This action is contrary to the oath of office they took. The oath is as follows, “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.” Their “protest” is against the 2nd Amendment which, if they paid attention during the oath, they swore to support and defend. They should all be walked out by the Sergeant at Arms and arrested for treason. They have become the “domestic enemy”.

Actually, the CSP is now reporting that we had over 4500 here in Hartford. It was a great day for the CONSTITUTION State!

Interesting “conversation” about Santa Claus. I support everyone telling their children what they believe. I am also a born again believer which some say is a myth, but that’s okay too. It has no bearing on what I believe. We raised two into adulthood and they have made decisions on their own to follow Jesus. I say these things so you have a sliver of where I am coming from. We home educated and did not have any outside television for 25 years, so our kids were free to explore the world without pop culture being any real part of our lives.

We made the decision to allow for the Santa Claus story because it originates from a real person. A Christ follower from the 3rd century. The true story is about giving to others less fortunate than ourselves out of a heart of gratitude for what Jesus gave. There is no place for the “Madison Ave” Santa Claus in the home of faithful Christians, but to teach our children about a saint of our faith is good and right. It is possible within this historical context to have wonder and imagination-which I believe comes from God. The way we celebrated did not create a dissonance for our kids according to their own testimony. They felt our Christmas celebrations were rich and Christ focused and will be doing the same with their children. I am posting a link that has good info even though I am not of the Orthodox faith. I hope it helps.

PP is only one reason I do not support SGK. And since none of the other issues have changed I will still not be a fan of SGK. Read The Greatest Experiment Ever Performed on Women by medical journalist Barbara Seamans to get the full picture.

There have been MUCH worse. Factor in all the elements-aging, rocker singing acapella out in the cold and you have the best he could do. I think his intentions were good. Personally I think they should use someone from the locale the games are played in or a musician from within our military. I’m not saying Steve Tyler did this in any way, but we do not need big headed celebrities like Roseanne diminishing or soiling our anthem with their screwed up politics.

You’ve hit the nail on the head Bluefish49. I also just have to say that I think Imus is one of the most vapid personalities on the air.

I can’t answer the poll as it is set up because I believe they have improved in the Conservative community, but in liberal land, they have gotten worse.

Frankie only has a platform because his dear parents Francis and Edith built it. He is taking advantage of this because no one would listen to him if he didn’t have his parents to stand on. He is just like Ron Reagan Jr-nobodies without the great ones that went before. Too bad their mothers are still alive to see this garbage.

Has anyone here ever seen Mika shopping at Walmart or Target? I am CERTAIN she and everyone else around that table shops at high end stores simply because they can! So what is the problem with others who make the choice to spend their personally earned dollars where ever they want? Liberals make me sick.

The lead photo is offensive in that our flag is not a piece of clothing. According the the Flag Code, section 8d-”The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery.” Since I have taken the time to really understand the historical issues Muslims have with non-Muslims, I do believe EP46 can safely make such a statement. BUT, even if it isn’t being done intentionally, it is still offensive and wrong.

Just a wee bit put off by “In the Name of Jesus-boogity, boogity, boogity”. The Name of Jesus is just too precious…

The Prosecutor didn’t do his job. He thought he could win this case on emotions-the currency of liberals. The jury required facts, evidence and clear information in order to do justice to, “beyond a reasonable doubt”. He thought, (I heard him say this in an interview) just flashing the photos of the child’s remains would elicit a guilty response from the jury, but they needed information based on facts. They actually did their job, the Prosecutor didn’t. John Adams wouldn’t have settled for that shoddy a presentation by the prosecution. Sadly, in courtrooms across our country everyday, juries base their verdict on emotions rather than evidence. Our justice system is in a real shambles-this I know from personal experience.

Take another look at the end of the video. The server hands her 2 boxes and Michelle turns around and hands them to 2 other people and then heads to the door. The 2 she hands the boxes off to, look surprised. So, did she order lunch and then not eat it? If this is the case, what was the point of going into this little restaurant? Just wondering how it looks to everyone else.

So proud of Andrew, stepping into a very unfriendly situation and just going for it. He forced them to report his side and I believe it forced Weiner to make an apology. Andrew sets the standard for standing up against the liberals, for all of us.

Chief Moolah, your comment about early Christ followers is inaccurate. They voluntarily shared all that they had. Communism is a forced “sharing”-taking from the producers and distributing it to everyone for the purpose of equality. Of course, this equality is a fallacy because those who run the communist show are more equal than everyone else and therefore make the rules and the exemptions for themselves. Remember, Communism isn’t a voluntary system. Becoming a disciple of Jesus is.
