I know it’s a long shot that Glenn, Stu, or Pat would actually see this comment, but I need to get it off my chest. I’ve been a cop for 30+ years and my wife is a public school teacher. Both of us are long-time conservatives, and I am an avid listener to Glenn’s radio show as well as a faithful reader of TheBlaze newsletter. My wife and I were listening to the show this morning and we were inspired by the story about Madison and her work ethic: UNTIL the comment from Glenn about, “I know you didn’t learn that in public school.” Maybe it’s not the norm, but my wife and many other public school teachers DO take the time to teach about work ethic and the value of hard work. Maybe there aren’t that many that listen to you and agree with you, but why alienate those that do? It’s not fair if liberals label all conservatives as heartless, greedy capitalists. Why is it OK to declare that all public school teachers indoctrinate their students with Progressive propaganda? I love ya, Glenn, but in this case — “Not fair!”

I just got done sending a comment to Lowe’s corporate (via their website) expressing how shameful it was that they fired a loyal employee for instinctively doing the right thing. As a 31-year law enforcement professional, I pointed out that they were jeopardizing the safety of their employees by advertising to criminals that Lowe’s is open season for shoplifters. I also told them I’m happy that there’s a Home Depot right across the street.

Dear Representative Hunt: I voted as a democrat when I turned 18 and graduated high school because I have a heart. I have been a loyal conservative for about 35 years now because I have a brain. I have been living in California for over 30 years and would like to move to Wyoming because I would feel right at home with the political structure there. If you would like to have another strong conservative in your state, I need you to adjust the weather so it’s warm all year long. If you refuse to do so, I SWEAR I’m going to stay here and be miserable!
