  As a former long haul trucker, I agree with the cops on this one. In some states signs are clearly posted along mutli-lane highways that it is illegal to drive in the left lane unless you are passing someone. If there is no one on your right, get out of the fast lane or get written up. She should pay the $90 and call it a day – and stay out of the left lane unless she actually needs to be out there. Some drivers need to learn the lesson the hard way.

  I am astounded at the number of posts from people who are rooting over a man’s death! What is wrong with you?! This man was killed – and what exactly did he do? According to the article he violated his PROBATION for a drug charge. Did he rob banks? Did he shoot 22 kids in a public school? Did he rape women and children? NO! He violated his PROBATION, not even parole! And for that he died and most of you here applaud his death over such a minor thing. You should be ashamed of yourselves! There’s reason to kill and there’s reason not to. We do not get all of the details about this, such as how close to the farmer the man was standing when he threatened him. Was the man holding anything in his hands which could be used to assault the farmer? Why, exactly, did the farmer choose to fire his weapon and take a life? There’s a lot we don’t know but I do know there is a time to kill and a time to use restraint as a responsible gun owner, and I question this farmer’s actions given the limited information I have from the article. What harm would have been caused if the farmer had let the man go? Now the farmer has to live with the fact that he has killed someone and believe me, he will lose sleep over this. Gun owners have a mighty power and it must be used responsibly at all times.

  Every English-speaking American should be OUTRAGED at this! What is wrong with saying it in English? What is wrong with these speakers of other languages learning English? They are living in a country where the predominant language happens to be…English! If they can’t understand English, then I highly suggest they learn it. I’ve had enough of this bull of bending over and changing everything into other languages just to suit those too ignorant to learn English! Even the Department of Motor Vehicles publishes their materials in ten different languages – so those who don’t speak English can study and take the test, assuming they will even be able to read any street sign once they are driving! I was fed up enough a few years ago when Mexicans were trying to sing OUR National Anthem in Spanish! It is time to put our foot down – especially when our Pledge of Allegiance is being broadcast to our schoolchildren in ARABIC! The enemy speaks Arabic and that should be reason enough not to do it. Stuff your incluciveness. We are Americans and we speak English in this country – get used to it or get out!

  @ FREEDOM LOVER: Keep going, you are making a great case that YOU are the idiot. You say that Obama was born in Hawaii – PROVE IT! Nobody else seems able to… Born in the United States does not automatically make one eligible to be president. Natural-born equals being born of a mother and a father BOTH of whom are U.S. citizens when the child is born, no matter what country they are born in. Obama has failed to prove as much, as has Rubio and Jindal. DemocRATS and ******** paid no attention to Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution when they installed Obama (a known Islam sympathizer) so now Republicans and Tea Partiers should pay attention to it? Ha! Don’t think so!

  @MUFFY THE TUFFY, if Obama has a Hawaiian birth certificate, why has he not presented it? He presented three very obvious Photoshop FORGERIES! Obama has not even proved who his REAL father is! Therefore, he also has not proved that he is qualified to be president OR that he is even an American! Looks like some of you people believe what you read in Obama’s books is factual…Obama’s background is a work of fiction. And Obama’s gay, too. Bet you didn’t know that…

  In this day and age, and considering the message written (there was no further explanation that he just wanted to come to school dressed as Santa), one can understand how it could be misperceived. I don’t blame the parent who reported it to police. I also don’t blame the police for investigating, but that’s as far as this should have gone. (Those of you calling for the outing of the parent should think again – what if this had indeed been a serious threat and everyone ignored it?)

  But police escorting him to school? What’s up with that?! I do blame the school principle for choosing to suspend a good student for such a small misunderstanding. He should never have been suspended! Bad Call! The student should have been made aware of how others could misconstrue his Facebook message as something ominous and be told to think about that, keep it in mind. End of story. Suspension was going way overboard.

  Tell me again how someone would fake this? How would they show the baby being lifted into the air and DROPPED onto the ground from around four feet? What mother would allow anyone to do such a thing to her child? You guys who think someone faked this are ridiculous!
