  It’s real…. I’ve had it happen to me in the past. It was a young quail, run out of air and not real bright.

  Did you know they hold their breath while they fly? Most game birds do, so they only fly a few yards and glide…..

  Hit a rooster Pheasant once on my motorcycle… ouch… right in the chest. I was bruised for a month!
