Tell men not to rape women… the next thing you know, they’ll be calling rape ‘An unwanted sexual encounter’…

Is that anything like, “You brought it on yourself by dressing like that”? Or “You put yourself in that situation…”?

I’m disgusted when these types reverse the roles of perp and victim. This woman needs to watch a few hours of Investigation Discovery and figure out that violent crime, isn’t detoured by pleading and begging, as a matter of fact, some of those types are driven further forward by that fear. Sometimes, its not even stopped when a woman responds with violence to defend herself. And a lot of the time, these rapists just keep going, sometimes for years, leaving a trail of broken lives and dead bodies in their wake, while the police chase after clues.

However, one confident, well trained woman with a firearm, could save not only herself, but a host of future victims, and possibly bring some peace of mind to any earlier ones.

Just simply brings to mind the phrase, “I’d rather be judged by twelve, than carried by six.”

Well, unless the twelve is filled with her kind of stupid…

Hate speech on blatant display, in WRITING on a very public billboard. But they complain and whine when people strike back. So, when I put up a billboard that says :

Atheists have FAITH that there is no God. Actively recruit members. Actively preach their point of view. Are convinced that they are the only ones that are smart enough to know the “truth”. They have FAITH that in the end, there will be nothing. Sounds like a religion to me.

    That will be fine, right?

I live in the Tampa Bay area. We’re getting some nice breezes and some much needed rain. I’ve had hurricane parties in worse storms, oh lets say Charley. News people, politicians and their pets have become wimps and fear mongers. Geez, it gets a little wet and they start panicking. Not one of them is made of sugar, though a few might be made of salt or possibly related to the Wicked Witch of the West. And I’m not talking Nancy Piglousy. I just saw a news clip where the reporter was going on about puddles on the beach in Miami and acting like the little white caps there are some ravaging tsunami.

Its good that they know how to set up to handle excess problem causers, but I have a question. Why is this not SOP anyway? Why is this special preparations and not efficient court normality? Oh yeah, they LIKE having people rot away over stupid things in jail ( like not being able to afford insurance ). First they take your license, then stick you in jail with rapists, murderers and thugs until they get around to arraigning you, the whole time treating you like you’re no better than the guy that shot up the convenience store for $30 dollars in cash. Then when you do see the judge, they slap the local drug dealer on the wrist and send them on their merry way, then make sure that the poor guy with no insurance is “made an example of”. Our “justice” system is screwed. If they can do this for the convention, shouldn’t they be doing it ALL the time?

You have taken your last mortal step, Mr. Armstrong. You have inspired so many. I hope and pray that more men and women look to the moon and remember your footsteps. And finally realize that we can’t stop there.

Sur, maybe you’re the one that’s not keeping up. Out of his own mouth, Oblahblah flat out stated, “I wouldn’t want my daughter to be punished with a child.” If either of his girls got pregnant before they were out of the house, I’m betting that they’d “counsel” her to abort, so as not to “ruin” her life through an unplanned pregnancy.

A few years ago, I watched my mother care for my cancer stricken grandmother for over a year, while chemo dragged her down and weakened her body so much that the cancer actually spread rather than getting any better. My mother spent every waking hour taking care of her every need, as did two others of her children. My parents paid her bills, paid to have work done to her fading house. My mother bathed her and clothed her and fed her, when she could eat at all. My mother would call me and cry. The woman that she talked to nearly every day from the day that she was born, was dying a horrible death in front of her. My mother wasn’t thinking about the money they had to spend, or the diapers that she had to change, or the baths and food preparation or pill management. My mother was thinking that a woman that she loved so dearly was suffering and there was nothing that she could do other than just be there for her.
And should the time come that my mother needs me to do the same, I will. With heartache and pain but with all the love and compassion that’s in me. How many times did my mom wipe my backside? How many times did she comfort me when I was sick? How many hours of sleep did she lose when the doctors told her that I was dying from pneumonia? How many times did she pick me up when I couldn’t do it myself? How many booboos did she kiss?
Our elders deserve our best, until God calls them home. Period. Suck it up. They sure did for you!

Forgiveness is not for those that have hurt you. It is so that hatred doesn’t destroy you from the inside. Though forgiveness does have a wonderful side effect of helping them as well. Cameron didn‘t strike me as some cold blooded person that didn’t care that he’d caused that kind of damage to a family. If anything, he seemed humbled and amazed that anyone could ever forgive him for his stupidity that night. Hate is displayed so often and being the first, guttural response to being wronged, doesn’t make it the right response. I suffered through years of trying to figure out why I was supposed to forgive the people that hurt me so badly in life. Why should I forgive them, they wouldn’t even admit to doing wrong? Then one night, in the depths of my despair, I felt that voice. “They don’t need your forgiveness.. you do.” Hate is the soul killer. It also damages the mind and body. Its ok to be angry. Its ok to be sad. Hatred is never right. If you cannot show forgiveness to those that have wronged you, you and the ones that you love are the only ones that feel that strain. Take time to grieve and scream and throw things. “Love those that hate you, and pray for those that spitefully use you…”. Its easy to show love and compassion to those that are good to you. It takes a lot more spine, courage and love to show that same love and compassion to someone that has wronged you.

Have you seen the way that the illegal population has destroyed a good portion of southern Arizona? Have you been threatened by them, telling you that they’ll kill all the “European” people, such as I, that were BORN THERE and that they’ll take Arizona back by blood? Have you seen the degeneration of homes and apartments because 10 people will be living in a one bedroom residence, while they do nothing for the communities that they’re stealing jobs and money from. Have you seen them continually pregnant and getting benefits that they don’t pay for because they are here ILLEGALLY and working under the table for crooked businessmen? Benefits that most legal citizens get turned down for? Have you seen the slums in Tucson, my home town, that they’ve created? Have you ever opened your front door to cars blocking you in because the ILLEGAL drug dealers think that they own everything? Have you opened your front door in the morning to go to work, and see and smell nothing but alcohol, beer cans and liquor bottles littering the streets? How about you try going into any other country illegally and see what happens to you? They sure won’t be extending voting rights to you. Mexico is bad. Their prisons are even worse and they won’t hesitate to harass and arrest you for the most inane things. We are a SOVEREIGN NATION! 90% of illegals don’t want to be citizens, they just want to drain our economy. They only want to vote so that they can KEEP draining us dry.

People like this make me sick. I was born at the tail end of 1973.. my birth mother had actually traveled out of the state that she was living in, to seek out an abortion in another state. I don’t know why, and I may never know as I’ve never been able to find her, she opted to return home and try to care for me for 8 months before giving me up for adoption. But I’ll tell you this, even with all of the agony that I’ve suffered in my life, I thank God and my birth mother for opting to give me life, instead of snuffing it out before I had a chance to experience it, with all of its ups and downs. I thank her for giving me the opportunity to be a strong woman that has learned through her trials and tribulations, how to pick myself up, brush myself off and move on with life. I have the chance to love and yes, even be angry and hurt. It means I’m ALIVE! I can feel despair or I can feel elation! I can look on the face of my husband and know love and thankfulness. I can look on the face of the parents that raised me and know that even with all of our troubles in the past, life can be better when we learn a few valuable lessons. I pity those that are so quick to jump on the “life has no meaning” bandwagon. Her argument is pitiful and selfish in every respect and extreme. Wah wah, I had a tough childhood. Join the crowd, sweetheart. My life story would only serve make you look like the whiny fool that you are.

So what this half wit is telling everyone, is that its only black people that use government handouts?? There was not ONE example that this brain trust threw out that sounded even remotely racist. What a flat out, lying, RACIST this guy is.

  • [1] August 15, 2012 at 6:35pm

They want a war.. they forget that a lot of us out here are militarily trained veterans. We’re awake, watching and preparing for their stupidity, while they shout things that should have them in prison for terrorist threats and intimidation. If a group of white supremacists started doing this, they’d be rounded up and hung out to dry by our court system. How is it that this kind of vile garbage coming from this group of vile, hateful people is considered freedom of speech, when it would be criminal if anyone else did it?
They keep pushing and pushing. HOW DARE YOU THREATEN ME YOU LYING, FEAR MONGERING, RACE BAITING, CRETINS!!! This is one house where you’ll leave full of holes and in a body bag if you even TRY to come drag me out of it!

  • August 15, 2012 at 6:15pm

This disgusting individual murdered our service men in the name of “Allah”. Let him have his scraggly looking beard. He is evil and deserves to rot in some dark, dank hole. Stop with the BS and put this TERRORIST where he belongs. Just because he’s got facial hair, does’t mean that justice should be hindered! And that’s all that this judge did with his ridiculous decision. All that he’s done is delay justice for the SOLDIERS that he MURDERED in cold blood! Get off of your high horse, “your honor” and put this piece of human shaped EXCREMENT away! This has gone on LONG ENOUGH! He is a TRAITOR and a TERRORIST! Who cares if he doesn’t shave his nasty face, the inside is rotten and evil to the core!!!

I don’t hate gays. I have gay friends and family. Though I admit that they don’t let their sexual desires define them. Being gay isn’t their entire identity, merely a portion of the whole. They don’t feel the need to picket and protest about someone else’s opinions being shared in a public forum. And they really disagree with the idea of the government stepping in. Picket until you need physical therapy, you have that right. The government, however, needs to be shut down on this issue.
This is a free speech and religious freedom problem here. This is not a gay marriage issue for most of us. Its about our constitutionally protected right to our spiritual beliefs. Its about our constitutionally protected right to share our beliefs, out loud, without government interference. This has nothing to do with the LGBT community, other than they read something out of an interview that the CEO did with a religious publication. Its about someone trying to tell me what I can and can’t believe. Its about someone telling me, no, demanding of me, that I be tolerant of their view points and rights, while they stomp all over mine with gleeful abandon.
You want to go on some anti Christian rant? Fine, rant away. But remember, you’re not the only one that has the right to speak your opinion.

  • August 2, 2012 at 11:04pm

Do you want to know my honest take? I hope that no one goes to hell. I hope that everyone realizes that we were put on this earth to help each other out, not to judge and beat everyone down. I pray for revival and rejuvenation. I don’t even hate the people at the Westboro cult, I hate what they do. They drive wedges between God and those that are struggling. I watched it happen with a friend of mine. She despises Westboro for their blatant hatred.
Love the sinner, hate the sin. What do you think God does with us? What do you think that our parents do with us, when we’re raging punks? They hate what we’re doing. But they love us. I love my son, but I still get angry when he acts like a bully. If I won’t tolerate that kind of nasty behavior out of my own son, why would I even consider tolerating it from people, that I feel, are twisting the Bible into what they want to to be.
Yes, these are my opinions. But just so you know, I’m honest about not hating people for being flawed. I’d pretty much have to live my life in abject misery in my own skin if I felt that way! I dislike how a person acts, or how a person treats those around them. I dislike being told that I’m a “loon” for believing in something that someone else doesn’t. If that’s the case, we’re all loons, because someone is always going to disagree with us vehemently in some area of belief.
I do not believe, not for a minute, that we’re supposed to be so hateful to those around us.

  • August 2, 2012 at 10:41pm

Oh boy. I have never, in my life, berated the employee of a company for the beliefs and speech of their boss. How much of a hatefully arrogant bully to you have to be, to take your anger out on someone that’s trying to pay their bills? Yes, freedom of speech, you clowns!! The CEO has the RIGHT to his personally held beliefs, and just because you’re alright with some bully taking his immature rant out on some poor drive thru employee, doesn’t make it right. The company has never tried to hide the fact that this is a Christian company! This company doesn’t discriminate against homosexuals, on either side of the counter. So what these morons are so upset about, is something that he said in an interview with a religious publication. Oh, and then you’re screaming about how he spends his money. Talk about galactic hypocrisy! You can throw your money at whatever you feel is right, but we had better not? Wow, and you call us close minded and hateful. You can say hateful, nasty things to people that disagree with you, but we had better not respond, because that would be “intolerant”. Well, here’s the response. We’re sick of having our RIGHTS, you know, religious freedom and freedom of speech, being stomped on by bullies and thugs that think that they’re the only people that have the right to say what they believe. Those silly things that the constitution guarantees? Not once did I see it say that it gave you the right to take my beliefs away from me.

Yes they are a small percentage. But the vile hatred that they display on a regular basis is not right. Not even by Christian standards. Their foul brand, either can’t see or don’t care about the damage that they do to non believers with their vitriolic media hounding. Or they revel in the grief that they cause. The media seems to eat it up when they get out there saying horrible things. It allows the people that view these things, to paint all Christians in that same hateful shade. They are left wing, hateful, nasty people, that I wouldn’t want to spend any time “getting to know”. Phelps-Roper is one of those people that makes me regret sharing a species with her.
“Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.” “Without love, we are as sounding gongs and clanging cymbals” These people seem to have forgotten that everything that we do, is supposed to be out of love and the desire that God shared with us. That He doesn’t wish that any would suffer damnation. We’re supposed to be a light in the darkness, not some hollow, evil sounding wind bag that seems hellbent on driving wedges between God and His children.

  • August 2, 2012 at 7:11pm

I’m not sure, but if you’re saying that the CEO of Chik-Fil-A is comparable to Muslim extremists for simply stating that he doesn’t believe in gay marriage, I think you’re missing something. We have a right to our religious beliefs. We also have a right to stand on a soapbox on a corner and shout to the heavens what we believe in. That’s not what he did. He did an interview with a religious publication and someone read it then went buggo because he dared to express his opinion, as is his right. He wasn’t threatening to hurt people. Heck, Chik-Fil-A doesn’t discriminate against homosexuals, whether they’re wearing the uniform, or on the other side of the counter as a customer. So this whole thing breaks down to someone trying to tell us that we no longer have the right to our beliefs, or the freedom of speech and expression to share those beliefs, because they don’t like it. Oh, they can get nasty and say some of the ugliest things that they can think of, but we’d better walk on eggshells if we don’t agree with them. How is that freedom? How is that not hypocrisy of galactic proportions?
If I misread your post, I’m sorry. It just really struck me like you’re blaming a man for peacefully exercising his rights, while giving the true hate mongers in this situation a pass.

  • August 2, 2012 at 5:27pm

Sadly, JZS knows that. Its been linked, talked about, gone on about, hashed over and beaten with a stick. He doesn’t care about the truth, just bashing everything that he disagrees with. And if he can, like most libs out there, try to link those foul creatures to the rest of us Christians, he’ll just keep spewing blatantly ignorant lies.
I have been on an online crusade against the Westboro cult for years now. Every time they show up, I try to get people out to counter them. I’ve researched them and their whole brood makes me sick. Every time that I see them on tv, I contact the brain trusts that put them on the air and ask them to invite me to debate with them, or to stop showing only one, twisted group of people and trying link all Christians to them.
I blasted multiple media outlets over and over again about letting me debate them on Biblical principles, or to stop putting only their hate and lies on the air. They use the same old lines to argue their points all the time, and I can counter every nasty thing that they twist out of the Word, with the real Word. I could use cue cards in front of a camera to counter their nastiness, they’re so predictable. I’d never have to speak a word myself.
True Christians KNOW that they’re not right… not even in the head, much less politically.
And the media isn’t blind, they’re complicit.

  • August 2, 2012 at 4:53pm

So what you’re saying is, that a “pastor” that has taken vows of marriage to another woman then goes out and finds a 16 yo that will let him do things to her, isn’t something that we should concern ourselves with?
Wrong answer. A pastor is supposed to be held to a higher standard than the rest of us. He’s supposed to be the one teaching us during the physical absence of the Savior. He is supposed to have his house in order and is supposed to be a living example of the right way to conduct ourselves according to our faith.
I have no desire to stone the man, but he should not be in a leadership position over anyone. Not when he so obviously takes advantage of the trust that is placed in him. I wouldn’t be able to trust him around my kids, how could anyone else at this point? Our children are supposed to be sacred to us, not things to be used for some perv’s pleasure.
So while we’re disgusted by this man and his actions, a lot of us will be praying for him tonight. Just like I pray for Obama, even though I truly dislike and distrust him. Just like I pray for those in prison. Redemption is not impossible, but he really shouldn’t be in a trusted position like that if he can’t control himself.
