    Great, so let’s have all the victims bring a knife to a gunfight. How’s that sound to you? You are simply not getting this. Bad guys will NOT obey this law and it only puts law-abiding victims at a further disadvantage vs criminals. Sinking in yet?????

    Please read more carefully, the actual time to drop a magazine and put in a new one is only a couple of seconds. Now if you can time it perfectly and count the rounds spent (assuming the perp is choosing to obey this one misdemeanor while violating multiple felonies) and are within a few feet of the perp when he is reloading, then yes you may be able to tackle the guy. On the other hand, what is the likelihood that a felon is going to obey the magazine restriction. The only thing this law does is put the law-abiding victims at a greater disadvantage vs the criminal. That’s OK I guess in your mind, but when Mr. Bad Guy breaks down my door, I want as much lead flying from the muzzle of my gun as possible.
