What did libertarian Milton Friedman think about illegal Mexican immigration?
    The answer will surprise you.

This is a very tragic story. It is unbelievable that the current administration wants more and more restrictions on decent citizens, yet they have no problem allowing the criminal justice system to release the people in custody that are far more likely to commit crimes. Talk about and upside down world for the last 5 years….
I will wait to hear whether or not the Obama Administration tries to ban wooden stakes, which obviously would have prevented this loss of life.

This is NOT a new story! —Aug 25 2011, I read it back then.

Thiel’s Vision of an Independent Ocean Nation

Thiel is working with Patri Frieman, previously an engineer at Google, to launch the first of the floating colony offices in the Pacific Ocean by 2012, reported Details magazine.

Thiel, 43, who launched PayPal in 1998 and was depicted in the Hollywood film “The Social Network” for his role as Facebook’s first investor, has already sunk $1.25 million into the independent ocean colony that will be constructed in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, just off the coast of San Francisco. The republic would be independent from federal government jurisdiction and would sit atop a floating 12,000-ton structure with accommodation for 270 residents, he told Details magazine.

My back yard is full of dirt that’s 170 million years old. Considering how little it took to move the rock, it was going to fall soon anyway. Better to make sure its safe. If someone was killed, people would be asking why someone hadn’t knocked it down before a tragedy struck. Im all for protecting the parks, but it would be stupid to hold these people responsible. Realistically, the Park employees WOULD have knocked over the rock themselves, except the government shut down prevented them from making sure the park rocks were safe…….

The NEW mural should have been nothing more than a web link: http://WWW.——.com that linked to the original school prayer.

Do you find it unethical to violate the U.S. Constitution and go through the phone records of millions of people without following the law? Do you find it unethical for the IRS to target citizens based on religious or political views? Do you find it unethical to go around Congress to pass laws and instead place “executive orders” because majority the will of the People do not agree with the President’s beliefs? OR do you only find it unethical when it comes to positions or political positions that you do not agree with? Make sure you are consistent in your beliefs. If you are not, then you are unethical.

You are absolutely wrong. This country was founded on the belief in God and the teachings of Christianity. Nowhere in the U.S. Constitution does it say that religion is to be separated from public schools or from government. If you have proof, display it for all to see. The laws that are in place are all flawed based on inaccurate readings from a letter from Thomas Jefferson, and not from the U.S. Constitution.

‘ The year-to-date count of tornadoes is probably approaching the lower 10% of all years on record, said Greg Carbin, warning coordination meteorologist with the Storm Prediction Center in Norman.

The reason: An unusually cool weather pattern from the Rockies to the East Coast. “Generally, the lower the temperature and/or the drier the air, the lower the number of thunderstorms,” said AccuWeather meteorologist Alex Sosnowski. ‘

Hmmm, increases in tornados? Not according to May 10th 2013 article in USA Today that said at lowest level in 60 years, since 1954. Even with this latest OK outbreak, there is still no increase over past years. Politicians are worthless.

Here’s a great site if you want to find a safe campus that ALLOWS guns. Of course, this site is supposed to stop people from sending their kids to these schools, so it is GREAT to have THIS resource to help us decide which conceal carry campus we should send our kids. My oldest hopes they pass legislation in Texas to allow conceal carry on campus because he wants to go to school in Texas. Yes!

The racist Southern Democrats are alive and well still. They were racists and kkk members back in the 1930′s, 40′s, 50′s, and 60′s and they are still are racists 50 years later. No shock at all except that members of the Democratic party turn a blind eye the racism in their own party.

Sorry, i don’t even see any resemblance. Since the ratings are blowing everyone away and it’s hard to criticize this program, the “media” people had to come up with SOMETHING to criticize. What a stupid claim made by fools.

This was a racial hate crime and should be punished to the full extent of the law. The grandma was pushed down because she was white. The attacker is obviously a racist.

Wow! She has no clue where the other money went?? How about the cost of medicare, increases in ss costs, increased taxes on companies, government regulations and all the money that has to be spend hiring attorneys and accountants to make sure companies are compliant. A lot has changed since 1960 as far as what the government costs companies in order to conduct business. So, “what happened to the other $14.75?” —- The United States Federal and State government has spent it. If you want to increase minimum wage: Start by looking in the mirror and then Return ALL corporate/company taxes back to 1960 levels and get rid of all the other regulations/bureaucracies that suck the life and money out of businesses and the employees pockets.

I live in Naperville and the city is out of control. I did not want the smart meter and they initially told me I could keep my analog meter, but they would charge me an additional fee each month. I believe it was something insane like $25-$40 per month (maybe someone else can recall). The initial statements made by the city said that it would save everyone money on their electricity, not telling anyone that we would need to install a government control in the house that would then decide if we kept the home too hot, or too cool and they would adjust it for you. Now it came out that (city lied)they will be raising electricity rates to pay for the smart meters (so much for saving money. sounds like Obamacare) in addition to other instruments used to install the meters. Most of the people in the Naperville City Council are sick, they are narcissists. These Progressives must go.
