Let’s think rationally about this for a moment and look at what Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper did and Marilyn Manson did. It’s not a big deal, and quite honestly its a freak show that’s been done over and over before as part of a SHOW. She’s a washed up leftist hag who can’t come up with a new idea. *SURPRISE!*

Being a old school rock dork and one who loves trivia, do you know what happened to Toni Iomi’s (the guitar player from Black Sabbath) famous Gibson SG with the inverted crosses on it? IT WAS STOLEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN. He would have Gibson make another one and it would come up missing. Oh, and another little known fact about Iomi, he came up with the concept for Sabbath from watching the people stand outside a movie studio for hours waiting to get into a horror flick and decided to make scary music (ie its a gimmick). The day he left the metal working factory where he worked to do Black Sabbath full time, he lost all of his fingertips on his right hand, as he’s left handed, his right hand is the hand he has to feel the frets and strings on to play while he strums with his left.

Next thing you’ll hear is that she’s talking to Marilyn Manson to get patrons to sacrifice puppies before she preforms. Get over it. ITS ALL JUST A SHOW!!!! What makes her get her kicks is that you’re talking about it rather than mocking for doing a washed up act done again. Just hope she doesn’t emulate GG Allen next and defecate on stage at her next show and throw it into t

Madison Rising’s rendition of it is awesome. I have it on several of my itunes playlists and listen to it like I would any other rock song.

Being Veggie is a LIFESTYLE choice! I should know. I come from a family of hunters and fishers, but have been veggie for 15 years, which is half of my life. My sister became veggie a few years ago, but we aren’t arrogant butt holes about it. Mom, dad, and our brother eat meat and we don’t. For us it came down to something similar that Stu said. I cannot look into the animal’s innocent eyes, kill it, skin it, grill it, and eat it. If you can’t then you don’t deserve to eat it. I am a huge advocate for hunting animals. It is way more humane than a slaughter house. If you can’t stomach the killing of it, then don’t eat it, but if shooting an animal with a gun, skinning, butchering, cooking and eating an animal is the same a pedophilia, this guy has more mental problems than I am qualified to diagnose.

I really want to go to this.
    Think about it:
I already know what I’m going to wear, my #teambuck t-shirt.
I have tons of questions to ask, none of which are going to be answered, yet all will be really annoying and distort their message.
I will be annoying to them in the most polite, “smile in the face of your enemies kinda way”.
I watch/ listen to the Blaze and do my own homework, so I will be well informed in the face of adversity.
Who wouldn’t want to go and ruffle some feathers while speaking the truth?
I love it and I wanna go, someone has to be there to represent our side of the argument.

Madison Rising is beyond Awesome! Finally a great rock band, great message, and a guitarist who actually knows how to play rather than someone mixing tracks. I love it and have been begging for it for years! Come to Florida, guys, I can’t wait to see you live.

The haters can rock to Nickleback and pop their pills from a pez dispenser.

    What in the world?
Honestly, as a Christian, would you disregard any information in a text book that was on the page 666 that could help you on a test because that’s the mark of Satin?
When I was in high school we had a little over 1000 kids in our school and my last name starts with an M, so my assigned lunch number was 666, my younger brother was 667. I tried to get them to change it and they wouldn’t. The lunch ladies feared me, and sometimes refused to feed me, but I got though it with the same number assigned to me for 4 years.
I understand where she is coming from and respect her for standing up for her values, but there is some point where a number is just a number. Take the text book example or do you make sure the number of characters in a post doesn’t equal 666? How about cashing a check that was numbered 666? Would you throw away that money? I would hope you have more sense than that.

I hate this for the family, and unfortunately cremation is an irreversible process, but they know he’s with is heavenly father, and I hope that brings them peace.

Having said that, and having worked in the funeral industry, I cannot tell you how often the facilities get the names wrong on the remains. It can also be confusing for a removal service, and having been in that position, you can go to a facility and pick up someone’s remains and have nurses chasing you out of the building that someone else has moved on. This particular funeral home is part of an international corporation of cemeteries and funeral homes, SCI (or Service Corporation International). Although there was this one inexcusable mix up, as a company they handle thousands of funerals flawlessly all over the country, including members of my own family, Michael Jackson’s service, countless other celebrities and politicians, like they handled the service of Ronald Regan.

From what this news story tells, the funeral home did nothing wrong and it was a mix up at the facility, many of those places have morgues and cut the identification bands off the decedents for their records. I honestly recommend that either you or a strong member of your family stay with your loved one and witness the removal from the place of death to the funeral home. If your loved one wanted to be cremated, witness the process (it’s your legal right to do so). Be proactive about after life care and this would have never happened.

I grew up in Highland Lakes, NJ and went to school in Vernon. I used to pass by this place almost daily and always begged my mom to take us and she never would.
I kinda understand why she didn’t now, but I always thought she was joking when she told me that the kids threw rocks at each other and all the injuries that happened. I just thought she didn’t want to take us there. I also understand why my parents moved us out of state now.

    Who wears short shorts?
    The President wears short shorts!

What is up with the matching shoes and socks? You don’t even see Michale Jordan doing that in commercials.

Oh, and that last pic, he looks like he’s got a stick up his butt.

My brother was a Hooters girl.

Wait, maybe I should start over, my brother isn’t and has never been gender confused My Dad used to CALL my brother a Hooters girl when he worked there as a cook after leaving my his construction business. He loved working there and my Mom used to insist that we eat out there all the time to watch my brother work. The servers were always so sweet! Hooters offers a lot of modeling opportunities and scholarships for the women and insists that they are treated with respect. I’m glad that they are standing up against the Mayor of San Diego and are, once again, standing for women’s rights!

    Go Glenn, Go!!!

These people must live under a rock.

First of all, they apparently didn’t pay that much attention to the trial that they claim to care so much about. If they had paid attention to the evidence at all, they would know that the forensics showed that Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman when he got shot. Even his friend Rachel Jentile (sp?) said on Piers Morgan that she thought Trayvon attacked Zimmerman. If they had watched any part of the trial, they would have known that the defense didn’t use the Stand Your Ground law as part of their case, because they didn’t need to, it was a classic case of self defense. I have no idea why they are still harping on the law. IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CASE! Get over it, already!

Secondly, Zimmerman was found innocent buy a jury of his peers. After O.J. Simpson was acquitted, no one ran around and painted pictures of him killing Nicole!

Thirdly, from an artistic perspective, this painting is done very poorly. The artist wanna be has no concept with what to do with negative space. The lighting is coming from 3 different sources, giving the painting a lack of cohesiveness. The image of MLK looks like it was done with a opaque projector and a school text book, sketched on and then painted. For my final rant, who is she trying to fool with her “too cool for school” one word name? Houng is obviously a left wing nut just trying to get some attention and make a name for herself. She doesn’t care about “justice for all”, its just a

CNN is doing real journalism! It’s hard to believe, but they’re doing it!

I honestly believe they are fearing the ratings of Fox and theBlaze, but they have the cash and are finally telling some truth! Keep at it, CNN! We need more voices exposing the fraud, not less!!

What is up with the bugs moving around on the news camera? Did anyone else catch that?

  • August 2, 2013 at 9:43pm

Can companies that you work for also do this?

I admit, my smart phone rides the short bus of smart phones, but when I’m at work my phone won’t hold a charge for more than 2 hours, even when it’s fully charged when I leave in the morning. When I’m at home, my phone stays charged for 6-8 hours. I don’t need or use my phone at work, so that’s not an issue, and I generally leave it in my purse in my locker, so I don’t understand why it dies so fast at my job.

    “American Skin”
    1. When I hear this title for the first time, I think skin head. I don’t think that is by coincidence, it’s what he intended.
    2. I have American skin, I think. Well, I have an epidermis that covers my body, much like everyone who has been identified as a human being. I was born here, and I’m blessed enough not to be an albino, so my skin has also has melatonin. The levels of melatonin in my skin shouldn’t have anything to do with how I’m perceived, and for most Americans it doesn’t matter to them! Just act like a decent human being and be kind to those around you and don’t attack people for no reason. This goes for people with varying levels of melatonin. Get over it, it’s not a race or a civil right, it’s a chemical in your skin, Mr. Sharpton, and while you’re at learning about these skin levels and what makes us each unique and wonderful, study up on Malcolm X, learn from the wonderful Ken Hutcherson, find out what made them not hate those of us who lack in melatonin. You do claim that you are are Reverend!
    “41 Shots”?
    1. Damn! Where do I get that magazine at? :D Sounds like fun!
    2. This perpetuates the undereducated, Zimmerman didn’t shoot at Martin 41 times, but once. This is as bad as what NBC news did to change the facts to make the situation sound worse than what it was. Way to race bait, SpringSharpton! If you want to talk about something, get your facts right. You have alienated your base, hope your sign all 10 of those albums yo

Let us try to be TRUE Libertarians for a moment:
I’ve been vegetarian for 14 years and I study Tibetan Buddhism. If my temple were to put up the money for a Buddhist monument on public land, I’m all for it! I’m all for this atheist monument, only if they only spent their own money on it.
I WANT MORE VOICES NOT LESS!!! If some group wants to be heard then all groups should be heard equally if they are paying for their own monuments.
I have worked for years in an industry that caters to Christians, but I think all groups should be represented, we all deserve a voice, so long as we are preaching love, kindness and compassion. If you are preaching hatred, get out of the gene pool!!!
If you’re Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Catholic, plz raise money and have your monuments on public lands, just dont silence anyone else. Love to all and hatred towards none should be our mantra!!!

    I totally agree with you!

Just to keep up with it all I have been forced to keep a chart. It’s getting pretty full now, I may need to transcribe it onto poster board soon.
