I use to work for a “Temple to Money” [be very, very quiet, money has sensitive hearing ;-)] and let me tell you banking is all about relationship building. You store a lot of information in your mind about people and customers alike. I felt honored that someone would come to me and discuss their issues, even their lives, and I always had hopes that I could assist them in some manner, shape or form; if not for the bank but for them. What was told to me openly or in private stayed stuck between my ears…. mouth nor tongue divulged anything after hours. If you hadn’t learnt the art of privacy or trust you did so; fast. If you were a non-conversationalist you either learned or had the gift of gab and not in a sloppy way either. The art of listening is honed in these types of jobs and a myriad of personal/professional opportunities open up to you and the customer.
So in a nutshell, yes, data mining did occur but was kept private & confidential within the confines of my mind was not uploaded to the banks’ servers.
Tellers and floor staff often confide with each other so its not inconceivable that these issues thence rewards brought up in the video would not be known or engage in gifting this unique way.
People person or not, in a bank, you hear a lot of things, good and bad. Bank policies & procedures hold you back from assisting customers at times but sometimes just being a sounding board or listening w/o interjecting…. is one small way to help others in need.

Why would they even comment… they’re so above all that…. I mean, come on, its the most open and transparent Administration in the history of the United States of America for pity sakes?!!

The Prime Minister looks very agitated in that photo.
Kerry’s great at painting rose gardens…. but he’s never planted one… Mr. Prevarication in the flesh.

George Sorros must have invested with Costco…. or maybe Harry Reid? LOL

What a joke…. it was political, and since the left loves the “fear mongering” tactic, It doesn’t want a “what if” book/movie out there causing people to actually think about the good attributes of the United States of America and the stability it provides under proper “leadership”. Warp time & space forward to today….. a seemingly unengaged America has created a world of chaos, contempt, and instability.

Concealed/Carry is on the rise. In most cases group shootings occur in places/establishments that are gun free policy/zone, even city/jurisdiction.

Murder and Crime is down in places where Conceal/Carry is allowed.

A perception is out there whereby the ordinary citizen either feels threatened, believe in the true nature of the 2nd Amendment, and that authorities will not act to protect them. Even the Chief of Police Detroit encourages his citizens to carry, have and use a gun if your life is in danger because they may not get there in time. Your life could be extinguished in 5-20 seconds… police gets there in 20 minutes – that’s a long time to wait.

We must trust that somewhere in the system that police/peace officers are generally a net good to our society. If we generally can’t trust them then we run the risk of anarchy, use of situational judgements, thus we truly part company with the Rule of Law not Man.

Police/Peace Officers, if they’re in uniform, are just a huge target; they need to have their weapon on hand. What if someone decided that Ikea was making too much money that day… and a robbery occurred? they may be thanking there lucky stars that Chief of Police was there that day!?

I wonder – if an FBI or DHS person came in with a gun, would they be asked to leave or leave their gun in the car, and would they comply?

I agree with the chief – I would never lock a gun in a car or relinquish my firearm if I was a policeman. Thank you for serving!

If a candidate won’t use facts or truth to win a debate….. then, no….. we don’t need that again.

The Reluctant Candidate – this is what’s needed….. and when they’re in… they will go toe to toe in the battle of words & ideals.

I’ll buy his book….. and I want, need, desire to consume it from Costco…. even if I have to special order it!

Voting with your dollars…. seems to be the next step. Progwessives are a curious bunch?

I heard they were discontinuing coffee bean baking service at the Costco’s? I mean come on – that’s not a good profit center for Costco?

To me…. they could be saying they want “cranky, illiterate, and un-enlightened customers”? Hmm?? Interesting…..

Good for Hobby Lobby – Congratulations for fighting this fight!

Entreprenuers & Business Owners should have full choice under God, under the Constitution of the United States of America, to provide, deny, or even select the type of covereage they want to supply, even benefits it “chooses” to offer to its employees. If you don’t like it, no insensitivity intended, there are other jobs out there and the train for that job leaves at 5pm; they’re not offering nor paying for what you desire to have as a benefit.

I find it amazing… just an observation…. I went to my county’s DHS (Dept. of Human Services) for a meeting and right out the door, not 100 feet away, was the nicest Commerical building on the block. Its had a Huge, HUGE, blue & white lettered sign staring you right in the face….. “Planned Parenthood”.

Please tell me this is not a coincidence?!!!!!!!!!

Meanwhile – back here in this topic…. companies should be able to determine their own benefit package to employees and not violate their belief structure.

I’m sure there will be net bads & goods down the line from this decision….. just look at Obamacare Decision….. feeling not so bad now, are we?

I guess in Oregon there seems to be big push to have “an equal vote” open primaries even if the candidate is from the opposing party. They say its for acquiring the “best” candidate for the job? I’m not really buying it.

Here is my question for the good Dr. Keating:

    Can you “Terra-form” a planet?

When & if you can…. then you can probably answer the question of man-made climate change.

Good try Dr…. but you may want to keep the $10K for hydraulic steel stilts for your home.

Understand, I feel for these children… their on our side of the fence so we must do something for them, help them with a hand up and not a handout. They should be returned to country of origin…. back to their parents. Not the parents using them as an anchor, excuse, to enter the United States on shaky circumstances whilst cloaking illegality of their true citizenship….

I was reading last night on my phone about this story.. someone had a great idea. The Big-G Federal Government, mostly the Exec. Brch, DOJ & DHS, have such a humanitarian crisis brewing…. then their compassion should be matching the situation, to bring them to Washington DC Directly. They can camp on the WH lawn, pitch some tents, sing a few songs, utilize the WH vegetable Garden [wouldn't want a food Dessert to appear on Google Maps all the sudden] obtain direct help from the “We Are The Answer” Government and we can call this wonderful humanitarian utopia….

    Obamaville.

Umm… that assembly is not in the IRC/ICC…. besides, that is a lawsuit just waiting to happen; one false step, trip, slip on some snow/ice and the ambulance chaser lawyers will be after that owner(s).

LoveTheKids & JMaster67 said it all.

When liberals react…. it seems they forget that their actions/rulings have broader implications into the future as LoveTheKids points out; situational reactions and ethics.

I will say Toure…. your comment is extremely disturbing.

“Apple users tend to be a bit wealthier than the Android or MS groups so it makes complete sense to target them.”

    You are joking…. right?

Driving is an experience of the senses. When I get in a car for business, yeah, at times I wish I ciuld take my hands off the wheel and get something done. The problem is, yeah, you get more done but I already work 16 hour days; why do I want to work more. I want to enjoy the fruits of my labor…. and driving is enjoyment, most of the time relaxing, sometimes exciting, and hopefully never painful.

Its about sights, sounds, smells, rev of the engine, sound of the road or wind, glancing at your children sleeping comfortably…. its more than control…. its ownership and freedom of destination. Now why would I want to turn my life over to a satellite, firm, or government to control my experience and destination?

I think of Will Smith in I.Robot… he had drive control by the city central computer but chose to turn off the “autopilot” and turn on the drive mode and engage with the steering wheel and the vehicle.

Yes, at times, driving is a hassle but driving is a privilege, thus stimulating and adds to your overall life experiences. Someday the sound of the engine will eventually become a hum or a whir. Until then, I will enjoy engaging with the environment around me as I interact with the machine about me and not degrade my experience by signing up to board a “People Mover”.
