  • Thank you, Diane, for saying out loud (so to speak) what many are thinking. We must discard and decry political correctness at every opportunity – loudly. No sane nation would welcome a dilution of its soul with hordes of misbegotten enemies as the USA has in the past 30 years. When anyone in government makes an illogical statement it must be challenged immediately and in as public a manner as possible. When Janet Incompetano declares the “border safer than before” she must be mocked and derided for lying to the American people. When Marco Rubio becomes (sadly) a useful idiot for the amnesty crowd he must be awakened to his error. When V.P. Candidate Paul Ryan states that he doesn’t mind legalizing the 11 – 20 million invaders from south of the open border because he thinks they have Republican principles, he must be corrected by those who know more about the people he is mischaracterizing. Those millions knowingly invaded our country to take from us: jobs, welfare benefits, and safety from violence. The canard that they cannot be found and deported is false. Rigorous ID checks at workplaces, imprisonment for welfare and social security fraud, zero welfare, and heavy fines for knowing employment of these interlopers would cause most to self-deport. Don’t feel sympathy for the “children” who have lived here all their lives – in this case the old saying that the sins of the father shall be visited upon the sons pertains – it usually does in most situations. • God Bless You, Firearm, for remaining faithful to the One True Church and for speaking out about it publicly.

  • Curious attitude in a man to prefer his dog to his own children. Wonder how his kids will handle this when they are teenagers looking for something to be angry about. People whose dogs are more important than their children are not thinking straight. What will happen to him when the dog dies? Maybe then he will notice his kids.

  • Just curious whether this “caring” father had the kid in a certified, government-approved seat belt restraint. I was not aware of air bags in the back seat of VWs either. If Js8c;4jpwhatevertheynamedhim was just sitting in the back seat unrestrained we will never hear about it for fear of violating the Nanny State rules.

  • Is it possible that S.E. is referring to the perceived status of women in the world of Mormonism? Just as a genuine practicing Catholic nominee would not look for a running mate among the gay activist community, a Mormon may not be comfortable with a female running mate.

  • Isn’t it refreshing to see another “spontaneous” apology for a slap at a Republican President! Remember when the Secret Service was dispatched to arrest a couple who said “Clinton sucks”? American citizens lose their rights to free speech about scurrilous Democrat office holders but good men are routinely heaped with scorn by the Leftists in Hollywood while we wait in vain for redress.
The cancellation department at HBO must have been pretty busy after this story broke. We cancelled HBO years ago when we couldn’t watch it without feeling the need to go to Confession immediately afterward.

  • Guess we’ll have to move Texas A&M farther away from Austin – the Liberal plague appears to be infecting some of the Aggies. Is there no one in the Economics Dept. who raised a red flag on this illogical “research”? Perhaps these writers are not American-born and don’t realize that our criminals were already armed before we passed the Castle Law and the Concealed Handgun Law (Thanks to Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson!) Raise your voices, Aggies, and Aggie Moms. Tell the University you expect better.

  • It is unfortunate that GCB got so much bad press before anyone got a chance to see it. As a very involved Catholic lady and conservative Republican living near Dallas, I loved it! As did my husband once he saw the first episode. Annie Potts was so wonderful and the production values were amazing. Get over yourselves, fellow followers of Christ. This show was not at all blasphemous because it did not make fun of theology or belief; it made fun of us, the believers who fail to live up to God’s expectations of us.. And it was the funniest show on TV.
