This is simply ridiculous, some bureaucrat decides, incorrectly, to police the lunches of schoolchildren and charges them if they erroneously find a deficiency. I wonder if they are paid by the cafeteria? lol

Obama is going to change the law? Just by saying so? It seems to me the law was passed by the congress, so any modifications to the law need congressional approval. And if it can be changed just by a reintrepretation, what good is passing any law at all, and why do we need congress?
This action by the Obama administration is simply a ploy, a red herring. The Contraception Mandate in Obamacare will be pulled back or partially reversed. Religious organizations will be provided a path to exemption from the requirement, likely via a waiver process. Clearly this mandate is unconstitutional. The administration will use this reversal for political gain. This Mandate and the uproar over it certainly provides a distraction from an appallingly poor economy, failed federal investments in solar energy, disasterous environmental policies, mismangaement, waste, corruption, and a DOJ scandal that should be front page news every day. And of course when the POTUS reverses the requirement, he will take credit for it, blame congress for including it in the bill, portray himself as the hero that saved the religious community from the mandate. He may also use it to enhance the governmental version of health insurance and push toward a single payer solution. It’s politics, Chicago style. Come up with an outrageous requirement, scare the populace with it, then pull back just a bit, and let the sense of relief and partial victory hid the fact that the mandate is still in effect, with just a few hoops to pass through for exemption, for the time being, until those exemptions can be eliminated. Watch and wait. The voluntary pullback will thwart the constitutional challenges leaving the basic requirement in place to rise again in the future.
Its an interesting premise that this was just a political stunt but a very risky one which did little to engender himself with those in the church, of anything it drew the lines of distinction between his beliefs and theirs. I don't think their going to be fooled by his manuever to show himself as the saviour (no pun) in this matter. However I believe you right in that he underestimated them on this and their response. He'll try again later when we are not looking, like when we Invade Syria or Iran.

Newt made the point. BIckering and bashing is not the way to the White House.
I sure hope he gets a prominent spot in the next Republican Adminsitration.
I love how he's always introduced as the Pulitzer prize winner. He's just another over educated clueless moron with an agenda.
Well let's see Obama and everyone that works in the withe house
Um maybe all of the Democrats in the congress

Kind of interesting, and a confirmation of what I have long suspected, a further left bias than I had imagined. I took the PQ test on his site ( Link: http://timgroseclose.com/calculate-your-pq/ ) and I scored a 17%, with 0 being hard right. I wonder if the MSM will coment on this?

We have a similar problem here in Michigan, and these animals get respect here. They are cunning and pretty smart. and have little fear of man. Get within 40-50 yards of a feeding boar, even in a all-terrain vehicle, and expect to see them paw and do a short charge, get closer and they will come at you. Since they like to forage over fields (and dumps, lol) I have helped out a friend up north a few times. At about 60 yards, my 30.06 will drop one with a head shot. Our last trip we took out three of them, field dressed them, and sent samples to the state for testing. all were safe, and all were absolutely delicious. And if someone wants to bounty them in Michigan, that’s fine with me.

I have never watch Uygur, but have caught a vid now and then. He generally seemed somewhat credible, although a bit abrasive, but then abrasive is the new Probing Interview. As for MSNBC, why is this news? It certainly has been evident they parrot the WH talking points for the last 2 1/2 years. This is their market, just as FOX has the conservative market and plays to their audience.
The days of Lowell Thomas and Edward R. Murrow seem to be long gone, much to our loss.

If she wants to participate on the Cheer Team, then there are support functions she could conceivably help with, when my daughters were cheerleaders, many of us parents were saddled with support tasks that I would have certainly relinquished to anyone at all. Donation collection, 50-50 raffles, selling programs, selling logo gear, etc., all were part of cheerleading (all the program students participated) and were much needed. And she can chant the cheers as well as anyone else from where ever she sits, on field or off field. Give her a uniform and let her have at it. Put a flag banner on a pole on the back of the chair that reads “Go Teamname” and let her hustle around the stadium. She does not even need permission to do that!

This article is so slanted I am surprised that the Blaze picked it up without a fact check. First,Detroit does not have an EFM, the Detroit Public Schools have an EFM, and badly needed, IMHO. The first DPS EFM was appointed by Dem Governor Granholm. HIs name was Robert Bobb and he did an admirable job revealing a mismanaged and corrupt DPS system. Do a search, he found millions in corruption and waste. The layoff story and the priatization of the schools are slanted liberal distortionsof what is really happening. Charter schools are being encouraged for good reeasons, and the layoffs were as a results of a requirement in a highly bloated union contract. Benton Harbor has been in deep financial difficulties for years caused by corruption, cronyism, and crooks. The elected officals no more served their constituency than themselves.
The EFM is subject to the Governor and has specific duties and restrictions. They are only appointed after extensive attempts to encourage the localities to work things out, after several warnings before they are appointed and then appointed under a clear mandate. It is not an overnight action, it takes months for this to happen and at any time all it takes to avoid the EFM appointment is a workout of the issues. It is truly the action of last resort to restore financial stability to failing bankrupt entities. And keep in mind, this was all started by DEMOCRATIC Governor Jennifer Granholm, whose failed polices engendered one of the greatest decli

Say goodbye and good riddance to his campaign, he is not ready for even the second spot, although I think he would make a great appointment to the HHS Department.

Reminds me of an old song….
Is that all there is, is that all there is
If that’s all there is my friends, then let’s keep dancing
Let’s break out the booze and have a ball
If that’s all there is

I am not sure the Internet pay model will work at this time. I do hope that some content will be made available at the Blaze as I will somewhat miss GB on FOX. But paying? I need more information about what will be available. How about a Free Trial month? Let us see what you have to offer.
Quality content will be worth something, and I need to understand more about the On-Demand aspects. And also, if I am paying for the service, I presume there will be NO annoying commercials!!!!!!!! (underline previous three words, please)
