This country is just one drug induced heart attack away from having a far left SCOTUS. Obama has already stacked the courst with liberal loons and if one of the conservative justices were to pass from a natural or not so natural (wink wink) ailment, they could get away with ANYTHING their progressive little hearts desire.

LOL, I was going to post a comment saying the exact same thing and decided to see if anyone else had already caught it. Classic Liberal sneer.

Really, they were BEATING the girls, doubtful. These people will lie without the slightest remorse.
No waivers, the loose headgear could cause the ride to derail, heck with that. That affects all the people on the ride, not just the hadjie with the noggin diaper.

So should The Government just sit back and watch as millions of kids become obese and a burden on our system?
When a person has no money and they get diabetes, who do you think pays for it?”
I just want to get this perfectly clear. You and the Progressive ilk like you create a welfare state where people can either go to the hospital and can’t be refused care OR they get ObamaCare and are covered. Even though Progressives established those two scenarios against the will of Conservatives, you are now going to try to use their existence as an excuse to further sap our freedoms?
I don’t think so, pal.
Instead, remove the real problem you’ve created, make people responsible for their choices, let the fat people die if they want to be fat and the rest of the citizens can get on with their lives knowing there are consequences for bad behavior, as there should be.
These Progressives just keep stacking up the lunacy until the whole pile crashes down, they can’t help themselves. Much the same as cancer.
Doesn't really matter if this book is a good thing or bad, with the way the liberal elites are running our public schools into the ground, it won't be too long til kids can't read well enough to read this book or any other.
This is so messed up!! And the worst part is that ive seen this "fit in and conform" thing becoming more and more visible. I remember as a little kid my parents taught me God loves me the way I am and I dont need to changee to seek His aproval. So i grew up with a sense of individualism which only grew stronger as i saw how the other kids ruined there lives to try to fit in with everyone. So needless to say I was shocked when i saw a "back to school items" comercial (while watchin wipe out :) ) in which the music teacher says something to the affect that that in order to be cool kids need certain things and went on to sing which ones :P so stupid heres the youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3j-cScyOHpo
The one that really drives me crazy is the one with th 7 y.o. who is humiliated by his parents' older station wagon so he gets them to buy a cool new SUV- like he's teaching them how to live "right." If that was my kid I'd teach him not to be such an ungrateful little punk.

I love their products, I just wish their macbooks were a little more reasonably priced.
I've been a Mac/PC IT Pro for 17 years...Believe me when I say that comparable PC's cost the same if not more. When you compare the overall costs, Anti-virus, anti-spam, registry tools, etc - the Mac's come in MUCH cheaper. While I can't stand the companies’s politics, I'm like Rush... Best product out there.
You get what you pay for!
While the hardware apple buys from others and resells with their name on it isn't bad, it's their software, 99% freebsd with a pretty skin is why people buy apple computers. When Jobs dies, and the board can point the company in a direction to make real profits not held down by hardware, osx / ios can really take off if it's not to late by that point. Just as TIVO could have ruled the dvr market forever if they had been willing to license their software for $25 a box for ever instead of trying to bleed direct/dish/att/timewarner/comcast dry with $5 a month fees. TIVO software would be on ever dvr / dvd player made today, it's interface was really intuitive, and most still call any generic dvr a tivo, it's so engraved in our heads, my 8 year old says let's tivo it, and we haven't had a tivo brand anything since he learned to talk.
Apple could be this way in the desktop/cell phone/tablet/book reader market, if they would just license their os to everyone that wants it, Dell, ibm, hp, samsung, nokia, sony, etc. They could quadruple their market share in 6 months, and raise their earnings by a lot more than that.
The reason they don't do this is simply because different hardware configurations will cause the stability of their operating system to change drastically, vastly changing the experience for the end users.
Windows had to make itself stable and useful on billions of possible hardware combinations. Mac OS pretty much requires a specific hard ware configuration, and if the OEM's veer off this even slightly, there will be stability problems. In some cases Apple also had special "Apple" versions of hardware as well.
It's a poor design on Apples part. They had more stability in the past because of this and were able to make fun of PC's because Windows had to account for problems in billions of combinations and third party software drivers.
Since the more recent versions of Windows, Microsoft has finally got control of the hardware driver issues with their hardware quality labs.
Finally, on the security front, that's just because OS X has low market share and is security through obscurity. When market share increases, it will become tempting for malware authors to start targeting OS X.

Maybe this Brit should take a look at the socialist cesspool his country has become, before he starts deriding those that would avoid such a fate/future.

Fair enough. What about the Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, Wiccans, Scientologists…etc, etc. That’s why the American flag is more suitable, it stands for all citizens, faiths and devotions. Don’t get me wrong, I think that particular cross has a profound symbolism, I just think the atheists actually have an valid argument on this one.
July 26, 2011 at 9:43am
Yeah, I’m fully behind the atheists on this one. An American flag is without question, the correct symbol to be used for this memorial. It has nothing to do with Christianity and the cross has no place in this memorial. I’m usually against the fight to take the religious symbols off government areas, and the ridiculous attempts to remove Christianity from Christmas. But, they have it right this time, the cross has nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks, it was against ALL Americans.
@ MuyLocoNC.........I disagree. The Cross has everything to do with 9/11. God's hands are in everything. It was his wake up call to all Americans. He is saying I AM GOD and I AM HERE. That perfectly formed cross was not a coincidence.
ummm that cross was CREATED in the attack, so I'm thinking that inherently makes it have something to do with it
I agree fully and as for muyloconc, the cross is for the christians and since atheist claim to be for "nothing" then the empty spaces there can be symbolic for atheists. Therefore, there is no problem, the christians have their "space" and the atheists have theirs.
Fair enough. What about the Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, Wiccans, Scientologists...etc, etc. That's why the American flag is more suitable, it stands for all citizens, faiths and devotions. Don't get me wrong, I think that particular cross has a profound symbolism, I just think the atheists actually have an valid argument on this one.
If this Country can't even agree on letting one Cross be erected on a site of great carnage and death. What chance do we have of staying a Nation united by 50 States? I say we have none. Let the cross go up. If Jews died let the Star of David rise. If a Muslim died, send his family home. They are the destroyers.
I love my brethren the greek othrodox.Sure it should be built. But you're mixing apples and oranges-the opposition of a mosque is motivated by anti muslim hatred and propaganda. Whatever is happening with the greek church genocidal media propaganda is not involved..you know this of course but like malicious hate filled vipers you always want to malign those muslims and anyone who doesn't buy into your anti-semitism [against muslims this time].
Your freedom to excercise your religion is impeded if there is a government validation of other religion[as a religious symbol in a public place would be.]The sacred symbolism of [for me a catholic] the cross is profaned if the state validates it as one among many religous symbols.Hence preferable the neutrality of the state with respect to religion where no religion is officially validated.Religion remains in the private but undefiled sacred space of say the church. To validate all religions[by allowing religious symbolism in public spaces reduces all religions including my own -the One,Holy Catholic And Apostolic Church founded by the Creator of the universe Himself-to another club among clubs. All equal, all merely symbolic of culture and traditions and even ethnic groups etc.All this trivializes and marginalizes each religion and who needs it? A public [state supported] institution is in fact profane and when to use religious symbolism to jocky for position and recognition in a secular venue, you are misusing religious symbols for political purposes.God knows everything and all spaces are sacred to God as all souls are sacred to Him.No need to mix the secular state with a symbolic show of religious diversity.diversity is not an issue for a true believer but alligence to his particular faith. How bizarre is it in those Chrisitan churches in Bethlehem and Jerusalem where you have 3 christian denominations occupying different parts of a church? Shameful!
Here's the problem for you Rose-Ellen..the cross at ground zero isn't being used for a political purpose at all. It's a spontaneous and genuine sign of mourning and compassion for the people that a group of islamist jihadis butchered there. Please...I defy you to prove me wrong with that. Your little manifesto (as incoherent and garbled as it was) about "profaned" religious symbols conjoined with governmental interests is totally a distraction on your part. It's merely you showing your hatred for the west and Christians again.

The citizens of Georgia need to have their heads examined for electing and reelecting a USA hating, traitorous cretin like her.

And this country that prides itself for its “liberal society” had just one armed citizen, the deathcount might have been reduced by 70+ people. Yup, take away the firearms from the law abiding citizens, so they are at the mercy of the armed criminals and lunatics. Ain’t political correctness grand?

Walmart Sucks. I hate going into that place every time I have to. About the only thing I ever buy there is tires. Sam’s Club on the other hand Rocks! I do love me some Sam’s Club. They get a large portion of my family’s food expenditures.
I know this is an obvious question and no disRESPECT intended, but if you hate Walmart, why shop there at all?
I used to have a membership in Sam's Club, but no more. It was after I was told that I had to buy two bags of potato chips, when I only wanted one. I explained that I lived alone and didn't want two bags of chips. They said "them da rules", so I didn't buy any chips at all.
I'm sure that Sam's Club is great for families, but not for me.
you do realize sams club and walmart are the same company right ??????

Of course, these are the same people that will be begging the police for help the first time they are victims of any type of crime. If the suspect shot at the police first, they have no choice but to return fire.
I doubt that they would be so fast to call police for assistance if they were not intimidated into not exercizing their 2nd Amendment rights by those same police who are sworn to serve and protect.
Of course people are supposed to call the police for help if they need it. THAT'S THEIR JOB.
But hey, oaths don't mean anything anymore in this country.
Cops think their badge & gun = license to kill/ abuse/ steal/ set people up. etc., etc.
If a suspect pulls a gun they have the right to fire. Waiting for the suspect to shoot is bad juju.

So in her mind it’s impossible for a group of citizens to be opposed to new/over taxation, in favor of responsible spending AND concerned about our politicians adhering to the Constitution? Wow, I didn’t realize I was such an ignoramus with no ability to think on multiple levels.

I couldn’t care less if the “partner” is gay, she was a parent to the child and the child most likely loves both women equally. It isn’t right to prevent them from having a relationship because one parent tries to enforce her “beliefs”. This is where I split paths with my fellow Conservatives. I’m an atheist and if you want to believe in an imaginary deity, fine, just keep it to yourselves and quit thinking it gives you some kind of supreme doctrine to use against the rest of us.
So if the imaginary deity does NOT give us some sort of supreme doctrine then riddle me this....where do your rights come from?
"I couldn’t care less if the “partner” is gay, she was a parent to the child and the child most likely loves both women equally"
I doubt that she even remembers the other woman, much less "loves her equally." She was just a baby when the women split.
Without God, where does your right from wrong come from, hourly changing opinions of man or whatever you "feel?" God aside, what if Lisa "feels" what she is doing is right for her child. Why are her feelings wrong and yours are right?
So, the Muslims who flew into the World Trade Centers were right because they believed they were doing good?
Dear MUYLOCONC, it is thanks to GOD fearing people that you are enjoying all the freedoms you have including but not limited to your ability to publicise your opinions here. So if you do not believe in GOD fine, just keep it to yourself and stop trying to use it against the rest of us. Thank you.
You don't believe in God, you're pro-gay marriage, you mock Christians that do believe in God by stating emphatically their God is "imaginary" and insinuating that their "beliefs" are inferior to yours. THIS is where you "SPLIT PATHS"? In what way would you consider yourself conservative? Pro-life? Not by supporting gay unions, you aren't. Two women will never create a child together. You don't believe in freedom of religion, the sancatity of marriage between a man and woman, God, life. So, what's left? Maybe you own a gun?
Athiests are why I am no longer an athiest.
1) Please do not pretend that your comment, "imaginary deity" is not offensive or patronizing. 2) I do believe I *still* have a right to talk about God nearly anywhere I want. 3) I believe a more fitting question is, "Where do your MORALS come from?" (Which then leads to basic human rights...)
Funny how those who don't believe in "my God," really can't answer how those morals to do 'good' are found throughout humanity and are contradictory to any natural law (survival of the fittest, etc.).
REPENT THE KNIGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND. it is mean't that you could die at anytime, you are definalty a base dweller and yes we are superior.. Because most christains live the higher law that you progressive think you are doing and think some how lesbian and Gay right it a rues.. BS, you stand for murder and based out activities and would kill a Christain in a second, Oh you are so noble in your BS..Don't want to be standing next to you when the end comes..
I couldn't have said it better myself. It makes him look pretty ridiculous to state all of this and then claim to be a "fellow" conservative. I bet that he registered as a republican so that he can help try to get in people that are RINO'S (aka democrats is republican clothes) and he's been doing that for so long that he's beginning to think that he's a conservative. They attack our conservative beliefs but then they all try to play and pretend to be us, what does that tell everyone. They had us because they are jealous of us.
my problem with you and atheists is the constant arrogance and talking down to everyone.
All opportunity of exchanging ideas in a civil manor cease when you say "I’m an atheist and if you want to believe in an imaginary deity, fine, just keep it to yourselves and quit thinking it gives you some kind of supreme doctrine to use against the rest of us."
Right from the point where you start talking about our God as imaginary you're already insulting the core of our beliefs. Then you say we think we have a "supreme doctrine to use against the rest of us." I'm pretty sure it's the Atheists that use SCIENCE as some sort of 'see see i'm right' like some little brat. Not sure if you know this or not, but alot of Christians do not think science and God are foils. We believe God created all, INCLUDING SCIENCE. He also created all the arrogant little atheists to test our faith. :)
It 'isn't right to gives to someone who had absolutely nothing to do with the child's conception. It would be like an neighbor or room mate demanding visitation rights.
You've reminded me of a quote by G.K. Chesterton, "If there were no God, there would be no Atheists."
Hi! Muy-Loco NC!
As an official Hot War veteran - just want u 2 know -
In the 1970's there were lots of atheists and Catholics and Jews and Gays and other non Christians fighting and dying for your freedom, most served with at least the valor and honor of the straight Protestants. We still had guys who had been drafted.
Maybe now the all volunteers are all ramrod Straight Protestant Hetero males, but back then the fighting force was really diverse, included women etc., and we are all now probably getting our retirement checks no matter what we were and are!
First of all, you don't know what sort of relationship the child had with the other woman. You're reading a whole lot into the story that isn't supported by fact.
Secondly, it is the right of the real mother to protect her child as she sees fit. And she no longer sees homosexuality as a healthy experience (which it isn't) to expose her child to.
The other woman has no biological attachment to the girl in question END OF STORY.
Thirdly, I don't think you're a conservative....you're a troll.
When have we ever been able to depend on France? France has always been like a paid companion for the evening....could only count on England, Australia and Canada to differing degrees when needed them.
Boycott French fries and French toast !
That'll show 'em !!!
Which one is more dangerous France building ships to Russia or Obama giving secrets to Russia ?
French Fries are actually from Belgium... so?

He looked like a sadsack, wormy little douchebag then, still looks like one today. This guy needs to be spit on every time he goes into public.

He’s a football playing black man with dreadlocks wearing his pants below his a$$ coming from a funeral of a friend who was gunned down. And his mom says he was “stereotyped”….give me a break, this guy IS A WALKING, TALKING STEREOTYPE.

Yes JZ, you said it first. After about 50 other people on here said the same thing. And I’ve heard a couple dozen news sources say the same thing earlier today. You have it right, but you are far from first.
