College Prof on Leave After Forcing Students to Sign ‘Pledge’ to Vote for Obama

Since the article cited statute numbers, I wonder if Broward County will be looking at Florida State Statute 104.0615 (Florida Voter Protection Act). The statute states that “a person may not directly or indirectly use intimidation or any tactic to induce or compel an individual to vote for any particular individual or ballot measure.” Punishable as a felony third degree. That would be a third degree felony for each count. Will this statute be casually overlooked by officials or will someone get serious about voter tampering.
