Atheist – Infidel. We pay nearly $5000 each year in property taxes to fund local education on top of $5000 each year to send our 2 children to parochial school. We gave up a LOT to do so.. vacation, new autos, limited gift giving because that was our choice. Many families cannot afford to pay twice for the ability to choose where they will send their children. They are stuck with bad choices and bad outcomes.

It’s time for a voucher system. Let the parents decide where they want to send their children.

Living in the older part of the city in Tampa, FL – a Democrat leaning district – I am watching the increasing number of Romney signs on a daily basis — both in yards and on autos — as compared to the number of Obama signs in the 2008 election. Currently, the Romney signage out numbers the Obama signs approx. 12 to 1. To be clear, there is only ONE Obama sign in the neighborhood and during last election there were many for Obama. A lot of my neighbors have switched support this year and from an “one the ground” perspective, I think that we have a less biased view of the support for the nominees.

The fact of the matter is there is nothing Romney can say that won’t be criticized. Certainly some portion of Americans need some type of assistance but when the number is 47%, that is simply unsustainable and Romney, the number cruncher, realizes this. Should he win the election, I think he will probably bring a scalpel; a hammer and a bulldozer to start to clean up the mess he has inherited.

Barack Obama is a cross between American Idol, Barney the Dinosaur and our Dear Leader.

I will take Romney any day because at least he has a moral compass and is willing to face the media when they get their panties in wad.

Any politician that thinks it’s OKAY for 47% of Americans to depend on the government needs to be thrown out of office. Romney didn’t create these numbers and he shouldn’t be condemned for stating the truth.

Hmmm… what about portions of the Bible and the 10 Commandments that relate to and are a foundation for a civil society such as “Thou shall not kill” and “Thou shall not steal”? These are not useful things to learn?

And another thing.. if he so believes in evolution, why hasn’t science duplicated the evolution of some other species to that of a human? Why doesn’t there continue to be an evolution from monkeys (or whatever) to humans? Why did evolution in critical thinking and reasoning stop with humans?

I guess if Dawkins believes that you just die and there is nothing left, he has a 50 50 chance of being right. Whatever….
