  • I saw this in a report I received……..I am here in Egypt on a two-week program to help farmers. Talking with the Egyptians, they would like to drop a bomb on these weirdos as much as we would, they don’t like what these religious crazy people are doing to their country. They hated Mubarek, but they think Morsi will not control these crazy extremists and it scares them. After seeing the beard of these whacked out crazies, I know who to avoid now!

  • DollyLA, Actually it isn’t farmers that are paid not to farm, it is landowners……it is called the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) and it is a TERRIBLE waste of taxpayer money. It has caused rural areas to be devastated, it has caused farmers to go out of business and it has caused pasture land to skyrocket………..you are 100% right though……why are taxpayers footing the bill for this bullcrap? Probably because they don’t know about it. I know a lot of land has been bought and paid for with your tax dollars and wildlife enthusiats not only get paid for not cropping, but they also get money for selling hunting rights to property. Very disturbing, taxpayers need to know what is going on. This program has also destroyed rural American……..when farmers don’t need feed, seed, fertilizer, etc. what happens to those areas?? They disappear. CRP, is a terrible program that needs to go.

  • Women are already in combat roles…………or did I imagine them driving MRAPs outside the wire in Iraq, being part of intelligence teams, being part of civil affairs teams, etc. Sorry, I’m a pretty staunch conservative, but women are already putting themselves at risk in combat zones, so why not make it official? Women think differently than men and I think it will actually strenghthen some teams, espcially civil affairs, intel (especially as many cultures will not allow women to talk with male soliders) and to be honest, police and military training in cultures where men and women can’t interact. Men are great at some things not so great at others and women are the same way, I think making it offical will be a good thing………….that being said, getting rid of DADT, NOT A GOOD decision. 99% of my military friends said it was a horrible decision.

  • I wouldn’t mind a couple of Abrams tanks….might be fun to take down the interstate during rush hour!

  • I love how the article states that the Sweddish guy bascially beat the piss out of the Arab, who was probably much younger. After working with Muslims, believe me, they are sickend at this behavior. The problem is, if they are vocal opponents, their lives are in danger, so that is why many “muslims” are no longer practicing their faith. I’m telling you folks, Chritianity will dominate Iran some day, normal people don’t like what has happend to their religion and they are converting to Christianity.

  • Women are already in combat folks……..we have women fighter pilots, heliocopter pilots, we have women attached to civil affirs teams, women attached to special forces, we have women that go out with combat teams in Afghanistan so that they can gather intel from the Afghani women, they are already in harms way! While in Iraq, women were driving MRAPs, Humvees, in gunner turrets, they are already serving in combat roles folks, this just makes it “official”. I saw it with my own eyes………women will keep doing the jobs they are already doing and it will not make our military weaker. If a woman wants to be a Navy Seal then I say go for it,if she can pass the same tests. I know as a fact that I was in much better shape than many of the military men on the base I was on, I can say with certainty that it will be OK. Isreal does it with their military, why shouldn’t the US make it official? Maybe there should be a woman’s Navy Seal team? Especially in the Middle East folks, our ability to work and gather intel is dependent on women being able to interact with women natives…….they will not share (due to culture) with men things that can save lives. Just something to think about.

  • I think one of the things that needs to be discussed and I know it isn’t is “anchor babies”. If you are here illegally and pop out a kid that kid should not be an automatic American citizen……..don’t have a problem if the parents are here LEGALLY and have a child, but no illegal should be able to pop out a baby and the baby is an automatic citizen of the US. All these jerks that talk about Amendment two and what the founding fathers meant and didn’t mean by it………do they also feel the same way about birthright citizenship when it pertains to illegals having kids here? I doubt it very much. We need to add an amendment to our consitution that ends birthright citizenship to babies that are born to illegals, that is only fair.

  • So far I like what I see……….he is definately the kind of man we need in the Senate. A good conservative! I wish he were from my state……….unfortunately I am stuck with a Rhino Republican and an Obama shadow woman (Air Clair McCaskill) because stupid Akin couldn’t keep his mouth shut. BTW, I did not vote for Akin in the primary. I am sure Senator Scott’s family is so proud of him and I hope he inspires other minorities to really live the American dream that Martin Luther King wanted…………live free without a big bloated gov’t that only keeps minorities down.

  • The jerk………as a white woman, I completly agree with you! My gender screwed up this election and I’m embarrassed! “War on Women” my rear………..I was in Iraq for 18 months, I saw the war on women.

  • Actually, there is one thing in Islamic countries that sometimes I agree with. “Tit for tat”……..maybe the boys that did the deed need to have the same thing happen to them. I know it isn’t “Christian” but even the Old Testament says “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth” when it comes to crimes against other humans. As a victim of sexual assalt, myself, this girl will be a mess for a long time. She made some bad decisions but she certainly didn’t deserve this. I’m sorry folks but this is what happens, when parents stop being parents or there are no parents or family around. Thank God I have an awesome family!
