Wow, relax. Can you not just appreciate beautiful music played for a somber occasion?
    Wow, just wow…
I don’t think it was intended to accomplish freedom from terrorism and crazy radicals,
I think it was a tribute to the victims of such.
Sometimes I am so disappointed in the nasty comments on articles here, that it becomes
discouraging to even read the comments. Especially on stories like this one.

After being honked at , flipped off, and other choice reactions, I was relieved when the city
FINALLY put a sign up that read “Maintain two lanes to point of merge”. It seemed that I was
the only one who realized this early on as to the most efficient way to move through a merge.
It would be great if they could put those signs up every time.

I am embarrassed by the sophomoric comments on this story. Irregardless of the mayhem, the cops were WAY out of line dragging and older naked woman out into the hallway for everyone to gawk at. Where is the common decency that the commenters on this site should be held to. I have been with the blaze since day one, and it saddens me to see the disgusting, rude and irrelevant postings that are on every story now. If you are so ignorant that you can’t figure out what she meant when she said “10 years for husband to see naked”, then you are just out of touch with reality. The comment section on this site has declined into a slurry of ignorance, ridicule and is no better than the nasty mouthed liberals on every lefty site. As a constitutional conservative libertarian, I am embarrassed by those who should be my allies. You should all be ashamed.

For CHRISSAKE’S people! Lighten the f up!!! Have you never ever played a joke on your kids growing up? If not, then what a bunch of tight laced, debbie downers you all are. Gimme a break!
How dare you call into question the parenting of this child. Really?? You are all showing that you are just as ridiculous as the libtards out there. Kickagrandma should be ASHAMED of accusing these parents
of “abusing this child”. It makes me embarrassed to be a conservative if this is the kind of drivel you come up with. Just ridiculous.

I donated and have every intention of seeing this when it comes out. The truth can be an ugly thing.
I just wish there wasn’t the comparison to Kavorkian…He just assisted those who could make their own choice. Innocent babies have no choice.

Count me among the disappointed in Glenn’s stand on this issue. I was shocked to hear him say this
stuff today. I have been a loyal supporter for many years now, and decided that I would cancel my
sub to this site. Turns out there’s no partial refund, so I’ll have access anyway, but won’t renew again.
I don’t know what is going on with him these days, seems to be kind of like we listeners are in church, with all the preaching going on. Pat and Stu are no better. Their show used to be fun and entertaining, but now it seems like it’s just an avenue to demean and belittle other people who don’t
necessarily share their opinions. It’s as if a mushroom cloud of ” I’m so much better than you poor peons out there” has erupted over this entire show. Makes me very sad.

Where did it say this guy was the owner of the dog. If I am not mistaken, it said the owner can’t
be found. Maybe this guy found the dog wandering around and took it to where it would be taken
care of. The dogs coat wasn’t shaved off till after it was at the clinic. So, it probably had a heavy,
thick coat to begin with. For so many Blaze posters to claim to be Christian, there sure are alot of condemnations being typed out, when the actual FACTS of this are really not known. And yeah, Al, no one utters a word to the woman walking into Planned Parenthood to slaughter her unborn.

There really are conservatives here in Austin, Tea Party too. And as a conservative, I pretty much
don’t concern myself with other people’s lifestyles. Yes, lots of the loony left here,
but not everyone here is worthy of being determined to be “The cancer in Texas”.
The plastic bag ban has been annoying, but paper isn’t that bad. It really could be worse.
    I believe that many
cities are jumping on this bandwagon, so get ready for the plastic bag ban coming soon to a city near you.

ObiWan…read closely, don’t just skim over it. The “conservative activist group” referred to is James O’Keefe’s group.
“the video released by a conservative activist group showing supporters of his Democratic opponent, Wendy Davis, seemingly mocking his disability.”
And yes, it would appear that the left wing, is indeed, scum, and nothing less…

I happen to live in Austin, and I’m here to tell you, this is a VERY liberal city. I am very hopeful that this candidate is less than successful with her campaign. Having her and her kind running this state will do a lot to turn “Austin into Washington DC”. Ugh..makes me a little nauseous just thinking about it!

What in the world are you talking about? This girl is an average sized woman. Far from “fat”.
If you like skeletal anorexic bags of bones, then good for you. But to try and insult this girl by
saying this is pathetic. Oh, and add to that your knowledgeable assumption that she is ‘trash’.
Wow, what a miserable person you must be.

Good grief! It’s a dog having fun. Goggles? Really? Dogs are very resilient. They ride in the back of pickups and hang their heads out car windows. Some even hunt through high grass and shrubs, swim in marshy waters and lakes, and yes, try to catch hail. It’s not golf ball sized..don’t get as to why so many posters think it’s a problem.
I think it’s safe to say that most “responsible pet owners” often allow their pets to have a good time without knee pads, goggles or helmets. sheesh….

I am so discouraged sometimes by the catty remarks made by some of the posters here. Is it not possible to just say ‘Well good for her.” All the nasty remarks are just so unnecessary. I fully expect this stuff from liberals, but not from the average poster on this site. Who’s business is it what her marital situation is. Whether she’s divorced, widowed or whatever. That’s really not the point of the story. Overweight? Really? Good grief! She may have a few extra pounds, but look around, my friend. Virtually ALL average women have a few extra pounds. She looks great, she has been gifted with a great opportunity, and I, for one, wish her nothing but the best.

Such a difficult decision to make…I was glad to hear Glenn say this decision will be for Victor and not for the family he leaves behind. I am in the pet industry, and so many times I see people allowing their pets to endure such suffering, because they just can’t let go. It becomes all about them, and not what is actually best for the pet. The last loving thing anyone can do for their beloved pet is to allow them to go with dignity and respect. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, Glenn, and know that you have been an important part of Victors life just as he has been an important part of yours.

I am so disappointed in such nasty remarks…this is a great space, considering it is just over 400 sq. ft. Ingenious use of space and materials. Did you not watch the walk through? The shower thing is so unique. Had you bothered to watch, you would have clearly seen the shower on the inside as well. The outdoor option is just that….an option. There is nothing wrong with downsizing, (or, as Glenn has encouraged before, to ‘live within your means’) and when you do, hopefully it will be with such
a well thought out and beautiful plan as this place has.

Gotta say I, too, disagree with Glenn on this one. I was so surprised to hear this exchange this morning on the radio show. This instructor has the right to teach who he wants to. I’m with him on this one.

My career is in an industry where gay people are everywhere, including my brother. EVERY gay person I have ever discussed these things with (including said brother) have told me that they have been gay for as long as they can remember, even as little kids. I can ASSURE you, my brother was not subject to any kind of abuse. Homosexual behaviour is also seen in the animal kingdom, i.e., dolphins, monkeys, etc. So, were they abused as well? It is a simple matter of too much of one hormone or not enough of another. While I am certainly put off by the schools bringing peoples’ sex lives to bulletin boards, I think this teacher should have used a little discretion in her postings, knowing that the world would see it eventually. But to lose her job? That’s a little too far
