Boy I’m tired of the opposition telling US that pay is out of line…..

Then I want the companies that are Democratic/Progressive contributors to start living the dream they purport to US and start paying all their employees $25/Hr…. top to bottom…. let’s start with a small experimental company…

    Like Costco.

Ms. Paltrow… I like your acting; very good… and keep that up.

But when it comes to world affairs, power grabs, and equal pay you may want to re-examine your thinking.

No insults here but I ask one simple question:
Is there any one person in history, when given such power, that all the citizenry under their “dominion” has flourished and had Equal Protection under the Law during their reign?

  • [17] October 10, 2014 at 6:03pm

I Agree. I’ll go even further to say why have we not given a no travel/no fly order to all airlines and close the borders?

Why are we accepting patients from the infection zone?

Why are we allowing travelers back into the US?

Why is there not a quarantine zone?

The CDC panic’s about an Influenza outbreak… but is casual about Ebola? What give??

But no! The FAA gives a no fly order to goto Israel but keeps flying to the quarantine zone… without a care in the world.

The world is truly backwards now….. and our Government’s inaction to a multitude of actions/issues proves they’re incapable of doing their primary, top-line duty… to protect the Citizens of the United States.

I wonder if they’re George Sorros sponsored or motivators – Progressives did say they want Texas.

  • August 16, 2014 at 5:28pm

Mr. Dawkins…. first, look at all the “extremist” events that have happened…. I think you’ll find that moderate religious or even deep believers in their respective religions are not the perp’s in many or all of the events you proport have or are going to occur. Most people when seeking within their religion are searching for a balance… not imbalance… or extremism.

Second, your congregating together is a form of worship… whatever that may be.

Third, Christians are not chasing you down the street; I certainly won’t.

Forth, Atheism & Evolutionism, in discussion wants everyone to sit down, shut up, and say that we’re right – LISTEN TO ME!! Well, you have your theories, and Christians, or any other Religion, have there’s. I think if we are to have a Doctrine of Fairness [cough, cough] then the theory of Intelligent Design should be taught side by side…. and let the students decide. The debate should and must continue.

Fifth, you ask people to accept your point of view with passion, are others not allowed to have the same passion concerning their beliefs or point of view.

Sixth, aren’t you a “moderate” Atheist?

  • [1] August 8, 2014 at 6:58am

They have to show on the surface that they’re doing something…. but really nothing will get done…. and that’s a shame.

  • August 8, 2014 at 6:56am

They’ll never see the poshness of Danbury or any other – Its not the Rule of Law anymore its the Rule of Circumstance or Situation… of Men.

More than likely, they will get a raise, a higher position, and find more ways to waste our money, sell US out or short…. the olde Potomac Two-Step.

  • [3] August 8, 2014 at 6:52am

Come on – the Government not have a backup server system…..

Then what the H – E – DOUBLE HOT TOOTHPICKS is that huge NSA Server Facility, the largest in the world, that we paid for by the way, doing out there – washing its tights?!

    No backups… ANYWHERE….. my behind!!!

If they wanted some emails any one of us citizens… they would have them on the desk in a heartbeat.

Congress, Mr Issa, I’ll pay for a flight to Salt Lake…. go get the emails. The emails are saved on 12 different networks at least….

The new school homework excuse of the 21st:

A lot of people just want a price and you bury those costs into the price. If customers/clients could only see the list of charges businesses have to put up with and listed them on every bill, receipt, invoice…. most people would react and say just what they did,” what the blank are you doing?!”

They should be thankful they don’t have an Obamacare line item, or Workmens Comp, or Entitlement Reimbursements Fee… and on and on.

I had a gas station place a $0.35 cent fee on my bill each time I paid for gas to cover the cost of processing my visa/debit card. I was shocked to see it but paid it because I knew the processors were raising their rates and in order to keep their current employees and standard ops… they had to do something; that was their way to inform people…. BUSINESS AIN’T FREE.

Ms. Warren and her “patriotic” economics plan of business must stay, must pay and sign this “contract” all for the sake of the worker and securing the economy is all backwards. Having the Business or idea or stepping out with your own capital makes jobs possible… if people will buy what you sell. Hopefully, you’re not regulated, taxed or feed out of business. 40% Tax rate for corporations… and you think the Legal Accountants won’t use the system to save the company and take profits offshore? These Socialist nutjobs in congress and the WH are all but insuring companies stay offshore – especially if you offer a “contract” to stay…

    Yeah!! Then there’s the border!!!!

Good distraction The Man has to serve his purposes.

  • [1] August 8, 2014 at 6:15am

Such a humanitarian The Man is….. When we deem it necessary…. what a guy, what a pal, such condescension…. I bet Ms. Powers at the UN cheered that those 50K people were corralled onto that mountain.

Send them food & water…. whilst they wait to be slaughtered like sheep in a dead-ended valley?! Oh that’s brilliant!! The US is so cool-headed now.

We want out of conflict but we keep sticking our noses in the muck & mire one toe at a time – yeah, kind of think no one is going to respect that. Is John Paul Jones in the house; someone needs to talk to this guy?!

Help these people – YES!!!! Stand with Israel – YES & YES!!!!! But how’s about we pull back and wait because the real conflict has yet to show its vicious head from the shadows.

If we don’t get our financial house in order, like misplacing $618B for starters, we will have no sovereignty, and when we try and sit at the table, someone will just walk over and hand US our hat and coat and bid US gooday.

We’ll send humanitarian aid… we approve of airstrikes “when” we deem it necessary…

    Bah Humbug!!!!

  • August 1, 2014 at 6:11pm

I agree! We do what we can when we can.

  • August 1, 2014 at 6:08pm

Smokey – you’re on it! That is the simple way to describe inflation. We’re all paying more for the same goods/services that we use to consume in 2007, some by 2 1/2 times; that’s unprecedented!

If memory serves, on major purchases compared to saving money, people save for an average of 30 months then feel they must spend; either on a house, car, boat, fancy piece of equipment, major appliance or furniture.

I know we’re saving what we can. I could save more if my clients ever pay me for the services rendered – I have the largest A/R I’ve ever had and yet we are in recovery?! So money [finances] should be more readily available?? Well, actions speak louder than words in most cases. But that’s enough about my tales of woe.

People are buying again but I see free money is back in the mail boxes again; that’s not good. Maybe people are buying on credit again?

Gas is double its cost of 2006/7. Food is up 150% -200% how do I know – looked at my books & compared this year & 2007. $450 food bill in 2007 now $1100 for same items per month; love Quicken! We burned up our savings trying to ride out 2008-2012. Our vehicle needs work but not wanting to part with $28K right now. Power bill is double.

When things need repairing, you do it or lose it. I think is to pay cash for everything, no credit, save what/when you can. We had our Cake, and most live the Circus – we just need to keep listening, pass the Cake table, ignore the Circus, and make try to make right/hard

I use to work for a “Temple to Money” [be very, very quiet, money has sensitive hearing ;-)] and let me tell you banking is all about relationship building. You store a lot of information in your mind about people and customers alike. I felt honored that someone would come to me and discuss their issues, even their lives, and I always had hopes that I could assist them in some manner, shape or form; if not for the bank but for them. What was told to me openly or in private stayed stuck between my ears…. mouth nor tongue divulged anything after hours. If you hadn’t learnt the art of privacy or trust you did so; fast. If you were a non-conversationalist you either learned or had the gift of gab and not in a sloppy way either. The art of listening is honed in these types of jobs and a myriad of personal/professional opportunities open up to you and the customer.
So in a nutshell, yes, data mining did occur but was kept private & confidential within the confines of my mind was not uploaded to the banks’ servers.
Tellers and floor staff often confide with each other so its not inconceivable that these issues thence rewards brought up in the video would not be known or engage in gifting this unique way.
People person or not, in a bank, you hear a lot of things, good and bad. Bank policies & procedures hold you back from assisting customers at times but sometimes just being a sounding board or listening w/o interjecting…. is one small way to help others in need.

Why would they even comment… they’re so above all that…. I mean, come on, its the most open and transparent Administration in the history of the United States of America for pity sakes?!!

  • [4] July 27, 2014 at 7:45am

The Prime Minister looks very agitated in that photo.
Kerry’s great at painting rose gardens…. but he’s never planted one… Mr. Prevarication in the flesh.

  • [5] July 11, 2014 at 7:04am

George Sorros must have invested with Costco…. or maybe Harry Reid? LOL

What a joke…. it was political, and since the left loves the “fear mongering” tactic, It doesn’t want a “what if” book/movie out there causing people to actually think about the good attributes of the United States of America and the stability it provides under proper “leadership”. Warp time & space forward to today….. a seemingly unengaged America has created a world of chaos, contempt, and instability.

Concealed/Carry is on the rise. In most cases group shootings occur in places/establishments that are gun free policy/zone, even city/jurisdiction.

Murder and Crime is down in places where Conceal/Carry is allowed.

A perception is out there whereby the ordinary citizen either feels threatened, believe in the true nature of the 2nd Amendment, and that authorities will not act to protect them. Even the Chief of Police Detroit encourages his citizens to carry, have and use a gun if your life is in danger because they may not get there in time. Your life could be extinguished in 5-20 seconds… police gets there in 20 minutes – that’s a long time to wait.

We must trust that somewhere in the system that police/peace officers are generally a net good to our society. If we generally can’t trust them then we run the risk of anarchy, use of situational judgements, thus we truly part company with the Rule of Law not Man.

Police/Peace Officers, if they’re in uniform, are just a huge target; they need to have their weapon on hand. What if someone decided that Ikea was making too much money that day… and a robbery occurred? they may be thanking there lucky stars that Chief of Police was there that day!?

I wonder – if an FBI or DHS person came in with a gun, would they be asked to leave or leave their gun in the car, and would they comply?

I agree with the chief – I would never lock a gun in a car or relinquish my firearm if I was a policeman. Thank you for serving!

If a candidate won’t use facts or truth to win a debate….. then, no….. we don’t need that again.

The Reluctant Candidate – this is what’s needed….. and when they’re in… they will go toe to toe in the battle of words & ideals.
