How to tell if you are a liberal. You are given money for claiming to be offended or some kind of victim or have made it possible for others to collect a paycheck by doing so.

Reminds me of a niece living in SF with husband. She is very much against owning guns, but then said, “Of course, my husband owns one.” She is fortunate to have married a take charge real man kind of guy who is willing to protect his family, whatever the cost.

A Presbyterian all my life, I did leave this denomination years ago due to their secular teachings and politically correct leanings. It’s a shame really. Mom was a deacon for years In our home church where I grew up and she was buried from that Presbyterian church. I have fond memories of visiting the church while she was still alive, having lunch with the church ladies, and visiting members who at that time were over 100 years of age. It’s in a Mayberry RFD small town. I long for the old church.

Romney didn’t fail. Americans did – not only in election of Obama, but allowing the fraud that placed Obama in office to begin with.

If a parent is lucky, their children give them signs in life that allows the parent to know the child is going to be just fine, thank you. This was one of those signs and the sweet little boy is going to be just fine in life.

Thank you. War is hell and many of the men from my generation came home from war with soul scars. However, the only way to win a war is to destroy the enemy. Know that we are fighting a brutal foe and must act accordingly. Americans are not naturally a brutal people, but when it’s us or them, wipe “them” off the face of the earth. WWII was scorched earth. Just do it.
My Ace is due to the teachers I’ve been fortunate enough to have during my lifetime. I am 70.

Uh-oh. The woman is God’s creation. To knowingly act in ways not in alignment with God’s laws is foolhardy at the least and of infinite consequence at the most.

He has a point. Sorry, for those of you not living in the real world, but to be a success in business, you must live it and that means working 50 to 60 hours per week-forever and always. There’s no time off for dance recitals – find a dance company that holds recitals in the evenings. There’s no time off for a sick kid – find a sick child care hosted by a hospital. Sorry, but that is reality and I’m shocked at how much employees expect their employers to put up with.
Some women are fine giving up family for career; those women earn as much as the men. A number of those women are perfectly happy with their life choices and have no regrets.
Some women who tried the career first route are spending tens of thousands, even over a hundred thousand $, trying to have kids late in life. There are people who say biology isn't destiny... but it does matter, whether they like it or not.
Other women put family first, and made choices like staying home to care for a sick kid or going to a piano recital instead of staying late to work on a report. Most women want kids at some point in their lives, soon or late. Either way they will struggle with tradeoffs in time and energy that will impact their careers.
You can say it isn't fair that women have to choose. Why do human beings have to choose anything? You want other people to make hard choices, but don't always recognize that everyone makes choices, and other people can struggle with theirs too.
Caring for your family is taking care of the continuation of your civilization, connecting you to the future in a fundamental way. History is made by the people who get born. The way they are raised is the difference between a pack of feral gang bangers and a bunch of Habitat for Humanity volunteers. Being a MOM matters. Real feminism would value the choices real women make, not the choices other people want them to make.

Don’t believe it. TV “news” sells Could Be, Should Be, Would Haves at an alarming rate. Got to fill that 24 hour news cycle. When America’s financial, political, and infrastructure fails, Americans will help each other. I refuse to believe otherwise or act otherwise.

Christians are supposed to be persecuted by society. Their churches are supposed to become infected with humanism. These things are a part of Biblical prophecy. And I believe whole heartedly we are living end times prophecy now. In a sense, man always has been, but now; well, now the signs of Christ’s return are everywhere. Live in this world, but be not of it.

I love animals. But, I think this is really funny; we did something similar in biology when we were given our own dead cats to dissect. I learned a lot through cutting up a kitty. The kids above are being kids and I find no fault. I don’t believe Miss Manner covers how to treat a dead cat in biology class.

There are none so blind as a black racist and our universities and public education is full of them. Shame on them.

Your post makes me laugh this morning. Trust me, Obozo, my opinion or insight is not really all that important here and besides, what do I think I am-important? Come on, Obozo, we have to get over ourselves. The folks at The Blaze are doing the best they can.
Oh, how I wish Christ would come again . . . soon!!
If he is, by the Grace of God, we'll be in heaven soon.
If he's not, what does that tell you about your views on Catholicism, about those who planted fear in your heart about Jesus' Church, and what will you do with those views that have been proven wrong? Get rid of them and Come Home where you can receive the Eucharist, I hope!

Thank you Blaze for a Mother’s Day story. So many sites have not mentioned Mother’s Day, only the horrors of the times. Sorry, I don’t care who got shot today, I care who got born.

Thank you for this article. The expression of clarity of the mind about living a true life is wonderful to hear. It’s not about lifestyle, now, is it?
