  • Okay, so I have to admit to it, I have cried and lamented over the death of the kids at Sandy H., but then last night I came across the footage of the news coverage and the interviews and could not believe my eyes. I was stunned! At first I was very skeptical of the whole conspiracy theory, and just watched everything because I never really watched any of the footage back in December. Then I began noticing all the weird expressions of all the parents and witnesses and nothing made sense anymore. I think I must have spent over four hours last night looking at all the You Tube videos out there on this subject. Then today I decided to look up the other side of the story, the one that debunks or enforces the happenings of Sandy Hook. The more I researched the more I was convinced that something is very fishy about the whole thing. I cannot put my finger on it, but it all seemed too convenient for this administration especially since one of the first things on Obama’s to do list was to sign the treaty or whatever it is called with United Nations on gun control. You all remember that right? Then it was the fact that none of the parents were acting in a genuine way as a mourning parent who just lost their little son or daughter would. To top it all off not even one of them forgot to mention something about gun control just as they were reminiscing with such interesting and flowery details about their dead children. http://youtu.be/8fQoGMtE0EY will show you where we are heading.

  • I’ve been out of the news reel for a number of weeks now so most of what I know is based on headlines caught when I open my email and such. Coincidentally I showed my students the movie “Kimjongilia” so they can see the juxtaposition between propaganda and reality as it is found in communist nations or totalitarian regimes. My students were all shocked at the reality of the state of North Korea, and how deprived the people are in that country. We also saw the fact that soldiers were literally dying of malnutrition, most of them showing up on the propaganda scenes as skinny as the Somalians. I doubt NK could even defend itself if anyone tried invading the country let alone go at war with the US. They may be crazy enough to send missiles, but let’s hope they are also prepared for national suicide. Or maybe that is what they’re looking for. The midget seems to have a Napoleonic complex. Let’s hope China stays out of it and just forgets they have adopted this stray dog, apologies to all stray dogs out there.

  • So glad to see more of us surface in the education system.

  • This topic was constantly brought up during my Masters in Education program, and personally I am not a proponent of this style of education unless it is for adults and even then I believe it needs to be well balanced between class time and online time. The common term for this style of education is “blended” education.

Here is my argument against it: it cannot ever replace the presence of a teacher who is trained in figuring out a student’s personal needs. I completely understand and agree with the stance that so many of our educators are instilling a liberal, even Marxist ideology in their students, however, there are still a good number of us who are doing a great job in promoting personal liberty and moral values in our students. When we as a nation decide to offer students blended courses we have to be careful in making sure students stay focused on education and not on whatever else can be brought up on the computer screen. At the same time students need immediate feedback on their learning which for the most part is almost impossible in a teacherless environment. What I do like about blended education is the fact that every student has to complete the work in order to get credit, whereas sometimes in the classroom they will get a minimal passing grade just so they will not show up in a teacher’s room ever again. Yet at the same time I have had students tell me how some will get their friends and relatives to complete the blended courses.

    For me it will never

  • The more I look at the world we live in the more I realize we conservatives have no chance of surviving unless God himself comes down in the clouds and saves us.

But until then I will say what I believe and stand on my morals as they were aligned by God.

On that note I have to share with you all something I came across during this past week as I was preparing lessons for my classes on propaganda and how art has been used to proliferate it. In my research I found this

    http://youtu.be/8fQoGMtE0EY

I presented a shorter eight minute video to my class in which he describes the four stages of brainwashing and even my teenage students saw the parallels between what he says and what is happening today.

Seeing this so called evangelical Christian promote gay marriage reminds me even more that we are surrounded by useful idiots, the video will explain it more, who do not understand anything but their own ideology.

  • Last week during our teacher meeting I overhear a conversation that made me sick to my stomach. Apparently a school that is being built, of course only union members allowed, had all of its windows installed the wrong way. The installation was done on purpose at the request or demand by the union reps. The reason: so that they can come back again and install them the right way.

Go figure! And we’re wondering why companies go under when they are union driven. By the way, I live in CA, where we are slowly but surely nearing bankruptcy as a state mostly due to the crazy unions and liberals. I hate the fact that I have to fork out $150 out of every pay check so that the union can send it to Obama’s campaign. I also hate the fact that good teachers are not able to keep their jobs because they have to keep the tenured ones when it is time to lay off people, and the union does squat to help them out.

  • I am not a huge fiction reader. Last time I read a fiction anything was back in high school when somehow I began getting these Harlequin Romance novels in the mail. Since my parents did not speak English I got away with it. I am still wondering how the heck I ended up with all those novels in the mail? Anyway, my favorite books to read are based on reality, mostly biographical, historical, theological, and political. Since I am a teacher and an artist that automatically brings in education and art. That’s why I have no room for more books. It sort of runs in the family. The recommendation has been noted though. I will look into them. Thanks for mentioning them.

  • How does anyone know that the authors of the so called drafted emails were indeed the two in question? Could there be a set up of some sort? Somehow I cannot imagine the head of the CIA being so stupid. He should be 10 minutes smarter than everyone else. Am I the only one watching James Bond movies? Geez weez, Sean Connery had better spying techniques than this amateur email drafting scenario.

  • You are over analyzing this whole thing. After reading “Arguing with Idiots” I can pick up on Beck’s humor and sarcasm a mile away. Although it did catch me off guard the first time I saw the adds I got them the second time they popped up. I know that was the whole entire intention behind the adds. I also do not think that Beck gives a bloody rat’s tail whether he is seen as a nut or whatever else. He is used to it from what I gather. The important thing is that it got the attention needed. That spells genius in my book.

  • First time I saw the adds, it was the footprint one, I thought that someone hijacked the network. The second time I saw it, I said to myself: this has to be reverse psychology since I was able to pick up on some really thought provoking messages. The more adds I saw the funnier they became, funny in a serious way, because they were also very scary. I’m amazed to see and hear that so many people thought that Beck was actually selling time to those bozos. Seriously now, it takes an actively creative mind to come up with those adds. They are genius. As an artist I consider them high art, art that is relevant to the days and times we live it. I want the book on Kindle please. I cannot store any more books unless I buy a new house.
