  (Self Deporting) My brother moved to Prague. he wanted to live there. He bought a round trip ticket. – never used the ticket to return. He knew if he bought a one way ticket, they’d never let him in. So he stays longer than the government of Prague thought. He then tries to get a job and make money. If he’s going to live there, he needs money. HE COULDNT FIND WORK. In Prague, he was “illegal” Companies would NOT hire illegals. He worked under the table when he could, but after several months he simply could NOT live there. HE SELF DEPORTED. – HE LEFT. // Back in the ststes, he made the point that one day he’d like to return and live there, but IF HE DOES, HE WILL HAVE TO DO IT LEGALLY. – -now whats wrong with that? Why can’t we, the United states be as tough on immigration as a small country like Prague?

  I completely agree with you WILMA. – so all that was for what? Because she wants us to know in her rant that she recognizes something we already know? That the poor need a safety net? – ok. I believe the poor DO have a safety net. But what the poor doesnt have and wont get .. is a “advance 3 spaces” in life card on the gameboard of LIFE. Life doesnt work that way. often in life these hand outs hold them back. I wont speak for all of you, but i know we ALL want everyone to have equal opportunity . .black, white, poor, middle class, handicapped. – - – when someone advances themselves out of poverty or beats the odds, we LOVE that and applaud that.
