  Soldiers for hire “PMCs” have a long and established history, which as been taken to a new level in recent years in Iraq and Afghanistan (Croatia, Sierra Leone, Angola, etc.).

  I’m sure the current administration is looking intently at a private “civilian security force” large enough to deal with any situation. Not obligated to the Constitution or the so-called “Rule of Law,” but only to who signs their checks.
