I spend a lot of time on Powell Lake. Actually had one of these floating cabins. They are great, but take a ton of maintenance. Where that one is in Hole In The Wall is very sheltered so less maintenance. That cabin is about 700 sq ft living space. Just looked at it Every so often the “float” needs to be replaced or upgraded. Many have deisel generators on separate floats to run electric appliances and water heaters. Even though the lake is in Canada it is at sea level on the west coast and it never freezes. Cool place, but I need more access to land.

There are. We are just too busy living and letting live. I am suspicious of those who call themselves atheists, but act more like left wing society controlling socialists. I think they are part of the movement to destroy the west, it’s culture, principles, and rule of law. That movement includes hypocritical environmentalists, islam, anti business, pro equalizing and non meritocracy. From just a lobbying position they have made the move into trying to take over our political systems and destroy from within.

I am an atheist and am fully in favour of the of keeping nativity scenes. It is very important for the west to keep it’s customs intact. I am afraid some atheists do not understand that trying to ban christian religious symbols is capitulating to stealth jihad. I have many athiest and christian friends who both respect each others view as both our views are compatible with equality of the sexes, equal opportunity, and freedom of speech. These atheists who want to prohibit others from religious displays should put their efforts into groups that are a real danger to our society. Namely islam, but I guarantee that they do not have the guts to do so.

I am an atheist and totally deplore this action. These guys are the nut cases of the atheist world. I know a lot of atheists and without exception we are fully in favour of a persons freedom to worship. We are against having religion shoved down our throats. Currently the only “religion” doing this is Islam. Which is not really a religion but a theopolitical organization with the stated goal of controlling everyone. We also accept that the western world was created by judeo/christian ideology. The greatest part of that was the realization that all people should be able to worship as the want as long as they do no harm to others as well as the the separation of government and state. Very much unlike Islam. As has been mentioned here already, I want to see these guys tear up the koran in public. Come on guys, no guts, no glory. lol
