apocalypsewow, I LOVE YOU! Thank you for your comments. I was so discouraged with the way I was attacked, but you have restored some of my faith.

Been bothered by this all day, thank you for articulating what I was trying to put together in my mind.

Thank you for your comment Red :0). I agree 100%! People do not understand unless they are around it.

God also doesn’t want men and woman having sex outside of marriage…. so I really hope that none of you have ever or are doing that

I am not a liberal, I thought I was a conservative but I guess since I do not agree with judging a whole group of people then I am considered a liberal hate monger. Whatever! Let me spell something out for you very clear “I THINK THE AD IS DISTASTEFUL! “ but I will defend my family and my friends until my dying day! I am sure if one of your children came to you and said that they were gay…gay gay gay… you might have a clearer picture on the subject! Advertising will not make someone gay…I promise! So many times I think my life would be easier if I didn’t like men (they can be such a huge pain in the butt) but even if I think about it real hard a woman just doesn’t do it for me….what about you? I think we can find perverse things going on all around us, it is completely frightening, trust me it’s not just the U.O. ad. Take a stroll through the Jr. Highs and High Schools. Our jobs as parents and grandparents are to teach are children and try to shield them with the armor of god. We will not be able to stop everything they see, and hear but we can teach them. I am sorry that you took my comments as judgmental and hate filled but I see the struggles my friends go through …not only inner battles but the hate that is spewed their way and it breaks my heart. I have no problem disliking someone, but it better be because I disagree with who they are as a person ..what the content of their heart is. Jesus said to love thy neighbor and that’s what

@totally domestic and all other gay haters
I find the ad extremely distasteful, and I am extremely happy that I live in a capitalistic society and have the right to choose who I purchase from.
That being said I have a huge problem with your comments about Ellen and homosexuals. No wonder the left believe we are all a bunch on Bigots. I have been reading the bigoted remarks on the blaze for months now and have bit my lip every time, but not this time! Ellen is an amazing woman, her spirit lights up a room and I am sorry that you cannot see that! Some of my best friends and family members are gay. For the majority of them this WAS NOT a choice. They are doing the best with the cards they have been dealt. One of my family members, who is gay, is living a celibate life because he chose his religion over his lifestyle. What a hard thing to do… COULD YOU DO IT? Could you live a life knowing you will never have the embrace of a lover AGAIN, EVER??????? It would do well to accept and love people based on their character and heart, not their race, sexuality, religion etc. etc. etc. I am not here to judge anyone; I have enough on my plate without trying to figure out who is going to hell and who is not. I will leave the job for my savior, he is the only one that knows the full content of our hearts and I trust his judgment much more than mine. Oh I highly suggest all you haters out their step out of your comfort zone and befriend a “GAY”, They have much love to give and have

Well said Floridafarmgirl!

Anybody want to guess what Pie hole really looks like….. All he/she is doing is stirring the pot and you are all buying into his/her hate. Do you really believe that “it” believes the crap ”it” is spewing. Probably a very board middle age ” ? “ who is trying to find some meaning in their life by seeing how many people “it” can get a reaction from….. Ha Ha…. I have just played into “its” little game. Oh well, what can I say, I am a people pleaser….. Hee hee

I am a Mormon but have been inactive for most of my adult life. That being said, I am pretty strict (at least I try to be) with my daughter. I have a no sleepover rule in my home. I know it sounds pretty harsh, but I got the advice to not allow slumber parties from my daughter’s Jr. High counselor. She said that I would be shocked to know of some the abuse that has taken place in our school district. So the decision was made based on information I had received and not because of my religion, or judgmental views. Now if the family who denied the first two little girls is the same family who welcomed the newcomers then I may be more inclined to agree with you, but if it was a different family then I believe your judgment of my religion based on only this situation holds quite a few holes. I try very hard to look at the bigger picture instead of my own paradigm.. Read this on Paradigms… very interesting http://geniustypes.com/principles/paradigms/# . I know how upset I would be if I were in your position, but I wish with all my heart we could all try to ‘seek to understand’ instead of making quick assumptions. FYI… your lil ones would be welcomed over at my home any day!

Even though I am smarter then I once I will never be the genius you are, so maybe you are seeing much more then I am. One day I would like you to explain why it was ok for Mr. Santorum to make Robo calls to the democrats in Michigan. I would also REALLY like to know why it is ok why Mr. Santorum and his wife to get a free pass on the fact that she lived (outside of marriage) with an abortion dr. and that Mr. Santorum was very much pro-choice until he ran for Senate. I would also like to know why you have no problem with him bringing up piddily little things about Romney (like the dog on the roof). Rick talks about Mitt not having bold ideas for America but where are his??? I have noticed that the only bold Idea that Rick Santorum has is to buy etch a sketch toys and pass them out at rallies …..REALLY? I still love you but I am confused and saddened by your position on this.

I am beyond livid…. Why is Glenn supporting this guy???? I keep listening to him every morning to try and make sense of it. I love Glenn and I love almost everything he stands for except for his undying love for Mr. Santorum. I have tried over and over to justify Glenn’s position on Santorum. I tell myself and my friends that I admire him for standing by his friends through thick and thin… after all, loyalty is one of my favorite qualities in a person! My next favorite quality is humility. Glenn, it is time for you to be a little more humble and admit that what Mr. Santorum said was horrible.
For the past three years you have taught us and encouraged us to not trust blindly… you now have an extremely large group of intelligent, self-educated, patriotic supporters. Most of us are no longer a group of sheep that blindly follow the flavor of the month candidate, and when we see major inconstancy’s most of us are smart enough now to move on. Please do not insult our intelligence by trying to convince us that this gaff was made because he was tired. I am sure Mr. Romney is very tired as well, and all I have ever heard from him is that he/we will fully support whoever the Republican nominee is.

Well stated opinion.
Beck has a wonderful message to prepare for the worst and he has tied in a lot of obvious converging events and trends to project an unkind future. However, his constant loathing of the Republican Party, while at times well founded, is not pragmatic and his insistent support for Santorum goes beyond the practical. It is clear that a patriot like Beck has taken this personal for better or worse.

I would rather someone (Mitt) be honest about who he is and what he drives, then to pretend that he is all about the importance of ‘American made’ while not walking his talk. I have heard of a certain someone who drove a Dodge Truck around Iowa “The Chuck Truck” and played it off as if it were his… while he has an Audi A6 at home.

If I were Mitt Romney I think I would just say “BAG IT”. We need him a whole lot more then he needs us. Honestly, if I were him I would go buy myself an island and go on a very long vacation. I love to listen to all the talking heads on FOX news letting us all know how Mitt doesn’t have the excitement that he should have in the conservative base… Gee I wonder why? Could it be because he is attacked from every direction, the left and the right. I am pretty impressed that he has been able to remain as consistant as he has. Mitt is NOT a showman, Mitt is NOT a salesman, Mitt is a BOSS. He is not going to make you feel all warm and fuzzy, he’s got a no nonesense, lets get it done attitude. If you want a salesman (story of the last election) go ahead and vote for Newt or Santorum, but if you want someone to go in and take charge and try to figure out how to fix this mess we are in, then you better be doing a little bit more research on the candidates.
