  Oh good grief LOCKED………..” It seems that all the COMMENTS here (indeed, even the basis of the article itself) comes from a mistaken idea of what the separation of church and state means. I don’t know if it’s ignorance on the part of those involved or a persecution complex.”

  You specifically mentioned the comments here and yes many of us shared the same thoughts regarding this woman, what she did, the FFRF and the ACLU. Don’t try to tell me you were just talking about people directly involved with the tornado. What you perceive as ignorance is just some facing the reality that when prayer, school, teachers and children are the subject the separation of church and state zealots come in flocks. Some said it in rueful jest but I can assure you that the majority of those who post on the Blaze and the teacher in question are not ignorant.

  I’m not going to spend the night arguing with you Locked though I am quite sure you would like to talk legalities til the cows come home. Many people are willing to discuss these legalities but they have been discussed to death and I am familiar with all of them.

  LOCKED………….If the teacher didn’t feel like she broke a rule why would she have said…….” I did that teacher thing we’re probably not supposed to do? I prayed, and I prayed out loud.”

  Even in that kind of emergency, even after she and those children were safe, that is how she phrased it. That was the thing she knew is a giant no no in America now, she prayed out loud in front of the children.

  As far as your remark about people, me, being ignorant or having a persecution complex, I find you to be one of the most condescending people to post comments on the Blaze.

  I agree with you PILGRIM249……….I never call them gay. Gay is a perfectly good word usurped to describe a deviant act and lifestyle. I call them homosexuals, that is what they are.
