So much for what Jesus said.
But I say to you, love your enemies and bless the one who curses you, and do what is beautiful to the one who hates you, and pray over those who take you by force and persecute you. ~Matthew 5:44

Think about this definition and see if it applies to you.
the act of indoctrinating, or teaching or inculcating a doctrine, principle, or ideology, especially one with a specific point of view
How many of you ONLY get your news from conservative leaning websites and news shows? How many of you believe that being conservative is right and liberals are always wrong?
    Again, divide and conquer.

  • April 11, 2012 at 3:21pm

Indoctrination comes from the only giving one side of the argument credence. Let’s pretend that your son was walking through a black neighborhood and was shot and killed by a black man claiming self defense. Would you still be okay with the courts not charging the man? Would you be upset if the media made the shooter the victim and your son the instigator?
The issue is larger than race. Plain and simple. It’s the media controlling you by choosing what to report. How about how our troops are getting dosed with Prozac and how it impairs their impulse control?
What about the women whose children are being taken away by Child Protective Services because the parents don’t want their child vaccinated?
Enlighten yourself. Read this…it makes sense….just keep your mind open.

The racist comments are by users of the Blaze. Look at any story on blacks and you will see all kinds of racist statements. His radio show was carried by Clear Channel Communications, he is funded by Goldline, and according to Forbes he is worth $85 million. That money isn’t coming in from GBTV, it comes from endorsing companies, selling corporate propaganda and inciting fear.
    Want the real Glenn Beck?
He is an elitist puppet working to divide America. Divide and conquer, like lambs to the slaughter.
Beck and other conservative hosts are losing advertisers as well.

SOme will follow Glenn off the cliff while he laughs. Research….do your homework…I find fault with quite a few of his ideas.

Here come the sheep walking into the race wars. Conservatives p!ssed that George Zimmerman is going on trial and blacks p!ssed because he will get off. Race wars are a two way street. Apparently Beck is fulfilling the work of his corporate overlords by some of the racist comments seen on the Blaze lately. Indoctrination isn’t just a tool for the left, it’s a tool for the right as well.

What is Fox News so afraid of? Seriously, makes them seem a bit guilty of not being honest in their journalism.

Here’s a story that the MSM(Beck included) don’t want you to know about.

Stop following these distractions and wake up to what’s really going on. It’s bigger than all of us.

    Read this story earlier on

Interesting theory considering that radiation causes cancer and the dentist X-rays you more than most doctors would. Could be a real link there some where.

This is an old story, Max Keiser was talking about this a week ago. We need to remember that both parties supported the bank bailouts, it wasn’t just Dems. We need to kick the big corporations out of our government. End the SuperPACs!
The big banks and corporations are the ones who run DC.

Absolutely, I get my news from Fox, the BBC, RT, Townhall, and various local papers. I try to cut through the spin and focus on the common aspects of the stories. I find that when you add a variety of liberal, conservative, and somewhat centrist news sources and keep an open mind, you tend to be better informed.

  • March 28, 2012 at 7:58pm

Seems like the Blaze is very selective about how they SPIN this whole Trayvon Martin story.
They seem to have missed this little gem.

Sometimes it pays to get your news from more than one source. Lol.

Anyways, back on topic, Spike Lee was reckless for tweeting out a home address. He should be ashamed….but he’s not. You can’t teach some one culpability.

So, why do conservative groups often call for boycotts it they are so un-American? Drop the double standard all ready! Is it okay or not okay to boycott a company if you don’t agree with them? Would you boycott a company that campaigned for gay marriage to be legal? How about a company that gave a load of money to the Obama campaign? Seems like it’s only un-American when the boycott is against conservatives. If Limbaugh calls for a boycott, are you going to follow like a bunch of lemmings or tell him he’s un-American?

Guess they got it from Goldline?

Sounds like something the neighbors would say about a serial killer. “He was a quiet boy, kept pretty much to himself. Then one day he just snapped.”

After spending so much time at war (4 tours), you run the risk of losing that human element inside.
Time to pack it in boys. Bring these folks home.

That’s because Soros is a boogeyman created by the conservative media for the sake of distracting from real issues. Slow news day? George Soros is the cure.

Get over it people, the guy is old as hell and gonna die in the next few years.

Why not focus on the Republicans that keep growing government? We lose focus of the real issues with these distractions. Obama is only part of the problem. The other half comes from Congress and BOTH parties are over reaching just a bit too much for my tastes.

Japan + high tax rate = better economy than USA

They are able to drop their tax because their economy is better off.

Look at charts and figures that show that higher taxes on the richest of the rich ACTUALLY bring down the national deficit.

These rates are nowhere near as high as in the past.

Now compare the deficit to the tax rates on the rich.

Simple economics. You need to raise taxes and cut spending in order to reduce the deficit.
Are billionaires going to miss a few million dollars or would you miss a couple hundred dollars out of your taxes?

Reaganomics is DEAD. Has it worked for you yet? Are you wealthier today than before?

    Obama Signs Anti Protest Bill

This bill was passed with support from both the GOP and Democrats. This bill will make it a federal offense to protest anywhere near a politician who is under secret service protection. This will hurt the Tea Party in so many ways. The bill is entirely open to interpretation. The main stream media(including Fox) have yet to really pick up this story.
The act of protesting, even accidentally interrupting a political speech could face federal charges.
Why is Glenn so quiet on this?

The youth of today are all about APATHY. I spent time volunteering with a local environmental company that was collecting signatures to help clean the water around the area. Nothing radical, no money needed, just signatures. The college kids I met could have cared less.

Then when I was working on voter registration with the youth, I experienced the same thing.

I agree that Reagan was a great president and gave important speeches. I admire him very highly. My point was never to bash him, just point out his bad choice. I come from a working class family. My great grandfather fought in WW1 my grandfather, WW2, and my father in Vietnam. We hold very conservative beliefs, but never marched blindly. As a fellow soldier, you should know that you never go to battle without doing some home work, be it on the enemy or perhaps the terrain.

Everything I have in life I had to work for. Even at a young age(5), I was expected to do chores. My mother paid me for my work by letting me pick out a toy at the toy store once a week. Nothing grand, usually just a GI Joe or a Transformer.

I have worked tirelessly to provide for my family and will do so until the day I die. I don’t believe in retirement. If your heart still beats, you can do some form of work. I am instilling the same work ethic in my son now. There are far too many that have silver spoons in their mouths and feel way too entitled.

I am just seeking truth in this world, and again, it’s not always what we want to hear.

Ummm….not entirely sure what the point of that rant was. I fought in Iraq. Did you?
I was willing to give my life for this country.
The name calling is low and makes you seem a bit uneducated. All I did was present facts with sources.
All I asked was that if I was wrong, some one please let me know by posting facts with links to sources as well.

A socialist or fascist would be unshakable in their beliefs, I’m not. I am open to other opinions.

Fascism – often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

Doesn’t sound like me. I am proud to have a voice and to be able to vote for anybody that I want. No man is infallible, only God is. So is Reagan a god? He messed up sometimes, we all do.

If you don’t have any facts to counter, than why waste your energy responding? It makes you look sad. Especially when you spout out typical far right hyperbole like that.
