So Farmgirl, it so happens that I am the legal guardian of my elderly and disabled mother. For your information, the funds and assets of the patients are exhausted before Medicaid kicks in to help pay for Nursing home care. My mom gets to keep $50 a month to help pay for things like shampoo and soap and socks. Every asset she had went to pay for her care or to a court appointed attourney. This is true for every person in a nursing home. There was no nursing home insurance for her. I believe that we ate a cr*p society if we don’t help theost vulnerable and needy of our citizens first. We don’t need to be giving away our haRd earNed dollars in foreign aid or keep able bodied people on welfare. My stance is that money is worthless as is the rest of everything material without people. Even the most vulnerable and needy person has infinterested value. They help us understand what truly is the most important thin on the planet and that is people.

So farmgirl307, Is a citizen of the United States who worked, paid taxes, had children who worked and paid taxes not worthy of us the US taxpayer to help them live out to their natural death? Are we only of value as we can prove that we contribute right now to society? And what do you think will happen to you as you get there in age? The baby boomers are all now retiring and getting at that age and we killed 55 million unborn children who would have contributed to the tax base to help pay for the baby boomer generation retiring. Will it come to pass like in Europe that they “off” old people by euthanasia because it is cheaper? Are people less important than money?

the girl’s parents were stripped of their rights and Cassandra became property of the state. The teenager was removed from her mother and forcibly admitted into a hospital, where she is, according to court documents, guarded 24 hours a day. She isn’t allowed to leave, to use her cell phone, or to reject any medical procedure the doctors decide to conduct. Just before Christmas, against her will, surgeons operated on her, installing a port in her chest that allows the chemo chemicals to enter her body.”

So this sweet girl will be forced to undergo extremely difficult treatment for a deadly disease that does not guarantee that she will survive. The treatment itself can and does cause dire or deadly results. She is forced to do this without the love and support of her parents and family? This is far worse then how we treat terrorists at GITMO.

This reminded me of this scripture concerning The Day of the Lord. It describes how in that day people will push for peace, like having cops with no guns, but it never happens.

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 1 Thessalonians 5

If only one of these citizens on the roof had an “assult rifle” and picked off one or two of these demons.
Chris Kyle, we miss you and your skills.

People are sick and tired of this c.r.a.p under this administration and want to get back to morals and standards. Blinknight it is because of Christian values that you have rights. Just move to atheist China, Marxist Russia or Islamist Saudia Arabia and see how many “rights” a gay or atheist has.

Klinbano, What? Pharisee? Maybe it is the other way around. Louis Giglio spoke in a sermon about how God had led him several years ago to focus on the youth and college age students. This is how the conferences started and apparently there is a big need because the conferences have been great successes. It is always a great faith in God when Passion 268 a year in advance. They have to reserve large stadiums and have faith that they will sell enough tickets and get enough volunteers. Not to mention the charities that they set a goal for and always exceed. If it is not God that brings ot all together then I don’t know what. So what is your beef? This is a Christian event meant to bring believers and unbelievers together to worship God with excellent artists and hear from prominent Bible teachers. This is not to replace church or Bible study. You have grown up in the Lord. But you began with spiritual baby food and attended these conferences and apparently it didn’t damage your walk with the Lord. This is for 18 to 25 year olds.

Klibano,You know God made a lowly fisherman, a tax collector, and just plain everyday men His disciples. Just who do you think you are deciding who God shall use to spread His gospel? We all need to humble ourselves and not blaspheme the Holy Spirit.

  • January 4, 2015 at 10:03pm

And Kilbano, I am a little confused by what you mean by Christian Orthodoxy. What do you mean?

  • January 4, 2015 at 10:02pm

Well then Kilbano if you didn’t like or agree why did you attend so many times?

  • January 4, 2015 at 11:57am

Again Klibano, Have you ever attended a Passion Conference and heard the messages? I have and I have found them very cohesive. So the question really is why do people criticize and complain about things which they have no knowledge?

  • [1] January 3, 2015 at 2:14pm

By the way, Louise. The Christian rock bands that you say you can’t hear the words that are in the Passion are led by Chris Tomlin, one of the most prolific writers of worship music in the world today. You may have even sung along with his music in church or in your car.

  • [3] January 3, 2015 at 1:43am

Louise, I appreciate that you want people to know the truth and hear from the Bible. What makes you think the Passion Conference does not do that? I think people just like to complain about things they don’t know anything about. We all also need to come to the Biblical understanding that WE don’t save anyone Christ does. There are as many ways God brings people to Christ as there are people and we are predestined to. So maybe your way doesn’t work on everybody.

  • [8] January 2, 2015 at 5:54pm

Louise, love you too! This isn’t for you, it is for 18-25 year olds. And old hymns aren’t for them. Passion goes all over the world and did three conferences in Africa last year. People didn’t like Jesus either. So lighten up. Young people are coming to the Lord.

  • [2] January 2, 2015 at 5:39pm

Chip you have no idea what you are talking about!!!!!!!

  • [18] January 2, 2015 at 5:26pm

Louise this is my church and I worked last year at Passion. In this world today kids are drawn in by the lights and music but they also get great Christian messages by the likes of Frances Chan, Louie Giglio, Beth Moore, Jon Piper etc. The worship is amazing and it is all about Jesus and not who is on the stage. God raises up all kinds of churches for different people. Have you ever heard 20,000 people all praying at once? It is the most profound sound and must be a bit like the thunderous prayer in Heaven. God bless.

Jinxe you are right on. Let me point out to those who thank the founders for your freedom and ignore God. Those founders are dead and long gone. Just who gives you freedom now? Is it the culture, the government? Ignorance abounds in the USA now. It is a product of the progressive anti-Christian schools. If your freedom comes by men then men can take it away. You all are very small minded individuals who cannot think themselves out of a paper bag.

Nich, Smart people do deny climate change. Do you deny that there was at least one Ice age and a warm up afterward? So was man responsible for the Ice age and the subsequent warm up? I remember back in the 1970′s scientists thought we were headed into another ice age and then Al Gore said we were all going to die from global warming and now it is climate change. So Chicken Little, if we are headed toward a cataclysmic climate event just what exactly are you going to do about it?

This is not about the unions, it is about indoctrination and control. They want to make our children drones for the NWO.
