  @ new.world.: Although the plate looks to be blue with white letters, it could be an old CA plate that was blue with yellow. Then again, as unwantedfoe noted, the rabbit could be from another state.

  @SOVEREIGNSOUL: My thoughts exactly. Plus, there are plenty of other taxes that renters pay, thet end up going to the schools. (amongst other things.)
  @WCJ: I don’t have children either, but as horrible as the school system is out here in CA, the generations before me – some of whom didn’t have children – paid for my public school education. The part that irks me is when they use the money for something else. That’s where the nonsense has GOT to stop!

  Believe me. There are plenty of us here in California who are making our plans to exit. I’m not what they consider “wealthy”, but I also don’t believe in, nor want hand-OUTS; and I’m tired of the 47% not paying their “fair share”. Everyone needs some skin in the game.

  Not only did the idiots out here in ca (which is the majority, but not everybody), vote to raise taxes on the “millionaires”, but that very same proposition raises sales tax another 1/4 percent – for everyone. – So now we all have to pay more for their stupidity. That’s okay, they’ll wonder what hit them next time they but something at the store. Guess they should have read the fine print instead of solely listening/watching the ads on tv.
