  Well said…. added a few points I missed on my post.
  Now in my house, he would have been met with an AR with 30 rounds, since unknow # of intruders… but at no point would I EVER EMPTY a clip in a person, if you aim and hit, it should not take but a couple rounds. Its your house, use the cover you got, stop the threat then stop shooting, stay behind cover till your possitive threat is stoped… then secure the threat. But I could never go and finish him, I coul not just let a man lay and die once he was not threat. Im a better person than that.

  The second he got in the door, he was a fair target…. and this guy was not trigger happy, he did not want to shoot but had too…… but WE are the good guys, and should not talk and act like we should let him lay there and die, or go and finish him.
  We cant not resort to being savages, we have to keep our humanity or we are no better than the bad guys. Even our military treats enemy wounded.
  After threat was over, I would have done my best to render first aid till help got there. He is a human, not animal…. and Im not going to lower myself to the level of the thugs and have no compassion for other human. We need to be better than that or we are doomed as a country for sure.

  Hope they do not give into this, I have spent last 12 years Leading Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. We theach them not to give into pressure, to do whats right and moral. Keep your standards. I hope I dont have to explain why BSA would break that Lesson. Leaving it up to the Local Districts or Groups is still a way to say we give up. Districts and Groups do not have the money to fight it out with the Gay & Lesbian groups, and will 1 by 1 fall.
  I will leave along with others as it comes to our District. I can not take a group of boys out camping and expose them to a Gay leader or have them share a tent with a Gay boy. the parents in my troop would not allow it either. And separating a boy out because he is gay would result in him being harrassed or bullied, plus set up leaders for lawsuits for descrimination.
  A lot of leaders, men and woman, will choose to leave BSA and find groups in churches or other groups thats still belive in God and Country, and morals.
  Pray that BSA gets this right and does not change their policy……. pray..

  As cruel as it seems, the crime scene had to be protected, the same people that asked why the bodies were held at the scene are going to be asking all the quesions about how the shooter got in and how all happened room from room and hallway by hall way. So if they did not do a good job of cheing the scene and gettin photos to map everything out, the you would be asking way they id not have better answers due to bad crime investigating.

  the arriving officers did not know if there were more shooters at scene, it takes alot of force to deal with a shooter that has an unknow possition to defend. No one want a story that reads “2 officers respoding to shooting call were ambushed may hidden gunman.” An over reaction is far better than under reacting to a call of this nature.

  Texas has a well trained and armed army….. The Texas National Gaurd………. Guns, Planes, Tanks, Helocopters, and lots of men that ” REMEMBER THE ALAMO!!!”

  But pray that America gets it right in Nov. For our children, pray they get it right. Dont know if civil war is coming, but war is coming around the world, watch Europe, China, and Russia. Then you go Iran and Isreal, the future looks tough for the world.
