  Dershowitz is completely wrong about the speed limit analogy. The valid comparison is what one does with the object. For example, someone can’t drive a certain speed in certain areas with a car; that same person can’t kill anyone with a gun in any area (unless in self-defense). What Dershowitz doesn’t understand is there are already laws similar to speed limits for guns.
