  • I remember one episode of Glenn’s program where Rabbi Lapin asked Penn Gillette whether the world would be a better place if all the Muslims in the world converted to evangelical Christianity: to which he correctly answered yes.

Mrs. Muller said she felt “called” to do this: now what if, by her testimony and her actions, one Muslim converts, or one radical sees the light and repents? “It is not the healthy who need the doctor, but the sick.” Matt. 9:12

Seeing that the alternative burial plot was Arlington National Cemetery (which would be truly sacrilegious), I admire this woman’s courage and love. She also has chosen to be “numbered with the transgressors,” much as John Adams was when he defended the British in court after the (first) Boston Massacre. Moral of the story: “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” John 15:12

  • G. Washington’s Rules of Civility apply today: “Do not be hasty to believe flying reports to the disparagement of any.”

  • Amen.
12 ¶…O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. (Isaiah 3)
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and those that are led of [these rulers] are destroyed. (Isaiah 9)

I would exhort all of you to pray for the safety of our people, our government, and our military, and to beseech God to continue to reveal the whole truth of the evil that has been happening in our nation. Prayer is one of the few, but most important, weapons we have against evil.

  • This is why 1.) YOU are the only first responder you can trust your life to, and 2.), as renowned firearms instructor Massad Ayoob says, “make sure you tell them the crime is ‘in progress.’ “

  • I would listen to anyone who speaks by the Holy Spirit; since God’s angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost, I would listen to one if he spoke.

  • Acts 16
“16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 1 8And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.”
Now if God inspired Paul to cast out even a spirit of divination which spoke truth, what does that teach us? Answer: to close our ears to any spirit which is not the Holy Ghost, and to no one who speaks by any other spirit. And this man does not even have a testimony that Jesus is the Christ. Enter at the Gate; those going in any other way are not authorized of God.

  • I love how the archaeologists try to explain away the Starving Time through coincidental “climate change.” Not to say other factors weren’t involved, but the main cause of the horrors of that awful winter is called the “common-store system” — a.k.a. Socialism. It took Captain John Smith and co. establishing free enterprise that largely saved Jamestown. As Smith quoted from 1 Thess., “He that will not work shall not eat.” Amen.

  • Most people would agree that 16 should be the lowest legally and morally acceptable age for getting married. Above that, the right age to get married is when you are led by the Lord to do so (and also with what kind of person to get married). Marriages fail because charity, or the love of God, is left out; but if charity is present between two worthy, mature individuals, then why wait? We are only hurting our children by morally tolerating a culture that glorifies “partying till you’re 30.” In my opinion, by the time you can live without Mama and Papa, you should be responsible enough to take care of your own family. Genesis 2:24.

  • Dear Caring Neighbor:

NRA Members like myself are trained to be responsible in the storage and use of firearms; rest assured my guns will remain in good hands. If anyone contributes to a “safe Christian neighborhood,” it is a responsible marksman. As a Christian, I know that God’s “guidance” is to protect and provide for my family; I shall therefore retain the weapons for defending them. “But if anyone provide not for his own [family], …he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1 Tim. 5:8) Our security trumps your prejudice.

    Sincerely,
    Your logical, armed neighbor.

    “Speak for yourself,” and
“Be my guest.” Survival of the fittest.
