  • Thank You Prince Harry. That meant a lot to THIS Patriot!

Does anyone know what’s on the heels of his shoes… looks like spurs???? (please, please… just the military/uniform meaning… just don’t want to see comments in reference to his shenanigans… Thanks!)

  • An Okie once told me that “y’all” is singular… and “all y’all” is plural?

    “Where all y’all goin’?”

Doesn’t that just roll off the tongue with a perfect grammatical sound??

  • Seem that if Obama was ANY where, AWAKE, in the White House, this guy would have openly answered the questioned. I have doubted that he might have just gone to bed… but this interview makes me think… at some fairly early point… he really DID just go to bed!!! Incredible! Horrible!!

I believe Panetta did testify that some folks (other than him), were giving Obama updates… but I guess it must have not lasted long, or this guy would have given SOME details in Obama’s defense! Sickening!

  • We MUST go after the people that reveal classified information!! Like WHO revealed SEAL Team 6 was responsible for killing bin Laden?? OH… wait a minute… that was Obama… no Biden… Obama and Biden??
We’d better get their phone records… from all phones in the White House… and his blackberry… Air Force One’s… and do it secretly… so as not to compromise our investigation…

  • Did ANY one listen to Rand’s filibuster?? Over and OVER again he made his position clear! You obviously did not listen to it if you think he is flip flopped. He did leave himself open to misinterpretation with his $50-gun-liquor store comment… but cleared it up immediately with his press release.

Are you falling prey here to taking out an incredibly great 2016 candidate? STOP IT!!

Please tell me when those two were cruising down the streets of Boston throwing bombs out their car… a VERY imminent threat… it would not have been a good idea to involve a drone to take out the threat, sooner than later.
Does it make you feel oh-so-much-better that the older brother was exchanging fire TEN FEET apart from the cop when he ran out of ammunition and was only THEN able to be taken down????!!!!!

  • I wrote a letter to John McCain recently, fussing at him for criticizing Rand Paul’s filibuster regarding drone use within our borders. In his response he states: “When an American citizen joins Al-Qaeda or another foreign terrorist organization and takes up arms against our country and our Constitution, U.S. law holds that such a person can be designated an enemy combatant, and that the President is within his proper rights and authorities to take necessary action, including lethal action, to defend the nation.”

It seemed to me that Rand Paul agreed with this position (but only when a person is in the act of being combative when he is on US soil) during his filibuster remarks regarding a drone strike. He was in disagreement with drones being used against someone who meets this definition when they are NOT being combative… i.e. sitting at home eating breakfast.” Would he consider this guy an “enemy combatant?”
So… IF this guy is an enemy combatant, would Libertarian/Conservative Rand Paul agree that it would be OK (per Andrew McCarthy) to INITIALLY declare this guy an enemy combatant to be able to question him… and later mirandize him and put him in the federal justice system, satisfying Beck’s (and my) concern for the rights of American citizens??

  • Megyn Kelly interviewed Andrew McCarthy April 16th, he cautions (4:44) against using the public safety exception because circuits are different and some may determine that if you have been rendered defenseless by the police, the exception does not apply.
He stated “I think that if the person fits the definition of enemy combatant, that is Al Qaida affiliate, or someone that we are legitimately at war with, that President Obama could order the assignation of if the person was in Yemen, that person belongs in the military system where we could interrogate him without Miranda and where he gets a military commission trial. Even if you disagree with me about that, there is no reason that he couldn’t be designated an enemy combatant until we are done interrogating him, and then you could put him back in the criminal justice system. But there is no reason you need to give a guy Miranda 6 hours after you capture him as if he was a bank robber.”
He does not seem to be specifically talking about this guy. Unclear to me after listening… if this guy could possibly be declared an enemy combatant INITIALLY. It does seem very clear that using the public safety exemption could be very problematic in some circuits. Did they already review this circuit’s opinion carefully?

  • Come ON, people!!!
This is an incredibly cute light hearted video!
Let’s leave out the part that makes us realize… Meredith may have watched too many episodes of Golden Girls… and just let us hear the words to the song… and not think of a somewhat demeaning theme song connection. OK?
I LOVE it!… has a refreshingly hopeful theme to it… very clever… Really… very wise!
    Lighten up, everyone!

[heh, heh... Can't you kind of see it like… An overly involved Mother contemplating how a family get together is going to go at her house between fighting siblings... and "mistakenly," along with the invitation comes a video like this... suggesting: "See? See... how things COULD go during the visit? Children, children... let's play nice. See how GREAT things could be? Why all the misunderstanding fellas?! For the sake of EVERYone... please get along. Make your Mother happy!!"] OK… Golden Girls does come to mind… now.

  • In my early speeding days… I began to realize… if the speed limit was 50, I wanted to go 60. If it was 30, I wanted to go 40. There was no wisdom in my need to go faster than the speed limit!

If the 30 zone would be changed to 40, THEN I would want to go 50, right?! YOU do that… We ALL do it. And the point… the goal of the game… you get to your destination 4 minutes earlier? WHY?? If I were disciplined to leave on time… then why my NEED to break the law to arrive somewhere 4 minutes earlier than necessary?? No need, none. It’s just a game we all play.

And the tailgating intimidates the person trying to abide by the law. Why should I make them miserable? There are SO MANY other cases where we appreciate having law abiding citizens around us. Why speed?? Quit it!!

Victory over self. Ahhhh… makes life so good. Relax! Leave the house a few minutes early. ENJOY your time on the road. You’ll have no fear when a cop appears in your rear view mirror!! Awesome!
If the folks driving around you don’t seem to be able to figure that out… and are inches off your rear bumper… then feel the joy when you near those well marked camera zones… that do the figuring out part for them… and get them off your bumper. Hooray!! Where can we get some more of those cameras to help those that don’t get it… yet??!!
And I am getting off line right now so I don’t see all the flack I will catch… might check tomorrow :o)

  • Senator Rubio drove home the point that even if you strongly disagreed with Senator Paul, and even if you strongly supported this administration, that Congress is entitled to definitive written answers from the Executive Branch… and this process that Senator Paul used, should be supported by ALL Senators (that means YOU too). I am hoping Senator Rubio, might get tired of all that humidity in Florida. The desert climate is so wonderful… and we here in Arizona might have a knowledgeable Patriot to represent us… instead of one who embarrasses us… from the Senate floor.

Mitch McConnell, John Thune, Democrat Ron Wyden, and many other Senators and Congressional Representatives supported Senator Paul. Does that classify them according to you as “wacko birds on the right” also?

Please review your staffing so they are honestly informing you of the occurrences in Washington D.C. that happen when you are out to dinner with the President.
    Sincerely,

62 yrs old, NOT an impressionable libertarian kid
