This is piss poor reporting. Why would you write an article that you cannot verify or even know the people in the audio. For all we know it could Taz, Donald and Mickey Mouse on the tape. This is the kind of reporting I expect from the mainstream media.

Are you kidding me, after returning from Iraq I was called a baby killer, murderer and other such names. When I was getting ready to deploy to Afghanistan I was told from a civilian employee that worked on the base that he had hoped that my unit all died over there. I remember walking through the Detroit Airport and all the looks of disgust I recieved.
But in all fairness MOST of the time I was made to feel like a hero people offered there support and appreciation for everything we did. Strangers offering drinks at bars and to pay for our meals. In one airport (Kentucky) we were given a standing ovation and were pushed to the front of the lines (in Kentucky and Atlanta), not only by airport personel but by Americans standing in the same long holiday lines that we were in.
My favorite memory of Iraq was when we were driving from Kuwait into Iraq there was a family they probably had 10 kids each running along our long convoy and the Mother and Father stood at the side of the road, the Husband had his arms wrapped around his Wife’s shoulder in a loving and supportive embrace and tears of joy were running down there face. I will NEVER forget them, they were the reason through all the hell that we kept pushing through. We knew we had support over there and for a lot of us, it made the unbearable, bearable. Sorry that went in a different direction thanks for listening.
