  • I am so discouraged sometimes by the catty remarks made by some of the posters here. Is it not possible to just say ‘Well good for her.” All the nasty remarks are just so unnecessary. I fully expect this stuff from liberals, but not from the average poster on this site. Who’s business is it what her marital situation is. Whether she’s divorced, widowed or whatever. That’s really not the point of the story. Overweight? Really? Good grief! She may have a few extra pounds, but look around, my friend. Virtually ALL average women have a few extra pounds. She looks great, she has been gifted with a great opportunity, and I, for one, wish her nothing but the best.

  • Such a difficult decision to make…I was glad to hear Glenn say this decision will be for Victor and not for the family he leaves behind. I am in the pet industry, and so many times I see people allowing their pets to endure such suffering, because they just can’t let go. It becomes all about them, and not what is actually best for the pet. The last loving thing anyone can do for their beloved pet is to allow them to go with dignity and respect. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, Glenn, and know that you have been an important part of Victors life just as he has been an important part of yours.

  • I am so disappointed in such nasty remarks…this is a great space, considering it is just over 400 sq. ft. Ingenious use of space and materials. Did you not watch the walk through? The shower thing is so unique. Had you bothered to watch, you would have clearly seen the shower on the inside as well. The outdoor option is just that….an option. There is nothing wrong with downsizing, (or, as Glenn has encouraged before, to ‘live within your means’) and when you do, hopefully it will be with such
a well thought out and beautiful plan as this place has.

  • Gotta say I, too, disagree with Glenn on this one. I was so surprised to hear this exchange this morning on the radio show. This instructor has the right to teach who he wants to. I’m with him on this one.

  • HaHaHa!!!!

  • My career is in an industry where gay people are everywhere, including my brother. EVERY gay person I have ever discussed these things with (including said brother) have told me that they have been gay for as long as they can remember, even as little kids. I can ASSURE you, my brother was not subject to any kind of abuse. Homosexual behaviour is also seen in the animal kingdom, i.e., dolphins, monkeys, etc. So, were they abused as well? It is a simple matter of too much of one hormone or not enough of another. While I am certainly put off by the schools bringing peoples’ sex lives to bulletin boards, I think this teacher should have used a little discretion in her postings, knowing that the world would see it eventually. But to lose her job? That’s a little too far
