Don't know if any or you recall this.....but, in 2012, Trump was making noises about running in the GOP. NBC met with him though and offered him a lot of bucks to have another season of the Apprentice instead of running for office. Trump has talked about this openly. Although in NBC's case it was more of a bribe and Trump took it.
I think you'd need to be able to boil it down to one individual. Also, CO would have to be the ones to file the charges. That increases the odds slightly that such a thing could happen. It also means that the legal violation would need to be CO law, not federal. I don't know if CO has a law that would apply.
If he's a sitting Congressman, he won't be able to do the shows anymore. Why would you expect a corporation to spend time and money developing a show for someone who may to be able to do it?
Why would it be questionable for a corporation to know ASAP that you intend to follow through with your contract instead of waiting 6 months to see if you get a better offer?

In San Francisco what else would you expect. The “government” is a select group of employees deciding what is best for the public. It’s past time to take our country back

The man who attended Rev. Wrights church wonders why real Christians want to save those being beheaded? Why did we ever let this man be elected
Elected twice. “...Fool me twice, shame on me.” A true testimony to the ignorant masses.

Bullying is not allowed on a college campus. Neither is assault. This woman did both. The college should fire her as they would any student bullying on their grounds. They are also required to report assault to the police.

People wonder when “the Donald”will cross the line and piss people off… This did it for me. I would vote for Bernie before I would vote for Trump.. He refers to the Bush reign…. imagine Trump thinking he is a King and not a President…. it’s time to kill the clown.
The VA operates exactly the way the Feds want it to.

Police departments hire just as many idiots as any other employer. Being against a stupid cops abuse of power does not mean your an anarchist, it just means you know your rights and expect them to be observed. You do NOT have to obey everything a cops says. Only lawful orders need be complied with.

Every American should realize that the Freedom of Speech should NOT allow someone to provoke anyone willing to inflict violence to keep you quiet.
When the New York Time applauded the Broadway hit “The Book of Mormon” with praise and reviews for the thousands that fought for tickets they never worried about being killed in a group. When the NYTimes raved about a play that included “F*** God” in its lyrics we never debated what is right about Free Speech.
Only when we fear the reaction of someone exercizing the right do we blame the victim for causing the rape….????
Yes, a nice noisy toy would be great, and it should be unwrapped only to find that it is mysteriously broken or defective. Of course, no receipt should be included and the giver shall remain unknown. Let them try to return that and try to get the full price.
No, You need to give him toy guns. The parents would Panic and call the police.
Right... See why no one invites you to any parties?
I LOVE those domed popper things with the little balls in it that jump around and make a loud popping noise.

When you buy things (a cruise) you enter into a contract with the seller. The seller is not responsible for things that go wrong in your life. I am sorry your son died but how is this the responsibility of the cruise line?
There a thousands of things that change in people life in the months between where they sign up for the early discount cruise rate and the time the event occurs. It is NOT the responsibility for the cruise ship to make sure you feel like traveling. Be personally responsible for your life. Quit making others take care of you.
Couldn't agree more, neiman.
That being said, the article did say the guy is a "Platinum" member. I don't know what that means, but if it means he's been on numerous cruises with Carnival, and that's he's a longtime and loyal customer, then it could definitely be in the company's best interest to give him most of his money back. I'd rather lose out on the money on this one cruise, and have the guy return multiple times again...

Why is the world shocked that liberty loving conservatives are appalled that someone murders a man fleeing from violence? Conservatives believe the right to defend yourself belongs to everyone…

Too many cops with too big of egos. These body cams are going to help reign in abusers with badges

He is a juvenile . He is entitled to call his parents. The worst crime in the world is one carried out under the “color of authority”. It is way past time for police departments to rid themselves of these idiot cops who don’t understand their role.

1. Why are firefighters shopping during on duty time. Bring your food like others bring their lunch. They are being paid for 24 hours of “work” a day. Shopping should be done on their time.
2. Forget the extra gasoline they are not where they are suppose to be. Fire station are scattered so that all homes are covered. When a truck unit is 4 miles away from their station they increase their response time to an incident for 6 to 8 minutes. People die in 6 minutes. This is a poorly supervised department. Someone should be fired and that is the chief.
"They are being paid for 24 hours of “work” a day"
Exactly. So if they need to buy food, they are still on duty. If they take a dump, they still are on duty.
You also don't want them far away from their truck since you never know when you need them.
Bottom line: it's not the typical 8 hour day job with lunch breaks . Can't tell the fire not to happen during lunch.
1. You must be joking. Fire Fighters eat on duty. Sometimes we don’t even get meals. When you see a fire truck at a grocery store it’s because they’re making dinner for their fire house. Those who are on duty to save your sorry ass in case you get in trouble. The time is proper for suck things.
2. They’re in a fire truck. They can respond anytime they need and 4 miles isn’t going to make any difference in response. The national response time for emergency response in this nation is 8-12 minutes so I reject your asinine idea that it’s going to increase response time by 4-6 minutes. Not only is that unrealistic but it’s also pretty stupid. The only one needing criticism is the citizen.
3. Please get your head out of your ass.
An EMT / Fire Fighter.
I can tell you this as a fireman;
It is important to run the trucks. It is important for the driver to get continual experience in non emergency environments so that they are very practiced when the bell tolls. It is actually rule in most states. In fact if you look closely you will find that most of their time is spent practicing while on duty. Also, it is necessary to stay together as a full crew just in case there is a call. They usually keep staples at the department however it is easier to eat as a crew at the station so they can leave everything there and turn off the stove if a call comes in. They are not paid a lot so saving money is important on the food end. In terms of response time, being together as a crew with the vehicle in the town they serve is just fine. I'd leave these guys alone. This is not something a tax payer should be worried about.
Obviously you have no practical experience as a FF/EMT. An in service unit that is manned is considered to be the highest state of readiness. Doesn't matter where it is, as long as it is proximate to it's service area. After all, who can possibly predict where it's going to be needed next? An in service unit unmanned, in quarters but with man power also in quarters is the 2nd level of readiness. An in service unit in quarters and no manpower in quarters is the 3rd level of readiness.
Hopefully, when your time of need these guys are available, because they’re out fighting a fire in which they might lose their lives, or seriously injured. They would crawl into a oven hot enviorment to save a person they don’t even know. Yes, it’s their job, but not everyone has what it takes to do this job. I’ve seen two infants who were burned beyond recognition and kept doing my job, gone home and tried to sleep. That was 16 years ago, I still see their mother outside wailing because she left her cigartte burning and ignited their aprtment, how’s that?
What’s the worst you’ve seen in your job? And that’s just one incident, I’ve got more to haunt me throughout my 29 years doing the job.
So what if they were out shopping for the groceries, They’re on the job during Christmas, New Years, kids birthday’s, you don’t have a clue what it’s like to bury one of your crew members after another when they retire and don’t even live long enough to see his first retirement check. Life expectancy is pretty pi$$ poor due to heart desease, caused by the job stress.
When the bell rings at 3am and boom you’re off to the world's worst nightmare and you’re in the middle of it.
When the 348 firefighters lost their lives on 9/11, most of them knew they weren’t coming out alive, how’s that for stress? So, if you want to yank my chain about firefighters being special, yeah they are, I am proud to have been one for 29 years. And would turn around and do it again, if given the chance…

Mandatory student “fees” collected from everyone and then spent by left wing loons. Make the student fees optional and see if they don’t use them more carefully
