  Good God, even our CEOs are as dumb as a box of rocks. So you power you home for 10 hours or so and then you are stuck with no transportation and no electric in your home.

  You see, with the Prius, you can go to a gas station and refill your tank when needed. They make very efficient generators because the engine runs only when the battery gets low. A regular gas generator runs all of the time and wastes a lot of fuel under light loads.

  Get real people. Since when do we budget costs over a 75 year period??? This estimate is a total fairy tale. The US will be bankrupt way before then unless get our spending under control.

  Everything that this nation was built on and stands for is dependent on moral fiber. There will be no recovery until this nation recovers it’s basic value system. Lack of moral fiber is the root cause of our banking problems and the underlying reason for the huge increase in our national debt.

  She has every right to refuse the meter and access to her property. The electric company then has every right to turn off service to her home. There is no need to arrest anyone.
