Wait till all the information comes out about the FEMA camps that are ready and waiting.

There was a time during war when people rejoiced and were releived to see American soldiers come into their country. Other armies had raped and pillaged them. Our soldiers would give out candy and give them comfort. Now we have people in high places in government with no morals or decency. These are the very people that have taken God out of our government and out of our country. We are no longer the country that represents decency. It is not the average American, it is our government.

VTorch – thank you for your link. I have seen her paintings and the story of her life. It is remarkable. Her painting of Jesus is probably more reliable than any thing else I have ever seen. Anyone else who offers their thoughts on what Jesus looked like carries no weight with me. Its all speculation except for her painting. Sister Faustina also saw Jesus and her vision looks very much like this painting.

This has become a site for the nasty people to post. For anyone who finds Catholic posts hilarious, you are not worth responding to.

The figure among the Protestant clergy ranges between 2 and 3 percent.

Freedomlover_US – below are some facts. Your post has made me not want to post here again.
According to a 2000 report to the Baptist General Convention in Texas, “The incidence of sexual abuse by clergy has reached ‘horrific proportions.’” It noted that in studies done in the 1980s, 12 percent of ministers had “engaged in sexual intercourse with members” and nearly 40 percent had “acknowledged sexually inappropriate behavior.” The report concluded that “The disturbing aspect of all research is that the rate of incidence for clergy exceeds the client-professional rate for physicians and psychologists.”[xix] Regarding pornography and sexual addiction, a national survey disclosed that about 20 percent of all ministers are involved in the behavior.[xx]
In the spring of 2002, when the sexual abuse scandal in the Catholic Church was receiving unprecedented attention, the Christian Science Monitor reported on the results of national surveys by Christian Ministry Resources. The conclusion: “Despite headlines focusing on the priest pedophile problem in the Roman Catholic Church, most American churches being hit with child sexual-abuse allegations are Protestant, and most of the alleged abusers are not clergy or staff, but church volunteers.” Finally, in the authoritative work by Penn State professor Philip Jenkins, Pedophiles and Priests, it was determined that between .2 and 1.7 percent of priests are pedophiles. The figure among the Protestant clergy r

You are right. I am about at the point of not reading The Blaze anymore. It is not only how they have reported on Pope Francis, but it is all the anti-Catholic posts. In a time when we should be united as Christians and Conservatives, I find the comments very disturbing. Thank you for your post.

Perhaps you could say the exact same thing about Jesus. Jesus gave us an example of humble service and that is what the Pope was doing. Knock the Pope and you knock Jesus’ example!!!!!
March 30, 2013 at 1:27pm
In this time when we have an administration and educational system trying to remove God and desensitize people by stomping on the written word JESUS, can we, as Conservatives not bash anyone’s religion?? Can we unite against the evil that is threatening America in every direction? There are much bigger battles coming. Wait and see what this Pope does. What ever denomination you are, keep Jesus as your center. Support other Christians. If the Vatican falls, so be it, but for Heaven’s sake, stop knocking each other and remain united against real evil. Catholics will still be centered on Jesus no matter what happens, just as other denominations will be also. Having said that, I am hoping for a Christ centered Pope to lead as Jesus would have him lead. Time will tell.

Max jones – I don’t know who you talk to, but for Catholics the main focus is on Jesus, in the Mass, in the Eucharist. We don’t worship the Pope, period! I wish people would stop talking for Catholics, especially when they don’t know what they are talking about. As far as the end times goes, I don’t know what will happen, but for me as a Catholic, Jesus will always be the center, right to the end.

Would a Christian University boycott a Progressive speaker?? Its time they did exactly that. Why did ND have Obama as a speaker?? If its a Liberal college, can a few Conservatives demand a Liberal speaker not come?? This is getting more absurb every day. Can’t they hear the other side? Are they really tolerant? Christians and Conservatives seem to be very tolerant. I’d call that stupid. Its time we demand our rights too, just as loudly as they do.
That's the plan of the left though. Silence the voice they disagree with. They claim they are offended and slowly work from there. Let's hope we can keep this trick from working.
You are absolutely correct. The time has arrived to speak up. No more lurking in the shadows or sitting on the fence. If we don't stand up for morality and what's right, then we are guilty of promoting the evil malignancy that is taking over America. There is no longer a non-committal middle ground.
The Bible speaks of a separating time - sheep and goats, wheat and tares, and a wide road to destruction vs. narrow road to life. I whole heartedly believe we are in that time. The Bible also seems pretty clear that to not actively choose good is to passively choose evil. A passive choice of evil is equal to an active choice of the same.
When Obama came here to Notre Dame to speak, he was warmly embraced by a majority of the students and faculty....trust me, Notre Dame behaves as a CINO ("Catholic in name only") university. Most of the faculty (and many of the students) are politically strident left wingers. The non-left-wingers stay in the shadows to avoid ridicule.
Sign of the times.

Oh my gosh, he is stuck in the potty mouth stage of development. What age is that – 5 or 6 years old. Why do we give any of Hollywood a stage to say anything? I remember Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, etc., they were all patriots. Modern Hollywood is full of regressive idiots.

First they use the argument of a danger to the mother’s health, which is so rare it hardly is worth mentioning. With all the abortions taking place it is hardly for the mother’s health. However, if a baby is born from a botched abortion, it can no longer be considered a danger to the mother’s health. Therefore it is clearly murder. Isn’t there a doctor on trail now for killing babies that were born from a botched abortion. These people are evil. It has been a slippery slope from the beginning. Next comes the elderly.

All the anti-Catholic comments are sad. For those of us who understand the meaning behind the Mass and what it does know that it is scripture based and we appreciate and value the meanings.

All we can do is hope that he follows the meaning of Social Justice of the Church and not the corrupted version that is espoused by the Progressives.

Southern Rebel –
12 So when he had washed their feet [and] put his garments back on and reclined at table again, he said to them, “Do you realize what I have done for you? 13 you call me ‘teacher’ and ‘master’ and rightly so, for indeed I am. 14 If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another’s feet. 15 I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do.”
He gave us an example of humble service to one another. If you are a leader, you are to serve with great humility.

TH777 – you said: This is why after a great study of the Bible I left the Catholic church. Have you ever read a book on what the Mass is based on? Have you read any of Scott Hahn’s books? I think you might be surprised on why things are done and what the bases of the Mass really is. Lots of ex-Catholics never studied the meaning behind the “why” of the Mass and its meaning. Perhaps you have and made an adult decision to leave. But, please, respect those of us who love our church.

jman-6 – you really do not know what you are talking about. If you studied the Catholic faith you would know that what it does is based on scripture. Please stop your uninformed bashing.
