help that our govertment gives them so much financial assistance creating a sense of entitlement. Most countries do not allow a person to immigrate unless they have the financial resources to do so or a job waiting.

The prices of course will vary but the big chain theaters seem to be the worst. My local small town theater only charges $7.50 for a large popcorn and a large 32 oz drink. Still a lot of profit, but much more reasonable. Since price affects whether a consumer buys their extras or not at all, you would think they would shoot to sell more product at a lower price than to sell less for way too much. I will pay $7.50 for my local deal, but at a major chain who wants $15 or or more for the same combo, they will not get my money beyond the cost of the movie ticket.

Americans are not gun crazy, they are simply focused on keeping their constitutional rights. It’s the ban all guns crowd that is going crazy over guns.

Maybe if the gay activists weren’t targeting and suing businesses over refusal to participate in gay marriage in any capacity, this law wouldn’t have been needed. Why do business at a place you know you are unwanted when there are plenty others who will gladly take your money? The only persecution I see is being done by the gays. This law was just the logical response to it.

I used to work in a restaurant and this does happen. The insect was likely in the produce concealed by the leafy layers. Despite washing lettuce, insects can be missed. I know from first hand experience after making my own lunch on the job and nearly biting into one myself. Although the thought of eating one is disgusting, it wouldn’t be harmful. This wasn’t negligence on the restaurant owner’s part at all. These things just happen and are outside the control of the business.

Amtrak is the slowest and most expensive way to travel. Why should we continue to subsidize this terrible service?

The local cops need to find this vehicle and ticket the driver for reckless driving, driving too fast in a turn lane, driving too fast for the road conditions, and endangering legally crossing pedestrians. It shouldn’t be hard to identify the vehicle. I noticed not only did they have a cover on the grill, the license plate was obscured and I don’t think this was due to the low resolution of the video was. So look for a car that fits this description.

Do they mean when they say to “give Tesla a run for their money” that they plan to make a product that is competitively priced and doesn’t cost 2-3 times what it should?

I would love to be in that courtroom seeing her trying to convince the judge why should get anything from the divorce. I imagine the judge will give her an earful. How can someone be so heartless toward their own child?

I think this was intentional. I know of atheists who deliberatly say dog instead of god.

The iphone sounded better outside of the box and sounded about as loud. Other phone makers don’t need this kind of gimmick to sound good as they built louder more full ranged speakers that aren’t enclosed in such a way to muzzle the amount of sound coming out like Apple does. Apple is so concerned about clean lines and appearance that they make no allowances for the physics of how speakers work best forcing the sound from a tiny slot instead of an open speaker grill.

Pull down flat screens will eventually be reality. Engineers have already designed working bendable organic LED displays. Cost and scaling up size is the only real hurdle for that. If you have enough money, you could conceivably buy a large HD screen that can be rolled up for easy trasport or to store out of view in the next few years. BBTF also missed all the young people with their heads craned over and eyes glued to their tablets and smartphones thumbing away messages.
